I stayed here 6 nights in Hanoi first in the standard room then the belcony room. The service of staff is friendly enough. The rooms are quite nice although alittle old. The belcony room gets alittle street noise in the mornings early. The location is quite good a 20 minute walk to the old quarter. There is plenty of nice food around. I would stay again happily.

The staff are very nice, the room is clean and comfotable. I have great time in this hotel. Very convenient location in old quarter....budget friendly...receptionist ms.lieu and owner mr. When picking a hotel in Hanoi we were not sure about what to expect or who to go with as it was our first time in Vietnam! I have stayed in hotels in Australia, Italy, Dubai and many more but the Minerva Hotel is up there with one of the best! The rooms are cleaned to perfection and lovely white linen! They are spotless! The rooms are big and you get complementary tea, coffee and water. The breakfast is amazing with something to cater to all tastes. The location is also perfect as it is in a safe area within close walking distance to all attractions! However, the best part about the Minerva is the lovely staff who cater to your every whim and go out of there way to be thoughtful and just be as helpful as they can to you as a first time visitor in Vietnam! They helped us organise transport, food deliveries and also brought us to a shop to get our SIM card changed which was extremely extremely helpful! They could not be more helpful if they tried! I genuinely mean it by saying the Minerva Premium should be the only place you choose to stay in Hanoi it was exceptional! Thank you so much Minerva! from, Megan

The hotel was located on the main street, so there were many restaurants, marts, and coffee shops. The exterior was decorated splendidly. The hotel room was clean, and the bathroom was clean. This hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Hanoi Old Quarter. Right downstairs there is a famous goose pho shop, and 3 min walk away there is one of the best banh mi shops (Banhmi LongHoi is the name of the shop) Staff were also very helpful. They called taxis for us, helped us translate food orders, and even told us where to go for a good rate on currency exchange (even though they do currency exchange themselves!) If I could subtract half a point for cleanliness, I would, but, come on, you’re in the middle of the old quarter, it’s gonna be a little dirty. Overall great hotel for a great price.

Very nice boutique hotel in the middle of the Old quarter near shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to help you as needed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Great air conditioning. Breakfast was very good and a lot of choices. It is buffet style and you can also order different foods like Pho, banana pancake, Vietnamese egg rolls and so much more.

This is a small family-owned hotel. We reserved a room with two beds, but were initially offered one with a one bed. We had to ask for a room change, which may have often happened from reviews of other people. The two-bed room was somewhat large and clean. Amenities were basic. Bathroom was a bit challenging: we did not dare take a shower, but my child did and said it was okay. Toilet had no problem. Hot water was readily accessible. Breakfast was personally cooked and nicely done with egg, buttered bread, and some vegetables (tea was nice). The family seems to raise a herd of chickens. Very early in the morning after perhaps 6 AM or even before, a rooster crowed for about two hours every 30 second, and we had to be up. Well, it is nature and I have no complaint about this. The hotel views a big open field where the chicken herd as well as horses was enjoying the meal. Best part was that we were able to walk to the hotel and took about 15 minutes from the international terminal, although it was a bit treacherous along the way. Getting across a wide street without any signal was a challenge, like any other in Vietnam. It was okay after we got used to it. Nothing much around the hotel. The Hanoi Airport, unlike Saigon, has really nothing in the neighborhood. I think for one night, this hotel may be okay esp. for early flights.

