Hotel di Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi

The service was excellent. Our room was very clean and tidied daily. The restaurant was decent. Its location is great, with all major attractions within walking distance. Plus, there's a fantastic dessert shop right next door! My only suggestion would be to add felt pads to the restaurant chairs, as guests on lower floors might hear them being dragged around early in the morning.

Overall, I was very satisfied with everything about this hostel. However, I think extra caution is needed when it comes to some Chinese guests. They seem to have little understanding of basic etiquette - they talked very loudly in the room, made phone calls on speaker, and even left a smell that seemed to come from vaping inside. Their behavior disturbed everyone in the room, yet they didn't seem to realize it at all.

Sapa Hotel was the best among the three hotels we stayed at during our 6-night trip to Vietnam. The reception team (two ladies and one gentleman) were incredibly warm and treated us like family. They asked about our plans and even gave great local advice. One rainy night, when all the hotel umbrellas were in use, one of the staff kindly lent us her personal umbrella — such a thoughtful gesture! We also tried their breakfast for two days, and the spread was excellent — a good mix of carbs, fruits, and meats. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The location is perfect — just a short walk to Sapa Lake, Sapa Station, the Stone Church, and VietTrekking Café. There are also many restaurants nearby with various price ranges. The rooftop view is beautiful too. Highly recommended!

The apartment is brand new and fully furnished. Everything from the bed to the kitchen is clean and modern. Located in the city center, it's within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions.

This was such a pleasure to stay in! The check in and out process was quick. I loved the space of the room, the kitchen was equipped with crockery and a big fridge. The bed was very comfortable, and the view from the room was stunning in the day at night - looking over the lake and city. It has a spacious shower that is easy to use, and the shower gel and shampoo smelt so great! There is a gym upstairs, as well as a laundry room to wash and dry your clothes in the dryer that was super helpful for me. Breakfast was delicious, not a massive spread but still enough to be satisfied and tastes good too. The area surrounding this location has restaurants, coffee shops and a lake, as well as a shopping street. I was also able to have a late check out and was super grateful for that as my flight was later. Thank you for such a lovely time!

The room itself is nice, nice and comfortable, with Netflix. But the biggest problem is the lack of staff. The front desk work time shows up until 8:30 pm, but I arrived at 6 pm, there is no staff, you can't find anyone! Try contacting on Trip.com, no one responds. Then finally tried to wait for someone to reply in WhatsApp, and finally they sent a person who didn't speak English and didn't seem to know the situation. It was not the person in charge of the reception at the front desk. Finally, it took more than an hour to get to the room. It feels awful. Suppose that if there is something wrong with the room, such as what is lacking, you need to find a staff, you will not find it. Even if you find it, you may have to wait a long time and you will not get immediate help. This needs to be known to the people who plan to book this hotel. Other room problems, such as showering to the sink full of hair to plug, you have to clear it yourself, these are relatively minor problems.

I stayed here for two nights, arriving just a day after Typhoon Yagi had passed. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the pleasant atmosphere. Since I was here for work, the room had a study desk, which provided a cozy and comfortable environment for me to get my tasks done. On the second day, it was raining, and I had an urgent meeting with my colleagues. The owner was kind enough to let us use the lobby to work, which I really appreciated, as she didn’t have to. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi. As a bonus, it's within walking distance to many attractions, and I love their focus on eco-friendliness and sustainability. Staying here feels like you're doing your part to help the planet.

I booked room with queen-bed, bathtub, balcony and floor 5-8. none of this i got. Bed are 2 single bed put together. The floor was 4(finally i dont care, but i guess my original room was sold again). Balcony is inside the building. No wind and very hot. I planed to stay longer but i am already used that the descriptions are never right in Vietnam so i left next day. Outside are many small eating place at night and bussy but room still quietly. Bed not soft and would be good if it would have the right size.

The location is excellent, within 1 kilometer of major attractions, and surrounded by numerous restaurants, cafes, small supermarkets, and a wet market. There's a spa on the ground floor, and the lobby is on the second floor (requires climbing stairs), with an elevator above. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, with a washing machine and clothes rack, but no laundry detergent was provided. Toiletries were plentiful but basic. The air conditioning worked well. The hotel staff were friendly, but due to the language barrier, there wasn't much interaction.

We had a nice stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly! thank you Moon, Edward, Huan, and the kitchen team as well! We stayed a total of 7 days: 6 nights in a room with windows and two separate beds, and one night in a standard room. The standard room has an inside window and can be a bit noisy. The cleaning wasn’t equally thorough every day, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was good, though a little early if you’re a late sleeper. Greetings from the ladies from Amsterdam 😊
