Absolutely wonderful service from Liza (was her 1st and 2nd shift when I was there) considering she was brand new to the job she was fantastic welcoming, chatty and always with a smile on her face, even when she looked to be solo on the breakfast shift! We had a lovely chat about what to do in the area and which places to definitely visit. My room was amazing other then the hand soap was empty. Comfy bed as usual! I had an amazing stay I wish it was longer! I hope liza goes far in the premire inn company she definitely made my stay. Thank you for a lovely stay, see you again soon!

Unfortunately the 3 of the 4 rooms we booked were absolutely freezing! The heating hardly gave and heat out and it was so noisy we couldn’t sleep with it on all night. I’ve never had to complain before at a Premier inn and was told the next morning to speak to customers services on the number they gave me. Customer services were not interested at all as we didn’t complain in the middle of the night about it being cold and the heating not working properly. I find this very poor as complaining at 3am is not the top of my list when we’d been out celebrating a friends 50th birthday. I just put some clothes on and got back in bed and dealt with it the next morning. That’s when I found out 3 of the 4 rooms were the same, the 4th room was on another floor. We were in the basement on the lower ground floor. I’ve stayed at this location before and didn’t have any problems but was told by staff if we stayed again to ask not to be on the lower ground floor. Customer services were a joke, all they offered was an apology as I should have dealt with this at 3am in their eyes, like I’ve said this is not something I would do and obviously never expected I would need to. I thought bringing it up the next morning was more than enough.

Great location and can be booked at a very good price if you avoid the big events. Can offer exceptional value for money. Just be flexible and there are great deals to be had. Within easy walking distance of the town centre for shops, bars & restaurants.

Staff friendly and helpful Some money needs spending on renovation mould starting to show on bathroom ceiling, shower tamped up but still leaked, shower head holes had black mould in some, damaged plasterwork in corridors not properly repaired, front doors did not working, lock on stairs not working - breakfast ok - sausages not cooked properly, but otherwise satisfactory. Location is brilliant and we will probably stay again, bug expect more from Premier inn brand

Awful hotel. Rude staff. Hotel bar area a mess chairs all ripped and broken. and freezing due to front doors being broken. Will not return to this hotel in the future. Staff dressed like they are on a night out. Room ok but others in our group had issues all weekend.
