We wanted to stay just out of the hustle of the city and this hotel fitted that bill. It’s located in a good area with plenty of eating options nearby and is really close to the tram, u bahn and bus stop for getting around. Everywhere in the hotel is exceptionally clean with good size rooms. We were there 3 nights and were given the opportunity to decline the maid service which we did and were given two vouchers for a free soft drink. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice and this set us up for the day. Really pleasant staff in the restaurant as well as throughout the hotel. The only disappointment was the bar was closed when we wanted a drink on a Sunday evening at 9.30pm.

Stayed here for one night to attend the Pet Shop Boys concert at ZAG arena. The best part was this hotel was a 10 minute walk to the entrace to the concert. There is a huge parking lot if you drive - we had taken a train to Hannover and Ubered to this hotel. The air conditioning A/C worked amazingly - probably the best A/C of any hotel we stayed at in Europe. The rooms were very large and spacious with nice bathroom as well. The beds were fairly comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of restaurants nearby. Before the concert we couldn't really find anything and were hoping to eat at the hotel restaurant after the concert. When the concert finished - by 10PM - the restaurant was already closed and the only place we could find food was the REWE to go petrol station next door. Breakfast was offered but we did not partake in it.

We booked again a room at Leonardo Hotel Hannover and did not regret and we had a great stay and mostly everything was perfect. We got a nice room with view to the Tiergarten and shower as requested. The breakfast was super -as usual- and a great thank you to the staff, which is doing a great job in satisfying all requests of the guests. A special thank you to Mrs. A. Hormann, who is always friendly, attentive, she is really a ”pearl”. Thank you again to the whole staff and we will be back for sure!