DdexxieI recently stayed at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung for one night, and honestly, it wasn't enough! Hotel Property: 1. The hotel's location is great. It's right in the middle of Hanoi's Old Quarter, so you can easily walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the lively atmosphere. 2. What's cool is that the hotel is only two months old and it looks amazing. The rooms are a good size, and the modern design is Instagram-worthy. It's pretty impressive they even squeezed in a pool in the middle of the tight Old Quarter spaces. Service 1. We got to the hotel really early from Sapa, and our rooms weren't ready, but Mr. VP at the front desk was super nice. He went out of his way to arrange a shower for us. It was a real help to get us cleaned up from the long train ride. 2. I accidentally booked a room for 3 persons when there was only 2 of us. Mr.VP immediately noticed it and upgraded us to a junior suite without us knowing. That was a pleasant surprise and definitely made our day. The Not-So-Great Stuff: There were a couple of small issues that could have made the overall experience even better. 1. We asked for more water and ice around 9 pm, but they never brought it. Eventually, we went out and buy water, and reminded the front desk to send some ice to the room. But even after reminding the front desk personally, no ice came all night. 2. Food at breakfast was good, but the service could he better. When we wanted to sit by the window, the server insisted that we sit at another table. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her that we prefer to sit by the window. She then cleared our table quite unwillingly. She just changed the cutlery but did not replace the used placemats. We didn't bother her after that as she seemed annoyed. But despite these minor hiccups, I'd definitely recommend La Siesta Classic Hang Thung to anyone looking for a great stay in Hanoi. It's a lovely place with pretty and clean rooms and lovely front desk staff.

Great shower and the air conditioning worked wonderfully well. Well situated in the old quarter and so easy to walk to the lake, restaurants, coffee shops and Beer Street. Great rooftop bar and the Red Bean restaurant on thr ground floor very good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We stayed here overall 8 nights in total.

JJustincchongPerfect stay at Mina Hotel & Spa! I stayed for the weekend and found this hotel to be well maintained, warm and friendly. I love how every staff tries to be friendly and get to know their guest. Likewise, I feel at ease when return to the hotel every night. I got the premier room on the 5th floor and it had a nice view of surrounding buildings. The room has adequate amenities - including soap and shampoo, toiletries, kettle and coffee making equipment. While the bed was abit hard, it was comfortable and clean. Pillows were comfy, but sadly only 2 were provided. There was a large flat screen TV with Netflix pre-installed and a nice curtain that made waking up in the mornings, enjoyable. The toilet could have been better designed as there was no shower curtain of divider between the bath tub and the main area, making bathing a mess. The hotel also serves breakfast in the morning - but I found it to be a tad underwhelming - though I understand the hotel may not receive many guest. Included in the breakfast is an egg station, pho / porridge station, stir fried foods, fruits and basic breads. Coffee and Tea was also provided, but it was fairly basic. Nevertheless, the service made up the lack of good breakfast - staffs try their best for make your breakfast a comfortable experience. I don't remember the names, but I'd like to thank the staffs (between 23/9-25/9) that made my stay a wonderful one. Location wise, Mina Hotel & Spa is well located amidst the hustling streets, and at the end of beer street, with 5-10mins walking to the lake. It's also located near a bunch of street foods, which makes this hotel a perfect place to stay, wander and eat your way through hanoi. I also tried the Spa and found it to be professional, extremely clean and it's service, exceptional. I got the VIP Combo 1, which included a facial, hair wash, foot soak and a body massage. While I particularly enjoyed the facial and hair wash, the massage was average and not strong. The masseuse had slightly long fingernails, which felt a tad uncomfortable during the massage. Nevertheless, the facial and hair wash was exceptional and left me feeling fresh and alive. Overall, Mina Hotel & Spa will be a hotel that I'll visit again when I come to hanoi again. It's fair to say despite its inconveniences, it's warm hospitality and personal touch to its guests makes up for it.

I also liked how it is near a lot of mini stores where I can go pick up things that I need. Owner is very nice and loans me things that I needed. She is very respectful to me calling me sir. Hotel maid was very friendly to be around. I like how there was a portable convection stove for me to cook things with. I like how there were silverware, chopsticks, and dishes that I can use to eat my food with. Very good deal to use the washer where it only costs 20,000 dong for the first time and free for additional uses. I liked how it was near that big Winmart grocery store. Hotel room was very clean. I liked how it had this small space where I can hang my clothes up to dry which was perfect because it was directly underneath the air conditioning unit of the room upstairs where it gives off the heat which dries it faster. Hotel always has a fresh clean set of towels available whenever I need it. Hotel always has toilet paper available whenever I need it. The only thing that I didn't like was that now and then, there are spiders, where I had to kill 2 of them. I also had to deal with a big spider on my last day. I am somebody that has a fear of spiders. I might comeback to this hotel in August, September, or beginning of next year when I comeback towards Hanoi in Vietnam and the situation fits for me.

