We went for afternoon tea at hawkstone Hall bought for us as a gift you arrive by a long drive and standing at the end is this magnificent building first impressions manicured lawns ample parking too we were greeted at the door by a gentleman who was very smartly dressed and polite nothing was to much trouble for him the afternoon tea was absolutely lovely lots of nice sandwiches and cakes and scones jam and clotted cream.we then had a look around the grounds and met the gardeners who were friendly and helpful they do a remarkable job considering there is only a few of them all the staff were lovely I would highly recommend this place we will definitely be back as we live local in Shrewsbury

From the moment you step into the building you are blown away by the beauty of the place. Attention to detail, welcoming staff, very professional and so beautiful. I can honestly say we were blown away by the architecture, gardens and the general feel of the place. I would return in the blink of an eye.

My sister and I had afternoon tea here. There's a long drive up to the hotel and we were greeted by a very attentive member of staff who took us straight to our table. The sandwiches and cakes were wonderful. We also had a walk around the grounds, we had a very special day out and we will be back

We stayed at Hawkstone Hall in May 202 4 for two nights. We had stayed for one night previously and were pleased to be able to return. The food, drinks and service were all excellent as they had been on our last visit. However, the Hall and grounds make a stay at Hawkstone Hall particularly special. We were lucky to have nice weather so it was great to have a wander through the gardens in the sun. We can't wait to visit again.

A wonderful evening, experience and delightful food at the Nelson gin and food experience. The hotel staff were amazing and the Nelson gin man Dave up to a high standard of hospitality and knowledge . The food was brilliant with excellent portions. A wonderful evening was had by all.

My wife and I stayed 12/13May to celebrate my 70th Birthday. Absolutely Fabulous Stay, Food,Service and wonderful staff who made it so special for us. Lovely location, beautiful period building. Thoroughly enjoyable stay,?would Highly Recommend.

I stayed for two nights for a wedding. The whole estate including the house are very well maintained and beautiful ensuring beautiful photo opportunities. The staff were very efficient and friendly whilst remaining professional. The accommodation was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The wedding including the wedding breakfast was excellent and well organised. It was also lovely having exclusive use of the Hall for the wedding.

This unspoilt stately home has been renovated to a very high standard by a private family, so there is nothing corporate or clinical ! The food is exceptional in the lavish restaurant. We stayed for one night with breakfast, again, this was great. Staff are extremely welcoming. As the weather was so wet we did the audio tour of the house, which gave an insight to the renovations and history of the house. We stayed in a slightly larger than standard room which was lovely with everything you need. I would really recommend Hawkstone Hall, as a little gem in the north of shropshire.
