The hotel totally surprised us with a free upgrade to a spacious 3-bedroom apartment! It had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. The receptionist and bell boy were super friendly and helpful. Checking out was a breeze too. Just a heads up, the hotel doesn’t provide toothbrush, shaving kit, or cotton pads. You might need to ask the receptionist if you need them.

#1 Price: I have stayed in many locations in old town because I like to move around and experience different settings. At this price point; this hotel by far (after 3 different hotels) is the best choice for your hard earned money. Location: Excellent; 25 seconds walk from lake and close to all the attractions of old town. Really doesn’t get any better than this. Room: Everything works. -Large New smart TV with Netflix and YouTube -Fast WiFi/internet (can remote work) -(High ceiling and spacious) (I’m 5’8 ;see photos for reference) Many hotels around the area cut corners and make their rooms small and ceilings low to save space which can make you feel claustrophobic after a day or two. “Very important after a day out in old town with all the tight spaces / crowds and chaos.” -(Barely any street noise inside room; I’m sensitive to noise and slept like a baby) -Room cleaned everyday by staff. +Bonus points for the versatile lighting inside room; 8 different switches for different lighting options. ((Hotel Staff)) Available 24 hours Young and eager to help; very knowledgeable speaking many different languages and knows the town very well. (Don’t underestimate these young men and women.) I have never seen such hard working young individuals who have no other intention but to help you have the best stay at this establishment. (Special shout out) to “Denny” who ran out in the pouring rain to help me find my car ride to the airport because we were running late. Conclusion; Stop wasting time reading this review and book this hotel before the rooms are all taken; I was lucky to find a room since they’re mostly always booked.

The hotel is tucked away in an alley, so cars can't drive right up to it. Although there's an elevator, you still have to climb about 5-6 steps to get to the room. The best part is its super close proximity to the cathedral, just a 2-minute walk! In the evenings, the alley fills with people eating, maybe having BBQ? It's lively but not noisy at all.

Great location, right in the middle of the old quarter. Lots of eateries and shops around the area. Very convenient to access and to go all popular places, like the train street, Dong Xuan Market, Hoan Kiem Lake etc. Right beside the hotel, there is a tik tok popular dessert shop. Hotel staff, Anna and Peter, are professional, helpful and friendly. They will assist you in booking Grab, arrange restaurant reservation. They will guide you where to go for good food and spa too :). Price is decent and you couldn't be asking for more.

Recommend this hotel! Great clean, large rooms and staff are lovely. Pool is VERY refreshing and breakfast is very varied and delicious. On another note - I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to the travel service this hotel provides. I have never received such wonderful, prompt communication and we did a 10 day trip (many different excursions) at a very competitive price. Even when there was a hiccup with dates, he staff work tirelessly to rectify - even at 10pm!!! Highly recommend this stay - yes, some night can be slightly noisy but earplugs are provided and we slept soundly. We knew we wanted to stay central and knew the risks of that!

Well it’s a mixed feeling. The communication with staff and checkin was flawless. The room itself does look like on the pictures but it doesn’t feel the same. It’s very photogenic that’s all. It was well cleaned but it’s a pretty run down place. You enter through a dirty shady corridor. The bed linens and towels are in dark grey and brown colors so you can’t really tell if they’re clean. In the morning I woke up to the intense smell of cigarettes that was coming through ventilation. Through a bamboo structure on the ceiling you can see an old and stained concrete. Overall nothing wrong but wouldn’t book it again.

The location is quite good, it’s in old quarter and walking distance to many popular sites, so this is a plus. The reception people were so nice, they have different people on different shifts, all of them were so friendly and polite. After we firstly checked in and stayed the first night, the air conditioning in our room stopped working. So we informed the reception and they kindly changed our room. The breakfast was not too bad. Basic but for the price paid, I can not compliant, there were fresh fruits and a choice of freshly cooked omelette or chicken pho. It is good value for what we paid. Staff started working very early and they could be loud in the building. I was woken up by them on a few occasions. On some nights, we had a gecko friend visiting us, we like it, it looks cute and harmless. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, because its value for money and reception people were so friendly and nice.

Chose this place because of good reviews but was disappointing. Ground floor cafeteria smelled of stale urine the first 2 days I was there. Took a rook with window and got scammed as the window faced a wall 2 feet away so it was dark with no natural lighting. I'm OK with the alleyway that other travellers talk about as this is normal for vietnam. Bathtub poorly designed sucu that it kept leaking on floor and caused floor to be wet.

Great hotel well located near the old quarter, but far enough away to avoid excessive noise at night. The facilities, including our room, the gym and the pool, were all excellent. Breakfast was of a very high quality - food was fresh and tasty, and there was a wide variety each day. The service was impeccable - staff were extremely attentive, approachable and friendly.
