After 3 flights from the UK to Hanimaadhoo airport we were greeted outside of arrivals by the friendly Sujan from Hondaafushi resort. We were directed to the speedboat which took about 10-15 minutes to reach the Island resort. We we then greeted by Rina from reception who led us to check in. Our luggage was to follow us we were told we hadn't to do anything everything was taken care of. Anything we wanted we just had to ask. Nothing was too much trouble. Check in was fast and efficient. Cold towels and a refreshing juice drink were greatly appreciated. We were then driven in a buggy to our room along with our luggage. Sujan talked us through what and where everything was in the room. Everything was clean and fresh and the view from the french doors was magnificent. We were in room 119 which was closer to the restaurant than the bar but neither were too long a walk, the buggy service was available if you wanted to use it but we are avid walkers so chose not to. Our room was cleaned daily by Robiul. He was a friendly helpful young man, thoughtful too as he decorated our bed and ran us a bubblebath full of beautiful flowers on our wedding anniversary. He cleaned the room very well every day. The resaurant is buffet service and you have the same designated table for the whole of your stay. We had a perfect position overlooking the beach and the ocean. The food is avaiable in small amounts with plenty of choice at all three mealtimes. I applaud the resort for not putting out mountains of food which will just get wasted. The amount is in keeping with how many people they need to feed. We stayed at the beginning of june and it was very quiet. This made our experience so much nicer for it. Our waiters were Nazrul and Sangita they were attentive, friendly and helpful. Lilanath the restaurant floor manager walked around chatting and getting to know us all and making sure we were happy with the food and service being provided. Early in the holiday at breakfast i noticed the milk jug that had cling film over as a fly protection was not really a practical solution as people were leaving the lip part of the jugs film open thus allowing the flies to get in. I made a suggestion to lilanath that maybe something like the stainless steel jugs used for coffee could be used instead as it had a covered lid. He took the advice away and the very next morning it had been implemented. No more flies in the milk! The three ladies working the grills and the fruit station Sakunthala, Thasmi and Dikshya were very smiley , happy ladies who always had the time of day for you however busy they were. The food fresh cooked at the grill and pasta station are a welcome addition to the ready prepared dishes that are available. We booked a Balinese massage for our wedding anniversary. Surya and Tirta were lovely friendly ladies who i can highly recommend for a massage. The spa was situated overlooking the beach and was a very calming and relaxing atmosphere in which to have a massa

The Island and the resort are incredibly beautiful and well mantained. The Villas are beautiful and big and the food was outstanding. The water was crystal clear and the beaches beautiful. The Service was outstanding and the people working there made sure that they had the best time ever. We want to emphasize the attentive and incredible , unforgettable Service at the Restaurants ( Thank you) We are Definitily coming back to this beautiful resort and can just recommend it. 10/10
