It was amazing! It cost around 70¢ for a single night, and I would say it was a reasonable price because the room was clean, the breakfast was lovely, and the staffs were so kind. I appreciated that they kept my luggage after my check out before my leaving. Since the hotel was located two to five minutes from the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, I found it convenient. Vielen Danke!

Location is relatively central and within walking distance to Jungfernsteig shopping district, 5 min drive from Alster Lake. The hotel is relatively new and clean, well maintained. There is a Nespresso machine in the room however there was no hot water kettle. When queried, the staff said to just use the Nespresso machine for hot water or drink water from the tap! Only sparkling water bottle was provided, if you want to buy a bottle of still water, it will cost EU7.00 (no thank you)!

Es ist alles schön und gut bis auf das im Zimmer die Luftfeuchtigkeit fehlt und die Klimaanlage/Lüftung irgendwie nicht funktioniert. Konnte durch die trockene Luft leider nicht richtig einschlafen und dazu führte es zur Erkältung. Ansonsten sauberes Zimmer, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Hotel is close to the airport and city centre. You can easily access all attractions from there. The breakfast’s variety and taste was surprisingly good. I fully recommend you to stay there. The only thing is hotel does not provide any toothbrush and paste etc. don’t think you will have when you arrive

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Pros Good location and only 5 min walk from the nearest train station (keep walking when you see the sign on the side of the building as the entrance is round the next corner). Got a deal for 2 double bed room for 3 adults including breakfast - booked direct as comparison sites only include 2 breakfasts. Buffet breakfasts had both cooked and continental style food. There was plenty and they serve English breakfast tea. Comfortable beds and decent bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons Air con was not great and barely made a difference. We were on the Große Bleichen side and with the windows open, we heard noisy speeding luxury cars and the refuse collectors that both woke me up. We kept the windows shut after this. I would ask for a room on a different side if we visit again. I can't comment on the restaurant as we ate out in the evening.

A good and clean hotel in a good location and access to the city center, metro and... Everything was fine except my room didn't have a good view, my key card didn't work with the elevator when I got back to the hotel the receptionist wasn't there and I had to use the stairs to get to my room on the 4th floor. The pool and sauna were disabled and I didn't see anything about it on the booking website (Of course I didn't look hard because it's a normal feature for a five-star hotel and I expected it to be clearly stated).

OK - es sind immer noch die Möbel, die ich noch aus der Zeit kannte, als es das Forum Hotel war. Und das ist schon sehr lange her. Aber im Herbst soll die Renovierung losgehen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Ich habe ein schönes Zimmer bekommen mit schönem Ausblick zur Stadt. Leider wird sehr viel gebaut, so dass man beim nächsten Mal vielleicht gar nicht mehr bis zur Elbe gucken kann. Schade. Dieses Mal gab es sogar einen Vorgang, der dicht war. Bis auf den Wasserdruck (15. Stock) der Dusche war alles in Ordnung. Aber das ist naturgegeben und damals kein Standard. Überrascht war ich beim Frühstück. Neben dem freundlichen Personal, das schnell abräumte, war das Angebot sehr vielseitig. Ich hatte nachgefragt: die Frikadellen schmeckten wie selbst gemacht (verbrannte Zwiebelstücke) und nicht nach Convenience. Aber man wollte sich nicht mit fremden Federn schmücken und meinten, dass es doch Convenience sei. Aber es war alles sehr gut. Ich werde wieder das Hotel mehr in meinen Fokus setzen, wenn ich wieder in Hamburg bin.

Positive: From the price performance perspective it is a nice hotel to stay overnight or at most two nights. Clean rooms and bedding. Small rooms, but comfortable. A very nice local bar/pub beside the hotel where you can eat, drink and watch sport games Negative: Not enough electric sockets. None beside or close to the beds. Hardtime if you have sleeping aid machine. I had to ask an extension cable and multi socket and they provided. Car parking in 5 min walking distance not a big deal, but dropping off or loading your luggages at the front door of the hotel is problematic. Either you block the bike road or sidewalk or have to stay in a paid park area. Each time you get punished by local people :) The worst thing we experienced was the outage of the internet and they could not fix it in 48 hours.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal! Auch Extraservice (frühes Frühstück für die Kinder) wurden uns angeboten. Eine Matratze hatte einen großen Fleck, aber auch dieses wurde umgehend behoben! Super Lage, zentral vor den Türen der Innenstadt gelegen. Man kommt mit der UBahn überall hin und es gibt sogar 2 große Shoppingcenter direkt in der Nähe. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel auch für Familien!

PPengguna TetamuThe room comes with 1 queen size sofa bed and a toilet once you open the room door. Then there is a sliding door. Once you open the sliding door you will see a king size bed and a shower room with bath tub and toilet. There are 2 TVs, 4 pairs of room slippers. Room size is comfortable for 4 adults. At lobby the hotel provide welcome drinks and cookies. Also packet juice and morning coffee. The hotel is opposite the terminal 1 main entrance. Has to walk cross the road and it was snowing when we were there, very cold.

