From Check In to Check Out, the experience was seamless. Fantastic accommodating staff, large, practical and comfortable room. The best bath robes of any hotel anywhere on the planet. Definitely did not disappoint! Love the rooms, the location, the dining, the breakfast!
Everything is located within walking distance of the hotel. Car valet available for $35/day. Conveniently stop outside hotel. However be warned that during peak timings you might have to keep circling the area just to wait for a parking space to stop.
We had a 2 queen size bedroom for 3 pax. Lovely amenities and excellent room service.
Reception was so helpful and so friendly. Shout out especially to Chloe!
Really can't praise this hotel enough! Will definitely stay again!

The Bay Apartments are a good value but simple place to stay in Hobart. We stayed here for 1 night this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean but small. It had an overpowering smell of cleaning products when we arrived but this dispersed during our stay. The bathroom is a traditional shower-over-bath, and there is a small living area and flat screen TV. There is a small cooktop and sink, and a bar fridge. The apartments are a short walk to a large range of restaurants, a Woolworths and a Cole. There is also a pub (almost) next door. It is a short drive to Hobart CBD and there are public buses out the front. We were apprehensive at first as it was quite noisy (noise from other guests and from the road), but this didn’t affect our sleep quality. There is parking outside the unit and one reverse cycle aircon unit in the living area. Don’t expect a fancy property- this is a basic but well presented unit at an affordable price point, not a $300/nt property. If you set your expectations correctly this is a very good property. The stairways to the upstairs appartments are very narrow and it is difficult to carry large cases up and down. I’d stay here again if looking for a basic stay in Hobart, but probably not for multiple nights.

Little bit dated. Booked through Qantas Hotels and somehow was upgraded. ( No requested room available? do not know.) Water shower deluge head is great. Plenty of towels washers etc. The body wash and shampoo bottles are squeeze to actuate, sounds simple doesn't it? Mattress very comfy. Pillow a little firm for me but I did have the choice of 5! You get a kettle and that's it. Fridge opens one way, cupboard door opens opposite way. Not user friendly. Mis mash of cups. No knife or fork. Had to book for a couple of nights the next week but was an extra 50 an night. Thought that was a bit unnecessary for a returning client booking the same room. We had two windy nights and the sliding door widows rattling was enough to keep you awake. Need to be wedged. Location to town. Excellent, walking distance.

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.

My two week stay at the Argyle Motor Lodge confirmed for me that this establishment is, in my opinion, the best value accomodation in Hobart. The lodge is conveniently located for access to downtown Hobart, the northern suburbs and the major highways. There is a thriving cafe and restaurant culture in Newtown and North Hobart that is very convenient to the lodge. The front of house staff and housekeeping were accomodating and helpful. In reception, Yvette was on point in assisting with bookings, facilities and local knowledge. A first class representative. Selena and her housekeeping team were courteous and efficient in maintaining my suite. Of particular note and not always the case in suites with kitchen facilities, used cutlery is replaced with clean, paper packaged utensils. I highly recommend the Argyle for short or longer term stays.

Basic room but very clean and well appointed. Very close proximity to all amenities of the cbd, uber eats was able to find us quickly and without hassle, also the establishment is very quiet of a night. The bed was comfortable and there was free Wi-Fi, for $85 a night, so close to everything and presented in this manner, I would happily recommend to anyone I know and will be staying again when we are down again. The only recommendation I have for the owners/managers is the shower cubicle itself is very small and I'm a tall guy and big build too, so moving around to shower was a bit hard but otherwise that's it. Thank you for a great stay, my partner and I will see you again on our next stay. 👍

We stayed at the Waterfront for 21 days, using it as a base for our road trip. We had two rooms between three of us, and the budget price couldn’t be beaten for this type of accommodation. The motel is of the old style but has been maintained quite well with bright and comfortable rooms. Room facilities are good, kitchenettes with toaster, microwave, plates and cutlery, plus a communal kitchen to use. The rooms and linen were very clean. We weren’t disturbed by any noise even when the motel was fully occupied(it’s very popular). The location is excellent. There is a bus stop just down the road, the 561 and 562 buses run on the hour and get you into Hobart central in about twenty minutes. A shopping centre with a Coles and other stores is a ten minute drive away. I enjoyed my stay, the staff were so pleasant and obliging. I would thoroughly recommend this motel.

Been twice now after getting a great room rate and well worth the stay with some great views (room location dependant).
Great choice of both casual inexpensive meals at the Boardwalk Bistro and the more upper class eateries.
Great amenities in one location. Our family recently had the pleasure of staying in the Tower Bay View Suite at Wrest Point Tower Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care and attention by the hotel staff. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The suite itself was immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The cleanliness was top-notch, which is always a significant factor when traveling with kids.
However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the unrestricted bay view from our suite. It was absolutely breathtaking and provided a serene backdrop to our stay. The kids were enthralled by the view, and it added an extra layer of magic to our vacation.
In conclusion, our stay at Wrest Point Tower Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of the stunning view, immaculate suite, and exceptional staff made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in the area.

