Most lovely and cozy hotel in Helsinki by my opinion! Rooms are clean and fresh, best view from window compared to price! They have a kitchen where you can find anything you need to make food, also tea, coffee and even cookies. Everything is themed in old Finland house way, feels like a home also personal is super sweet and helpful.And I can’t forget about the view from balcony 🤤 highly recommended 10/10💌

Cleanliness: very clean room and good size for couple stay
Location: Central and strategic. We arrived from airport by train and hotel just next to it. Easy access to public transport as the main bus station is just right in front, walking distance to most of the main attractions within Helsinki.
Service: The Q is very long during check in hour ard 3pm. There is no Conceirge service, only room to store your luggage at your own risk. No tagging of luggage, just self service to leave in the room. Front desk didn’t issue breakfast vouchers to me upon check in. I only noticed that I missed the breakfast during my stay end of the trip.

Small room especially toliet only allowed one person to stay inside. Room looked new but mold was found on the side of the wash basin and the exhaust fan. Easy to hurt your legs and get bruised when you got out of bed because there was a wooden slats around the bed. No luggage rack; thus, the luggage could only be opened by placing it on the floor. The privacy at wellness center was poor. The female changing room door could directly go to the wellness centre but No screen between the changing room door and the wellness center. When you were changing your clothes, anyone in the wellness center could look clearly what you are doing in the changing room. The water in the hot tub was not hot enough. It was difficult to contact reception by phone because no one answered the phone at any time.

Marski by Scandic is located very near to the Central Railway Station. There are many sightseeing spots within walking distance to the hotel as well. Our rooms were in another building attached by a glass covered bridge and the nostalgic lift will make you feel like you are in a movie. The King and Family rooms are spacious for 2 and 3 persons respectively, and the breakfast spread is SPECTACULAR!! Don't take my word, go try it yourselves!!

Location is perfect. Walking distance to major attractions and relatively close to railway and bus terminals. Personnel are friendly and things go smoothly. My room had lot of space and it was cozy. Breakfast standard Finnish style hotel breakfast. I recommend this hotel to many type of travellers.

Very affordable, clean, safe and quiet sp**** rooms in a convenient location. Bare minimum rooms are fine. Most of the travellers are university age so showers and breakfast before 8:30 am works well if you can wake before them. Sauna as well. The rooms are thoughtfully sealed and really soundproofed well and I heard nothing outside my room. Staff is helpful and courteous. Well run in general. Breakfast is fair, but so cheap, I cannot complain. If you book ahead of time through a third party you will be offered a discount if you avoid paying for breakfast in advance for breakfast. IKEA meatballs and scrambled eggs with peas and watered down coffee - but at this price no complaints. Lots of green initiatives too. I respect this place’s owners. Much less waste than an expensive hotel.

This is a great addition to the Helsinki Scandic range, converting an old building into a stunning new hotel. It is pretty big (over 300 rooms) but there is enough space for everything to happen. Rooms are lovely and well designed. Rooms sizes and shapes vary because of the building conversion. Some have baths. The superior rooms are all gorgeous and face the church square. Everything in the room worked well and internal noise insulation was excellent. Good air-con and free wi-fi. Blackout curtains were efficient and lighting very well managed. Breakfast is in a vast but multi-roomed area with some seating outside in the atrium. Nothing was missing from the buffet and despite the number of guests it all worked well with plenty of seating. The location of the hotel is also good, very central, 5 minutes’ walk from the Kamppi shopping centre (and metro) and 3 minutes’ walk from tram stops.

Excellent and punctual shuttle-service between hotel&airport. comfortable&affordable overnight stay in a very clean and compact room. All facilities incl. Excellent breakfast buffet. Small drawback : checked in around 11pm and only 1 staff at the check-in counter, who was also responsible for the bar. Took a while to get a beer as more customers had arrived on the next shuttle. Very friendly (and patient) staff by the way ... but a second staff would have been very helpfull.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is located very close to the central station with many restaurants and cafes in the surroundings. The facilities are very new and clean. However the rooms are not quite like the pictures, the standard double room we booked is so small that we can only open one luggage at a time and we ended upgrading to another room type. It's not a big difference in terms of money but we feel scammed and the perception isn't great.
Another thing when we tried to use the sauna their staff told us we needed to pay for it and book a session in advance (at least two hours in advance I believe), which no one mentioned before not even when we check-in nor printed anywhere in the hotel.
Overall the hardware is og high quality and I'm quite happy with it, however, the software in terms of service and communication has plenty of room to grow.

