The hotel did the best that they could but unfortunately there was a bug problem and whenever I turned on the lights many bugs would land on the bed because they were attracted to the surface. The hotel changed my room but the same problem was there so I had to keep the lights off which was very inconvenient. The staff was very kind and I appreciate the efforts they made.

Hotel was located about 15-20 mins walk away from Hekou/Lao Cai border. General cleanliness was there however, the room and lift reeks of cigarettes as the hotel allowed smoking in the rooms and although I requested for a non-smoking room, there were still cigarette scents everywhere in the room. Aside from that, basic amenities were provided and check in process was very quick.

The Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. 9 points out of ten for cleanliness.

The hotel is in walkable distance (about 10-15 minutes) from the Hekou / Lao Cai foot passenger border crossing. All parts of the hotels are very clean, including corridor, room and bathroom / toilet. The beds are very good, there is enough place in the room. The commercial center of Hekou is only a few minutes walk away, there can you find food stalls, restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel itself does not provide any kind of food. A taxi to the railway station Hekou North is about 25 -30 CNY and takes about 15 minutes. The hotel can order a taxi. I can recommend this hotel.

Only a few minutes from the border. Very good location, lots of shops nearby. Apartment was clean and everything was fine. A small fridge would have been nice. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to use one in the house. Nevertheless, I would recommend the hotel.

The stay was all good but the bottled water provided within the room likely had been filled up with tap water. I became so sick when consuming it on the train. I only drank water that day. And after being so sick (vomiting and becoming super sweaty) it only became worse as I drank more of that bottled water.

Very nice and clean hotel, near the border crossing (5min by walk) and 10minutes to Hekou train station. The staff was friendly but doesn't speak English...

The location is close to the border. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Room was spacious. Great value

Walking distance from the border. Big room . Clean. Value for money. Had a good traditional massage rmb68/1hr ( 3~4 minutes walk from hotel) .