The room needs some upgrading as it seems dated. Housekeeping cleared our rubbish the first day but did not on the 2nd. Overall, it was was a wonderful stay.

PPengguna TetamuThe Travellodge is a great place to stay as it close to the airport and a short drive to Sorell. The staff are friendly and the rooms are quite large, clean and tidy. Considering you are close to the airport and the main highway the rooms are lovely and quiet making your stay comfortable.

We had a room for the disabled and it was fantastic. Why can't every other motel I've had to stay in do a room like the Mayfair does for those in wheelchairs? The room was larger to accommodate a wheelchair and the bathroom was fitted out with a sink you could actually reach while seated, there were handholds around the shower which had a built-in seat (so important for those of us who can't stand in a shower) and bars around the toilet. I loved the overnight stay, and it was the first time I could have a shower without feeling fearful simply because of a seat in the cubicle and an extended handheld shower head. Not only was the room amazing, but the motel location was also brilliant with stores close by. The indoor garden was an added gift to a motel I'd definitely stay in whenever I'm in Hobart.

I was very happy with my stay here. Check-in was a little confusing as one checks-in at the old hotel, not where the accommodation is located, so there is a bit of a walk to find where to check-in. Room was huge and the shower was very spacious. The only complaint I will make as it looked like my room (13) may not have been vacuumed (corn chip under the bed and hair, which was not mine, on the floor near the bathroom.) I didn't see a hairdryer, but had brought my own anyway. I got the last car park and am not sure if the parking spots outside the rooms are designated car parking for the hotel guests, or if anyone is able to use them (there are a few other shops close by.)

KKeat AwStayed for 4 nights. Great that they had exclusive parking lots at the back of the B&B. Not exactly inside center of town, but easily walkable. Very endearing owner, John, who was more than happy to chat and share travel tips.
Wife and kids weren't too thrilled with bathrooms being outside of our rooms though.
apart from that, it was a pleasant stay, in a quaintly decorated B&B, comfortable beds and basic (self served) breakfast.

1. 入住前房東會很貼心的把入住訊息發到您郵箱裏，入住無人看管很便利，很適合i 人，而且這裏房東是中國人，語言溝通無障礙。
2. 這個青旅41個人的床位衹有2個洗衣機和2個烘乾機，我入住的期間衹有1個洗衣機（有一個洗衣機壞了而且洗衣機使用時間有限制），雖然説不上完全洗不上衣服，但是需要見縫插針洗衣服，咱都住青旅了這點困難我可以克服，然後！我發現烘乾機烘不乾衣服！因為洗不上衣服有一天我在衞生間洗了再放進烘乾機，烘了兩小時都沒幹。有一次是放在洗衣機洗了的衣服，時間緊迫，30分鐘烘乾2件衣服有1件沒有幹。提醒：儘量帶多幾套換洗，烘不幹還續住的可以放在床邊掛着，一晚上就幹了。還有就是青旅的洗衣液在大廳進來後的像格子一樣的架子上，不要像我一樣住了四天最後一天才發現洗衣液！😭
3.青旅衞生情況比很多青旅要好得多，特別床上用品和毛巾都很乾凈，睡覺方面很舒服，大家都會盡量保持安靜的睡眠環境。廁所和洗澡間的衞生程度都是可以容忍的範圍。大廳也打掃的很乾凈明亮，親眼看了每個公用水杯都會擦洗。
4.青旅工作人員對洗髮露、沐浴露、洗手液的補給很不及時，我覺得女生用這些本來就用得多，起碼每一天都要查看這些是否充足。但工作人員可能兩三天才去看一次。女生衞生間有兩個，除了第一天是沐浴露和洗髮露都有，第二天第一個隔間沒有洗髮露，第三天第二個隔間沒有沐浴露，第四天我就學聰明瞭，看看兩邊是否都有才去洗澡，然後！第一個隔間啥都沒有第二個隔間沒有沐浴露。並且第三天起女生洗手間的洗手液已經沒有了第四天也沒有補給上去。😓
5.安全性方面還是可以的，起碼把包放在過道不會有人隨意拿，而且放在冰箱的食物也不會被隨意拿走。起碼我的車釐子在那裡安全度過了三天。但是！我弄不懂為什麼我訂的女生區域專屬的酒店會有兩晚上有男生！雖然大部分女生，但是為什麼會有一兩個男生？我覺得這個是酒店的疏忽，但是男生們沒給我的睡眠帶來多大的困擾，我就沒投訴了，希望這方面有待改進。p.s.我聽到有其他住客女生和男生提醒説這個是女生區域，但是男生不知道説了啥，聽不清，然後他就住下了！
6.這個酒店沒有延遲退房的服務，但是攜程標註了可以延遲退房到當地2點和提早入住4小時（不知道提早入住服務是否存在），我就用了一點積分去兑換了服務，後來早上10點就要打掃衞生了，我出去玩了會，想回來睡個午覺再走，詢問酒店工作打掃人員，説沒有這個服務，10點已經清理完房間。我就向攜程反饋了這個問題，攜程很快給我處理了，以攜程方面賠償我部分金額結束了這個問題。但是這裏你還沒去機場的話可以把行李寄存在酒店，以我目前來看還是很安全的。
7.青旅大廳是澳洲正常的插座，睡覺的地方是僅USB的插頭，所以大家可以為了方便充電帶個USB插頭，沖的還挺快的。還有就是記得帶漱口杯、牙刷、牙膏、拖鞋。
住大家旅途愉快。

