Stella Village Seaside Hotel

I am in love with this hotel and its staff. They are wonderful people with a kind soul. The first time I came with a friend in 2023 and we cried when our exciting vacation in Stella Village ended. This year I brought my parents on vacation. I was very happy to meet ‍♀️Lindita again - a very nice and pretty girl. Very attentive and responsive. She brought me to my senses when I fainted, and was with me until I felt better. Ledian is a wonderful guy who works immediately. He will always advise you to try something new in terms of food. ‍♂️ Temour is a very nice and smiling guy at the bar, with whom my family and I have the same views on some things. And, the most important person, for whose discos we travel from another country for the second year in a row - DJ SPIROS !!! This is a unique and inimitable guy who with his sets will create for you not only the most pleasant atmosphere for the evening, but also set a great mood for the entire vacation! Customer focus at the highest level! We had a blast! The whole family thanks you for your support and care, for the pleasant emotions and moments spent in Stella Village.✨

This was our third visit previous in 2018 and it’s only got better! Amazing customer service - waitress/waiters/lifeguard/cleaners/barman/reception/animation team and kids club. This is what makes this resort for me 100% as they are just so friendly and happy to help - you just don’t get that everywhere and we have travelled a lot! My children are aged 2,7 and 9. Waterpark is a huge win! Maybe biggest in Crete plus onsite at the hotel. In addition to a number of pools and there are 5 extreme slides which you need to be 140cm in height, the next 4/5 slides you need to be 120cm all others you can access. Plenty to do for our children. Kids club aged 4 plus 10-12pm and 3-6pm and stay and play 1-3pm if looking for some shade. Cleanliness - again 10/10 rooms, pools and restaurants as well as toilets all very well cleaned. Food is probably 8/10 for adults and 10/10 for children. Generally food was very good at lunch and dinner and deserts/fruit also very delicious - you use an app for the other restaurants and very easy to use alternatively book at reception. The beach is just opposite the hotel in a calm bay not too deep and safe for everyone to swim. Collect clean towels everyday. There are activities in the day such as water polo -well organised by the animation team. They really do work so hard and make the entertainment lots of fun. There is a little train you can take on 1.5 hour journey up to the local town. In the evening there is a mini disco 8.30pm and entertainment also very good, including fireworks, Greek night, acrobatics and a pool party! Little shop on site and reasonably priced for inflatables, souvenirs and swimwear. I would recommend this hotel to any family- such a lovely holiday.

From the moment i checked in to the moment i checked out, it never disappointed. Everytime you left your room and came back there was always a fresh, cleaned room awaiting you. The staff were helpful and all smiles, the food couldnt be topped. The location is great, you only need to walk across the road to get to the prettiest beach i had ever seen. The slides were fun and thrilling. The airport is only a 15 minute drive away from the hotel. Its right next to a huge village full of shops. I have loads of souvenirs thanks to it. Plenty of bars and resturaunts near it. The salt-water pool didnt impress me but i am quite picky. I was left stunned every evening by the extraordinary entertainment. Overall. Great stay i would recommend!

As a couple we found the hotel very remote, nothing near by, rooms ok, staff are lovely, had a few issues with the food, found hair more than once in the food, entertainment not much going on, cannot use all facilities if not upgraded to a silver room, would not revisit, quite disappointed as first holiday away as a couple

we booked this holiday as a bit of a budget break. £1700 for a week for the three of us. I have to say the whole village is a bit budgety. A collection of disjointed accommodation with some sporadic bits and pieces thrown in, clearly some other studios and bars have been bought and incorporated to allow expansion. The things I go on holiday for are the food, the drink, comfort, the pools and the service with a little bit of entertainment. The food is average at best with limited choice and a lack of variety, any more than a week and I would have really struggled, and the over use of salt in the dishes is just OTT. The drinks selection is good on paper but so many things are overly acidic and other things are just simply cheap tasting and lack any quality (but I didnt expect much with all inclusive I suppose) the service is so so, depends on who you see and what mood they are in. the room we stayed in was ok, very rough around the edges and in need of renovation. the pools are quite chilly but we were at the end of the season so no ones fault and still quite nice. One thing that is unforgivable is theft from our room, which can only have been done by staff. My wife had clothes stolen from a cupboard, and it was her travelling home outfit. We realised on the last day and immediately informed reception, we were told that they could have got mixed up with the laundry but it does seem doubtful, as I say they were in a cupboard, also the clothes were black and red in comparison to the white laundry. Never have my wife or I had to keep track of clothes in a cupboard, we do check valuables like watches and jewellery, but why should any one have to keep an eye on clothes. A gentleman at reception did take my wifes details and said that we would be contacted as they will turn up and be sent back to us. I have no reason to believe we will hear from him at all. Whats more it doesnt seem like this is an isolated incident. Looking on Facebook it seems that items go missing quite regularly (trainers, headphones etc been mentioned in posts). If you go then please beware and maybe live out of a padlocked suitcase

We visited Stella Village between October 28th and November 4th 2024. This hotel has been brilliant. Rooms We stayed in 246 & 247. The rooms were basic but clean. Bedding and towels were changed each day. We didn't have a kettle in either room but I spoke with reception and within 10 minutes one was delivered. Showers were great in the room. Very large shower head and the water gets very hot. Soaps and shower gels were provided. We also had 3 bottles of water in our room every day. Pools We had access to numerous pools. The pools around the bar area were always nice and quiet and very relaxing. We never struggled to get a bed or deck chair. We spent most of our time in the waterpark. Once again we never struggled to get deck chairs in the waterpark but they weren't always in the most ideal of places. Our kids loved the slides. At times it could be a wait for the double inflatables for the slides but not too much of an inconvenience. Food & drink We only ate at the waterpark and main restaurant. We could have eaten at the Mediterra but we couldn't get a booking after a couple of days of being here. The food at the restaurant was very good. Plenty of choice for everyone. My family never struggled to eat. The food at the waterpark was also very good. Burgers, gyros and plenty of salads. My only criticism is We feel like the evening meal could start a little earlier. 18.30 was quite late for us. We found the soft drinks to taste very cheap. The coke especially. Beers and wines were a local brand. We had a few cocktails and the measurements were very favourable. Spa My wife and I used the spa. We had the hot lava full body massage and it was amazing. Definitely on the more expensive side costing €280 for both of us but in my eyes it was well worth the cost. We also got access to the facilities at the spa. It was the best massage I've ever had. Entertainment They had a full entertainment programme including day time activities and evening shows. The smaller kids had a film and mini disco and every night had a live show. We especially liked the magic and aerobatics show. Same situation as the meals we felt like it started a little late. The mini disco was at around 20.30 and the show at 21.00. Staff The staff are a credit to this hotel. Every member of staff was always helpful. Bar staff at the pool, maids, restaurant staff and staff at reception. All of them were always happy and made the stay. Overall this is a great family hotel. We probably visited the last viable week as we saw the last entertainment show, some items were becoming harder to get hold of ( English breakfast tea and sauce on the ice creams) and the weather was dropping below 20 as we were leaving. We all enjoyed our stay here.