PPengguna TetamuRatings are always based on personal standards and judging criteria. For this, I am coming from the angle of a cheap airport hotel. This is the best airport hotel around Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, and at a decent price. Do not expect intercontinental buffet breakfast, business lounges and the likes. The room is pretty new, clean, functional, and large. Despite being close to the airport, you can barely hear anything from landing aircraft. Breakfast is simple at best, and staff seem to be still in 'training', with only Brian being the 'boss'. Rooftop pool doesn't look well maintained, and the entertainment room has been abandoned totally altogether, with the foosball and billiard table left to collect dust while it has become a storage and parking area. But hey, its an airport hotel. Purpose is to have people sleep for 1 night before leaving prompto. It is situated in a pretty rural area so don't expect any established eateries or convenience stores nearby. Think roadside hawkers and home-run provision shops. In conclusion, best airport hotel near Hanoi Noi Bai Airport.

It’s a fab location with Hoan Kiem lake well within walking distance, yet not right in the middle of the hectic old quarter so it’s possible to get a good night’s sleep (our room didn’t have a window, so unsure if this is true for rooms with window). Beds were changed every day and also clean towels daily however other amenities like toilet paper, shampoo, bodywash etc weren’t topped up during our stay. Cons: We arrived after the advertised check in time and our room wasn’t ready which wasn’t ideal after 17 hours of flights, however also understandable that sometimes other guests check out late. I think because of this they rushed to get the room ready which meant it wasn’t completely clean e.g hair on the floor, fingerprints on the mirrors/glass. Our TV didn’t work, the wifi was very slow during our stay, and the shower ran cold for the first 2 days which to be fair was fine considering how hot it was. Booking.com still states that breakfast is available here but nothing was mentioned to us about breakfast, and it’s worth noting that the photos used by the property definitely aren’t accurate. The property is nice, but not like the photos. Our room was windowless which I cant remember whether this was mentioned when booking. We didn’t complain as we 1) were very tired from the travelling, and 2) felt that it was a case of you get what you pay for (budget room/hotel). However I felt considering the high score the property has on booking.com and on here, it was important to leave a more accurate image of the property. Overall I would recommend for budget travellers, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for

Michael, the owner, was immediately welcoming and helped us book trips around the best sites in North Vietnam and gave us brilliant recommendations for food spots in the Old Quarter. The hotel could not be located more ideally. The huon kiem lake is a 4 minute walk away and the alley in which the hotel sits is famous for its pho and other delicious foods. Another point is that the airline lost my bag and the staff at the hotel ensured that they took delivery of it when the airline delivered it the next day. We also landed on Hanoi in the morning so arrived at the hotel more than 2 hours before check in time. Michael greeted us with iced jasmine tea and invited us to go to our rooms to rest at no extra charge. As the hotel is 40 metres down an alley off a main street, the hotel is nice and quiet and you are guaranteed a peaceful night's rest. I have to say the bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in, the AC is great and there's even cable TV in each room!! If you are planning a visit to Hanoi, must stay here. We paid £14-£15 per night (2 of us), and a bunk bed in a hostel would be £5 so it's AMAZING value.

The bed is so clean, and the washroom is equipped with everything in it. By the way, sitting at the receptionist, I saw how they treated the other client, that's what we call customer service.

PPengguna TetamuIt was pretty good experience for me. Because they have a coffee shop upstair which run by young people of Hanoi, very nice people. Without booking this hotel, i would never knew them. The people here are warm, also if you are tourist, you need to aware that the front main door of the hotel is closed before mid night. I think which is cool somehow with proper security but the disadvantage is you can't come back hotel anytime, altought you can, it very bad feeling to wake the security guy up everytime. the price is very suitable and its on the way to High way and town, great location not so far from town and not so close.
