We stayed over for one night in the Kejserens Addis Ababa room and had dinner at the restaurant Det blå tog in the evening. We were very pleasantly surprised! The room was really nice- it was clean and very, very spacious! Really good beds and your own well equipped kitchen! It basically was a small apartment but beautiful like a hotel room! The dining- especially the dinner was amazing! We got a 3 course dinner and everything was super tasteful and delicious! Our warmest recommendations for this place! We only had one tiny detail we would maybe recommend to be added to the breakfast: scrambled eggs. That we missed. But else everything was so good. We would definitely not mind to come back.

Very nice and clean room with a separate seating area. We enjoyed a very nice dinner in the breakfast room which was arranged with no fuss although the restaurant was full. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and when we forgot our Kindles even sent them to us as no charge.

A very nice small hotel in a very dull place. This hotel is the only place to be in Holsted. A hotel with character. Service was perfect, very nice breakfast. The room we had was a small suite with design fitted for an airplane pilot. Good to have a small kitchen with micro-own and refrigerator. We also had a balcony we used in the sunset. Wifi worked ok, but my 4g was in fact better. The breakfast was served in a large garage with design as an airplane garage, very cool. And of course, a real Danish breakfast was available. Dinner at the hotel restaurant “Blue Train” in the evening was also very good, except from the beer in the restaurant – it was a bit bitter, but that just my taste. We will be back at some time.

The old Post Office in Holsted is the centre for this hotel right I the middle of Holsted but rooms are located in several buildings including the old fire station (we stayed in the fire chief’s office). Beds are very cosy and you sleep well. Our room had its own kitchen so they you can self-cater (which might come in handy since the selection of eating places is limited in Holsted). Breakfast was very good and was served in the fire station.

We arrived for our two night stay around 5pm. We were greated and walked over to our apartment by the owner. When we entered we were surprised to see such a large space. She told us we were in the 4 bedroom appointment. I was surprised because I booked the 2 bedroom apartment. She said not to worry about it this is where we were to stay.
The apartment itself was nice and clean. A few things I found odd was the bathroom lights were on timers. And if you were sitting on the toilet for more than a minute the light would go off and the sensor is far away leaving you in darkness.
I also didnt love the master bedroom as there was no door and there were huge windows and a skylight. We had traveled for several hours and were so tired. But it doesnt get dark in June until late so we were trying to sleep with no darkness
But overall everything was pretty good. It was clean and we were comfortable.
The only bad thing when I went to check out they tried to charge me nearly 1000 DKK more than I had booked the room for. Luckily I had my ********** receipt and knew that I was being over charged. The did change it but I have a feeling that the bigger apartment was empty so they put us there and then tried to charge me for it.

The beds were good, the breakfast excellent and the owners and other staff exceeded our expectations with amazing service. We warmly recommend the nearby restaurant (1 minute walk) and pizzeria (5 min walk, reserve cash). Breakfast was served in a nice atmosphere and coffee was the best we had this trip so far.
