Ulasan California Hotel Saigon

This hotel is in the best location, so close to the Ben Tanh market, post office and cathedral. The pool was great, breakfast was great and room was comfortable (no window though) However, once we arrived at the hotel we were told we had to pay more for our room than what we had already paid through Trip.com. Was not really given a reason why so I am left a bit confused. But after a long day of international travel we decided to pay the extra and deal with it. Overall our stay was great, but I would have appreciated a heads up before our arrival that we would need to pay more to stay there.

Clean and very tidy hotel.Reason I stayed here is because it is close to my meeting area.Overall, this hotel is nice to stay.

Lock up your valuables at the California Hotel! Cash was taken from inside my luggage. The hotel was at fault as they checked me into the wrong room. The safety deposit box didn't work, and they cleaned the room unexpectedly while I was out. The desk staff fobbed me off for a day, and I had to insist on speaking with the manager the next day. They kept me waiting for 90 minutes in the lobby and when the manager appeared, she hadn't been informed about the theft. Wasted more time explaining the problem and no responsibility or remedy was found. Only half of my cash was taken, typical for a hotel theft - I guess the thief was hoping not to be discovered. Saw the police in the lobby the next day with another guest so I suspect the hotel has a problem. Included pics of the broken safe and the police in the lobby. The showers are bad - they are above a bath and the pipe is not long enough, so you have to crouch over and the breakfast is bad. Good location though. The song 'Hotel California' is permanently ruined for me after staying here! 'Last thing I remember, I was Running for the door I had to find the passage back To the place I was before'

Staff not friendly, not able to use pool due to workmen everywhere

Good location to stay and room very clean.same issues on heater,during shower time unable to control water temperature.hot water all the time.

The hotel location was good and convenient, it take about 5 minutes to the Ben Thanh Market, the service was excellent, keep it up

I Liked it. Clean tidy and the suite they gave us was an excellent size. The pool was nice (although I recommend they turn the filter on more often) but the staff were great and the breakfast was delicious.

Food around the vicinity is not an issue as a wide selection is present. District 1 area is most convenient. No shaver in this hotel though.

Location was good. Staff was helpful
