Hotel Huyen Soc Son di Hanoi

What an absolutely lovely little hotel! Located 10 minutes by car from the airport this was a last minute booking due to a delay in our connection flight and I'm so glad we chose to stay here. The decor is gorgeous, everything feels brand new and it's like a little slice of glitz and glamour. The room was very large for the size of the hotel with a walk in shower and full size sink and plenty of room to stand and dress in the bathroom. A large wardrobe and lots of floor space around the queen size bed. The whole place was impeccably clean and the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood felt quite run down so this hotel was such a surprise tucked away in the side. They also provided free taxis back to the airport which we had to book the night before we left. I didn't get a chance to use the pool as we were so exhausted from the flight already. The restaurant, which was small but enough for the size of the hotel, was great. We had to order from the main reception desk before taking our seats in the restaurant. The decor again was beautiful and everything was clean. The food was lovely and the service was quick with polite and professional staff. I would absolutely choose to stay here again. The room was very clean, the service was good, and not far from the airport about fifteen minutes drive, I was alone but booked a twin room, the air conditioning location is not so good! The air conditioner facing one bed another this will be very hot. Overall, though, it was good.

I was on a business trip to central Vietnam and transited in Hanoi. The hotel was very close to the airport so I stayed there. Overall, it was very convenient to travel. Because my flight was early the next day, I didn't enjoy the hotel's breakfast.

The hotel's hardware is average, but the service is excellent. The waiters are warm, attentive, and responsive. The orange juice at breakfast is freshly squeezed, and in the evening, they even gave me a bowl of fried noodles. Since I couldn't use my VIS card, the owner gave me dinner. It was a rare touch.

From my perspective, I should probably just say that the experience was good overall, and perhaps I don't need to delve into the inner workings of the hotel staff. I was pleased to negotiate the tour price and receive such a satisfying, all-around experience. However, perhaps I'm mistaken, but there seemed to be a hierarchical relationship between the taxi driver who took me to the airport and the female staff member (guide). We managed to save 150,000 VND through negotiation, and I'm not sure how much influence the taxi driver had over the hotel, but when I asked for a bottle of water to hydrate while waiting at the airport, I couldn't believe my ears when he offered me 100,000 VND. The taxi ride to the airport was 90,000 VND. Is it possible that a bottle of mineral water costs more than the taxi fare? It almost felt like they were trying to get their money back after negotiating. I also speculated that the guide was expecting a tip in return for the all-around service. For some reason, the guide seemed teary-eyed. I didn't force them to lower the tour price, and the staff and guide were kind enough to agree, but the taxi company that displayed GBD in green letters on my smartphone was pushy. However, since the hotel recommended it, I had no choice but to take it, so I did. At first, I thought the husband of the tour guide would be the driver and would be happy to take me there, but the driver changed and the air quality in the hotel was bad, which concerned me. Also, there were two fire ants on the bed, so I removed them. I didn't mention this to the staff member, but they fixed the air conditioner when it wouldn't work, and they provided some when there was no toilet paper. These are things I would like them to do without being asked, but I think the female staff member was nice.

First of all, the front desk is very warm, the attitude is good, the hotel is very new, the room is clean. But but, it was too noisy, and I was awakened with earplugs. This hotel seems to be still being renovated. It starts at 7 o'clock in the morning. The opposite building is also under construction and the building is shaking. Maybe this problem can be solved after a while.

We came in late evening from Siem Reap and had to go to the airport for our connection first thing in the morning. I didn't want or need to go back into Hanoi, we just needed a clean quiet place to sleep. Had heard of these airport hotels and wanted to try it for fun. The Owners were very kind. It had 3 super twin beds and air conditioning. The room was absolutely spotless. They offered beers for sale for $.80. We got a great nights sleep. I the morning they served toast and a fried egg, bananas and coffee. Just fine for our needs and only $26. per night!!

Booked this hotel for ease of travel back to ho chi minh city after spending time in the north...Hotel is great , staff very helpful and made us feel welcome..Even at 11am on day we leave I confused time for breakfast but they still organise for us..Thanks heaps guys and will return in the future to stay here when stopover or returning to Saigon 😁👍🏻

I stayed at a hotel near the airport for a day, but it wasn't easy to find the location. It's in the corner of the alley.

Really nice option as airport is far away from the city so it’s easy to just put your luggage there, roam around the city on grab and then come back to sleep there for early flight 👍