PPengguna TetamuDas Team an der Rezeption war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich bekam schon um 11 Uhr mein Zimmer. Tolle Beleuchtung, dicke Handtücher, ruhiger Raum, alles sehr sauber. Leider hat es geregnet, so dass ich ununterbrochen Regentropfen auf dem Aluminum ( außerhalb des Zimmers, am Fenster )gehört habe. Auch wenn es nicht geregnet hat. Tagsüber ok, nachts furchtbar. Aber mit Ohropax konnte ich prima schlafen. Werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

I stayed there two nights during the weekend of Hamburg's marathon and the stey was very fine. Clean room, very calm hotel (or good insonorisation) good looking decoration. Friendly staff. The location is ideal: close to many shops, easy to reach from the city center/main station and very calm street. I did not have breakfast on site, but it looked very nice for the price (eggs, different breads, pastries, fruits, yoghurt,... it had everything). The only negative thing would be that the room I had was a bit tiny -but perfect for one person. And it had no table, which made working in my room complicated. I would definitely recommend it.

PPengguna TetamuDuring our three-night stay at the hotel, we had a generally positive experience. The check-in process was smooth, but unfortunately, during check-out, we encountered a long queue, and the staff appeared overwhelmed. Despite this, our room was clean and comfortable, although we did encounter a minor issue with a broken TV remote. Moreover, we noticed that the gel/shampoo container in the shower was empty. Despite these minor inconveniences, the hotel's location was particularly advantageous, situated only a five-minute walk away from the Berliner Tor station. Additionally, we were impressed by the excellent quality of the breakfast provided. Overall, while we encountered some minor issues, our stay was generally comfortable and enjoyable.

Although the room was exceptionally large and we had a river facing view, which was nice, that’s about all I can say to encourage you to stay here. At first I thought we’d been given a room for a disabled person as the bed was so low to the ground, but the bathroom was not suited to disabilities so it was just an exceptionally low bed, given that the average German man I’ve seen seem to be well over 6ft tall, even I am 5’7”, I found it uncomfortable to get in and out of. The wifi in our room was pretty much non existent. You know how a wifi icon is rainbow shaped, our intermittent connectivity was the little dot at the bottom of the rainbow, if I stood right at the entrance door. You have to ask to have your room cleaned and if you forgot, too bad. Our room wasn’t attended to the 3 nights we were there but I managed to get our bins emptied, once. There was a space for a fridge, but no fridge, no phone either to call reception to request room clean. The bathroom, while nice, had the toilet paper holder right in the splash zone from the shower, so everyday we had wet toilet paper. We didn’t eat at the hotel, breakfast was €25 each so we went to the street that is a 2 min walk away and has breakfast for €8. The staff were all very pleasant. All in all, there is nothing wrong with this hotel and Hamburg generally is not cheap, (we were hit with an unexpected city tax upon checkout, which we have not paid in any other German city), but I think for the price, things could have been better.

MM0rtenAndI was a little apprehensive after having read some of the reviews on here, but I have mostly good things to say. The hotel may be a little dated, but the rooms are nice and clean. The shower was quite tight, so be aware if you are bigger than average, and I wish there’d been a safe. My biggest point of criticism was the lack of air conditioning in the room, which was very hot. The hotel did provide fans however and the windows can be opened. The area around the hotel is a little dull, but the nearby station will take you to any part of Hamburg within minutes so it didn’t matter too much. Booked with breakfast, which was good with plenty of options.

JJade DRight in the middle of the Reeperbahn, near KFC, very rowdy but this is a safe hotel that accommodates tourists. We loved the convenience of being able to explore St Pauli and also get a taxi to the airport in the middle of the night as the taxi rank is just downstairs. Smelt of smoke in our room, but it was still clean and well-prepared. Looks like the photos, but no elevator till the 1st floor. This was the view from our room, we were street facing but slept well, the hotel is well insulated from noise.

MMarkusDie Lage ist top, sofern man Party auf der Reeperbahn/ dem Kiez machen möchte. Man geht aus dem Hotel und ist direkt mitten im Geschehen. Die Unterkunft ist ein klassisches Hostel. Mehr darf man nicht erwarten. Einfach und funktional gehalten. Aber alles, was man braucht.

PPengguna Tetamusehr verschmutzt !!! Ich hatte ein Zimmer in der 5.Etage - der Fahrstuhl fährt von der 1. bis zur 4.Etage, die Stufen bis zur 1. sind für gehbehinderte schwer zu bewältigen, und die zur 5.Etage ebenso- aber ich brauchte ein Zimmer (es war nach 21 Uhr). Die Tür zum Zimmer ließ sich schwer öffnen, das Zimmer macht einen schlechten Eindruck, nur das saubere Bett bewog mich zum bleiben. In Gedanken an die Treppen im Haus blieb ich im ”Zimmer” Nr 51 ! Der Fußbodenbelag war sehr fleckig, die Stromleitungen sehr mangelhaft verlegt, das Waschbecken direkt im Zimmer, der Fernsehen ging nicht- wohl die dreckige Fernbedienung; eine Anleitung war für das Gerät nicht zu finden ! Dusche im Flur - Toilette ebenso ! DAS HOTEL IST NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN !!!
