Viva Beach and Spa Maldives

From the very first day, the staff surrounded us with care and attention. They always asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything🩷The owner and another staff (unfortunately, I don’t remember their names, my bad) gave us lots of helpful tips on where to eat, what to see, and where to buy souvenirs Our room was cleaned promptly upon request — just don’t forget to hang the cleaning sign on the door. The Island 🏝️ The island is cozy, and the locals are friendly and always ready to help. Special thanks to the guy who saved me from a falling palm branch during a storm! Tips for future visitors: 1. This is a guesthouse, not a resort. Breakfasts are simpler, but even picky eaters like us always found something tasty and never went hungry. 2. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the bikini beach. For us, it wasn’t an issue, though some reviews mentioned it as being “far.” In reality, you can walk around the entire island in 20 minutes, so everything is close by. 3. If you’ve only booked breakfast, make sure to notify the guesthouse a day in advance if you want lunch or dinner. Since it’s a local island, they buy ingredients based on the number of guests. 4. There’s a restaurant called "Delizia" near the guesthouse. Highly recommend it! The food is delicious and affordable. Try the chicken fried noodle — I got obsessed with it! 5. For souvenirs, check out the small store near the restaurant. It’s located right across from the big banner advertising the restaurant. Prices here are lower than in Malé. 6. Snorkeling is best at the bikini beach. Other spots are less convenient due to the waves. I would love to come here again! I was a bit worried before booking because I couldn’t find enough information, but it turned out to be an amazing experience! What a expirience. Bleu ocean, dolvins, spoeling. Really friendly and helpfoul people. Went on a fishingtrip and whas amazing. Good food and clean and nice rooms. I will miss it and maby Come back one day. Defently rcomant this one to annybody.

One of the best holiday in Maldives. The hotel is on the beach of island. But the front beach is not the bikini beach. Bikini beach is almost 8 minutes walking distace from hotel. But on the front beach hotel we do relaxing on sunbed and chairs with shorts and T shirts. The hotel arrange special dinners and breakfast on this beach. Best part of this hotel is their amazing excursions. We did Dream Island trip, Manta trip and a Sandbank trip with the special excursion guide called Samad. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Spotlessly clean rooms lovely Breakfast basic but ok Staff helpful the island is not tourist friendly looks like a junk yard all Over island which you walk round in 20 mins. Tourist beach is only place you can wear a swimsuit you walk through a boat yard to get to it again full of old rubbish. The hotel advertises beach front whilst it is the beach had rubbish washed up they do Not clean up and you have to have a t shirt on at all times to use You are greater at hotel with a list of Dont’s Make sure you take a good insect repellent we got eaten alive Food the same everywhere in the handful of cafes they are not restaurants do don’t expect anything fancy Vegetable fried rice $10 hotel charge double for the same You have to take your shoes off before entering however reception area does not have a floor only sand We stayed 3 nights and this was more than enough

Viva beach and spa is situated in the heart of a local island allowing you to experience and take in the culture and life of local residents who live there. Everyone you meet on the island are friendly and welcoming, especially those who work at Viva beach. Due to it not being a resort island you need to respect the Muslim culture when outside your room and Viva in covering your shoulders and legs, not showing PDA etc. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the (bikini beach) which is for tourists to use however you can visit any other local beach but should remain covered. Viva is a fabulous hotel, and cheaper (including deals) when booking directly through their website. It is a new building with clean, fresh decor and linens, aircon and the best shower ❤️ the sea view is lovely to wake up to from their comfy beds. They have a safe in the room and toiletries,towels included (along with a designated beach towel). Their food is delicious and plentiful, the buffet breakfast is $6, lunch/dinner $10 pp from their menu. They are incredibly attentive and genuinely wish to give each guest the best stay from food to rooms, to excursions. Raj was fantastic on the snorcaling safari, especially when I was anxious initially. Abdulla, Raj, Mohammed and the team shared their culture with me through food, drink and talking it was one of the best parts of my trip, including a tour to show me the little spots like the oldest tree on the island, the oldest mosque on the island and the schools, shops and cafes. As a solo female traveller I had moved from another island after a bad experience and Viva were first class from pick up from the speedboat to leaving. Hotels on the island are ran by the same family (brothers, cousins, uncles) so you're safe wherever you are on the island. I would recommend anyone who wants to go for a relaxing holiday in the Maldives, with the option of excursions and experiencing another culture. The excursions are endless from ocean activities, beach from dinners, private island trips, even dining with a Maldivian family the list is endless. Island use US Dollars and speedboat is 90 minutes at $40

Отличное соотношение цены и качества. Замечательный гид RAJ. Прекрасный шеф повар, кухня лучше многих резортов. Чистые номера, хорошая уборка. Внимательное отношение к постояльцам. Ты чувствуешь заботу и внимание к себе, а также заинтересованность персонала в высоком качестве твоего отдыха каждый день своего отпуска. Это редко встречается и это ценно. Спасибо за чудесный отпуск, мы обязательно вернемся! Из минусов не работало спа, кафе на крыше и пляж перед отелем смыло после шторма. Но это временно)) и это компенсировалось в цене.