HheidiOverall, my recent stay with Bob W was disappointing.
I booked the 4-person penthouse room primarily for the use of the sauna on my last day of the trip.
Firstly, pin code provided was only valid for door access to the stairs, not door to the elevator side at night. This became a significant inconvenience, especially for a female traveler like myself who arrived at night after a tiring flight. Having to carry a 20kg luggage and a 10kg carry-on up five flights of stairs was both physically demanding and frustrating. Clear arrangements on how to access the elevator at night should have been considered for guest.
Secondly, check-in process was not clearly communicated, causing panic upon arrival. Unfortunately, I had to seek help from customer service on a third-party booking site and reach out via email to obtain a check-in link, which added unnecessary stress and confusion.
Furthermore, instruction for turning on the sauna were unclear, and I was unable to enjoy it until the next morning at 8am, just few hours before my checkout time. I had specifically chosen the penthouse room with the sauna for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. due to the lack of clear instructions, and had to seek assistance to figure out how to operate it properly, which ate into the limited time I had available to enjoy the amenity.
In conclusion, my stay with Bob W fell short of my expectations. The limited time to enjoy the amenities, issues during the check-in process and accessing the elevator, made for a less than satisfactory experience. I hope that Bob W seriously takes feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for travelers in the future. Thank you

However, I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get the room with a view and a bathtub, despite requesting them during booking. The breakfast offered a variety of choices and was located on the 10th floor with a beautiful view and a roof terrace, allowing for a panoramic city view. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall, making it convenient to access shops, restaurants, and the metro station. I enjoyed the sauna and the quality of the provided shampoo, body gel, and conditioner. However, there is no gym and indoor swimming pool for a workout and exercise. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'll likely come back for the next trip. =)

CCrystal MarieThis place hands down is an absolutely unique experience on its own, to voluntarily stay in a prison haha. The staff was extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful with any requests we had. We were staying there to celebrate New Year's Eve and they recommend it lots of great places to go. The hotel/ prison itself was amazing just to be in. The restaurant downstairs had exceptional food for dinner and breakfast. Will definitely stay longer on our next vacation. The hotel is within walking distance to the center of the city as well as the Capitol building. The location is perfect if you want to celebrate New Year's Eve festivities which are held in the plaza outside of the Capitol building. Unforgettable time!

Because all Ateliers Studios (33 m2) were sold out, we were ”upgraded” to Grand Atelier Studio (42 m2) which was two separate smaller studios with keycard locked doors. These rooms can be sold separately as the two cheapest room categories. I wonder who is willing to pay 400 euros for this very impractical room. We paid 213 euros for the Atelier Studio. We were missing also the sea view the four Atelier Studios would have had. The hotel compensated for all the inconvenience with a bottle of high-quality white wine (bar price 75 euros).

They don't provide slippers and electric kettle for standard room. Meaning to say, they only provide service based on room size ! Such a basic requirement, request guest to pay extra cost for kettle !
Very ridiculous and disappointed. The standard room per night I booked is not cheap too !
First time encountered this problem! Anyway, there are many good location hotels nearby. So Scandi Simonketta is not a best. don't even provide a customer service provider.
This is my first and last with very bad experience.
Never book Scandi Simonketta again ! Thanks

KKK ~Overall really nice and centrally located hotel. Close to the main railway station. All floors have different themes related to Finnish nature (Winter storm, Midsummer, Fairytale forest, Sisu, Tranquility) and the front desk let us choose between a couple of themes. We weren't sure what they were going to be like, but chose Fairytale forest, which was ok.
The room was a bit on the small side and with a view to an inner courtyard - however this was to be expected with the room type. The room was really quiet, which was a bonus in the middle of the city! Breakfast was nice, mostly European style with breads etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel for the central location and Finnish style, if you want to experience that.

I thought, well sounds good, hotel with your own bed, bathrooms shared ,how bad could it be. It was the typical grey and icy Finland experience everyone imagines .Well, I marched over to the hostel from the airport, at night with my google maps, so somehow I found it. I wouldn’t advise any females doing this at that time. It’s practically walking out of the arrival hall, past the finavia pilot building (right side) then straight ahead, left continue past the parking lot and the traffic light left again and after the bridge 200 meters right. The code they sent me reliably worked but the room was a joke. There is no reception, nobody to help in case something goes wrong. It didn’t, fortunately. Back to the room : Maybe 10m2. 1 coffee machine and a hot water kettle but not even 1 miserable pack of instant coffee for 85$? Not even the bed was made, you arrive and make it. Worse than a gulag. Same atmosphere by the way. Ice cold outside. The showers were dirty, the bathroom clean, I wouldn’t ever come back. I guess sleeping at the airport is still more fun than on this 80 cm x 180 cm bed. Not kidding. I liked the view onto trees and ice, something new for me, being 300 days a year at tropical beaches …
