This made for peaceful nights, ensuring a restful sleep in a safe environment. The hostel is run by a delightful couple whose hospitality knew no bounds. They were not only eager to assist with any issues that arose but also went above and beyond by providing bicycles. This thoughtful touch significantly enhanced my mobility around Houston, allowing me to reach various destinations swiftly. What set this hostel apart was the attention to detail and the array of complimentary amenities, including cookies, milk, cereal, coffee, and tea. The cleanliness and smart technology throughout the house contributed to a seamless stay, making it the best hostel experience I've ever had. The bathroom towels folded into swan shapes were a testament to the owners' dedication to detail, adding a touch of elegance and care. The warmth of the place was akin to being at home, with the owners always ready for a chat, eager to answer questions, and share their stories and experiences. A highlight for me was the world map on the living room wall, where guests could pin their home countries—a fun and interactive way to connect with fellow travelers. The staff was phenomenal to deal with. Everyone was very kind and very professional. The rooms were clean and roomy. Can’t say enough good things about this place for business. Just on the outskirts of downtown, which I prefer. 10/10. Amy, the General Manager, was very accommodating with my Overnight UPS package. I checked for the package multiple times throughout the morning, when it finally delivered - she sought me out and hand delivered it to me. Front desk staff was great all week as well. Great place for business. Amy, if you see this - thanks for a great experience. You have a great staff. Front desk was always welcoming.