PPengguna TetamuA great 5 night stay in the center of Hobart. It exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable clean rooms, good bedding and with good internet access. Importantly one of the few hotels in Hobart with its own parking. It is limited so you have to make reservations prior to your arrival , but then your place is guaranteed. The $20 charge is very reasonable and you can come and go as you please knowing that you will be able to park. The location is hard to beat an easy walk to restaurants , pubs, shops , constitution dock and the Salimanca markets. On top of this the staff were pretty special and made our stay very pleasant. I followed some of their recommendations and was not disappointed. Good coffee comes to mind from one helpful lady when I asked. A stay in the center of Hobart does not come cheap, but I found their price for a stay very acceptable in comparison to other hotels. A glowing report to say the least , but they surprised me with the quality of our stay and helped us very much enjoy Hobart. Thoroughly recommended. Would stay again in a shot when revisiting Hobart. Our previous stay in Hobart was 44 years ago for our honeymoon. Thanks Allurity Pete and Claire

The room was clean, although showed signs of wear, age and perhaps some ‘abuse’. The bed was comfortable, the TV and aircon worked and the shower was good. Minimal otherwise. Furniture old and not in great repair, but okay. Tea/coffee UHT milk and a couple of mugs. No spoons etc. Location very good being no more than around 15 minute walk to anywhere in Hobart CBD. Very noisy due to being on a main road. Rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors and only reached by stairs. Reception open from 2.00 …. for a while. All locked up and only guests in the building at night. Publicity photos are very kind to the reality. But, definitely budget and generally 2.0 to 2.5 star and I had more to spend on the tourist stuff.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at a Imperial backpackers two years ago and was very keen to persuade my four friends to stay with me this time. Frustratingly, a bunch of little irritating things add up to a negative review, when actually Imperial backpackers should be a great place to stay. The kitchen is great, with lots of equipment and fridges and space for your food. The hot water in the bathrooms takes a while but it’s really hot when it does come through. Beds are comfy and the room had an efficient heater. And there’s a guy called John who is so helpful – he was a guest last time. I was there, but now he works for the organisation. All in all, it should be a five star place. However, in the past couple of years, I don’t think they’ve done much maintenance In our room, the locker doors were either locked shut or couldn’t be shut (and there was no place to put the padlock that the website suggested we bring!). Our flyscreens were also badly torn, while in our friends’ room across the hall, there were gaps at bottom and top of the windows, which let in both freezing blasts of winter air, and the hideous smell of cigarette smoke from directly beneath the windows. Stuffing several towels in the gap eventually did the trick, but it shouldn’t be necessary. And there’s a bunch of inaccurate/ misleading/ dangerous signage. Firstly, there are 2 huge fire doors as you climb the stairs from the night entrance. They both have large signs saying they must be kept shut at all times (they are, after all, fire doors). But they are both left open all the time, and I was told have been for a while. On the main entrance door, opposite reception, the biggest sign says office house are 9-5.30pm (same as last time) but right below it is another sign saying office hours are 9.30-230pm This shorter opening time impacted our stay in several ways,l. With that office only open from 930 to 230pm, eerything else is “ after hours”. So, if you want to use the laundry - you pay a deposit and a per hour fee - you have to do so between 930 and 2:30 pm. If you want to leave your bags during the day, after checking out at 10 am, you can only do so till 2:30 pm. (Last time we left our bags until 5pm , when we got the Skybus to the airport(. We phoned the Imperial number, at 3pm on day 2 , to ask for a second key to our room, and we’re told that there would be an “after hours fee” of $20, even though it was still 3 pm. None of this happened on our first visit, and the website doesn’t mention that all the services mentioned are only available 5 hours/ day. So, like I said, I should be giving a great rating, but I’d go for 2 1/2 stars.
