Disaster. I never was so insulted in my life. Sr. Martin, a house cleaner, was a true stupid. Truculent, agressive, speach , screaming Very high with me, knoking My door shower like a boxeur, probably to intimidade, as is Very tall. But I am not a coward, even for MT small tall. The manager, wich I complain, does'nt make any providêncies.A complete disaster, that I'll report in the reviews. They don't have a single carpete in the shower! Yesterday they put the card of a questão in the wrong box, and nobody do answer.

Cave houses are typical and unique properties in Granada. Mainly located in the Sacromonte district (UNESCO heritage), they offer fantastic views to the Alhambra and its gardens. They were specially designed to isolate from the Andulusian summer heat and also the winter cold coming from the Sierra Nevada (closest mountains). Modern, beautiful, very comfortable single-family house "Cueva de Lindaraja", 2 storeys in 2018. In the district of Sacromonte, in a quiet, sunny position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. Private: terrace, garden furniture. Stepped path (20 steps) to the house. Grocery 500 m, restaurant 500 m, bar 100 m, bus stop "Albayzín - Granada Centro" 50 m. Nearby attractions: La Alhambra 2 km, Catedral de Granada 1 km. Please note: car not advisable. 4-room house 80 m2 on 2 levels. Fully renovated in 2018, very comfortable and tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with dining table and digital TV. 2 small double bedrooms, each room with 1 double bed (135 cm, length 190 cm). 1 room with 1 pull-out bed (1 pers. 2 x 90 cm, length 190 cm). Open kitchen (oven, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer, grill, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC. No heating option. 2 large terraces, south facing position. Terrace furniture. Marvellous view of La Alhambra. Facilities: washing machine, iron, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). VTF/GR/04107

Great place, the view, the atmosphere and the staff. Extra thanks to Amelia who assisted us out of a tricky traffic in the old town. Giving us personal guidance and meeting up at the parking place for casa Bomba. The room had a beautiful view especially over castle Alhambra. Small but nice pool.

PPengguna TetamuWe were delighted when we arrived - what a nice little hotel which we would classify on the “boutique’ side. Not many rooms, I think 10 in total and ours had a private bath. While the room itself was small it was very clean and all we needed for our one night stay. The hotel manager (didn’t get his name unfortunately) was very helpful with everything. If you are using Google maps to find the place, listen carefully as it had a bit of a hard time for us. Great stay!

MMatthew CAMC Granada is rated as a 1-star hotel, but it definitely didn't feel like it! The room we had on the 3rd floor was spacious, extremely clean, and the white walls complemented the sunlight that soaks in when you open the windows. This depends on what side of the hotel you're in, but we also luckily had the side where the windows faced Plaza Nueva. We were lucky to just open the windows and see flamenco across the street and even the procession going down the street when it happened while being away from all the craziness! The location is also prime to all the bus stops that'll take you to the Alhambra, Sacromonte, and walking distance to the nearby shopping, eats, and hammam baths! And huge shoutout to the manager at the front desk, Pilar. She was so helpful in getting us everything we needed including answering all of our questions, helping us coordinate our delayed luggage delivery, and even being patient with my broken Spanish which you don't need to know because she's fluent in English.

This is a delightful little hotel in a perfect area for discovering Granada. The host, Celine, is charming and gave us lots of useful information on the area. The hotel has an amazing roof terrace with the best views of Granada and the Alhambra - you can order drinks and food and watch the sun set over the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains. They also offer a great simple breakfast and there are coffee and drinks vending machines which are really useful. Parking was easy and cheaper through the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

Grab the local bus just outside the train station and ride three stops to this unassuming yet extremely comfortable hotel. The location could not be more perfect for all of the sightseeing and tapas restaurants in the area. For an extremely good price, you get a very big and comfortable room with fantastic views of the plaza and church across the way. Bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast restaurant a block away. Simply can’t be beat for the price.

PPengguna TetamuHa sido una experiencia muy desagradable. Hay muchos datos que se omiten en la descripción del lugar y las imágenes son un engaño total. En primer lugar la recepción tiene un horario muy restringido, el acceso es complicado ya que las escaleras de acceso son empinadas y los escalones son muy altos, ojo si lleváis maletas. La habitación es enana. En 15 m2 han construido un baño minúsculo en el que no te puedes mover ( no muy limpio) y que apesta, tanto que ni con la puerta cerrada se disimula, supongo que es porque la puerta es corredera, no encaja y además está a 20cm de la cama, sí, sí a un palmo. Pero no sé si es peor el olor del lavabo o de la habitación, no se puede parar del olor a tabaco, humedad y cerrado. Si a todo eso le añades que los baños comunitarios suenan como si se estuvieran duchando en el tuyo y con la puerta abierta, pues sucede que es imposible dormir. Podría seguir con muchos más detalles pero no va a parecer verídica la opinión. Lo único que tiene bueno este hostal es la ubicación, el resto pésimo, nunca lo recomendaría a nadie.

PPengguna TetamuJ'avais prévu de rester 4 jours, j'ai du partir pendant la 1ère nuit. Impossible de rester. Je précise que je suis loin d'en être à ma première auberge de jeunesse, je suis passée juste avant à Cordoba, Sevilla, et d'autres en Europe pour des prix similaires. Mais un endroit comme El Cascabel, je n'en ai jamais vu. - Très sale. Je pense sincèrement qu'ils doivent faire le ménage une fois par semaine. J'ai du nettoyer le casier avant de pouvoir m'en servir. Sous mon drap housse il y avait des morceaux de polystyrène (?). Les matelas sont enroulés dans du plastique qui se déchire et se répand partout (voir photos) - Je pense qu'il y a probablement des punaises de lit. Cela expliquerait le plastique des matelas, et aussi le fait que je me sois grattée toute la nuit. Et donc ils le savent, et n'ont pas honte de louer ça à des voyageurs. - Installations très détériorées, meuble salle de bains cassé, tringle à rideaux cassée... - J'étais dans une chambre mixte de 6, d'habitude cela se passe très bien, mais là j'étais la seule femme avec 5 hommes. La plupart du temps les établissements s'arrangent pour mieux répartir et ne pas laisser une femme seule, j'aurais apprécié. - J'ai très peu dormi, pas totalement de la faute de l'établissement, mais beaucoup de bruit dehors, gens qui entrent et sortent sans arrêt jusqu'à 3h du matin dans l'auberge, lits superposés qui grincent et bougent beaucoup... - Et en plus c'est cher au vu de la piètre qualité. Pour résumer, n'y allez jamais ^^

PPengguna TetamuMy daughter had stayed here last year and recommended it to us. Sadly our experiences with this place varied greatly. We booked a room for 3 months in advance to be given the tiniest room ever. It had 1 single bed and 1 double bed and 2 separate doors to balcony view. 1 set up of doors didn't work. The room was so small we had difficulty storing 3 pieces of luggage (1 per person) unless they were completely closed and stored upright. If we would've left suitcases open and lying on the floor, we wouldn't have been able to enter the restroom or leave the room without jumping over suitcases. Upon check in our room was very hot. A printed page of directions were given upon check in and they included instructions that it may take up to 10 minutes for the a/c to begin working. 30 minutes later the a/c was still only blowing hot air. We notified the front desk and they arrived shortly afterwards. Unknown to us (from reading the website or upon check in), guests cannot control the a/c units in their rooms. The front desk must enter the room with a remote control. We were asked what degree celsius we'd like it set at. We responded and the front desk person left. So, vacationers beware! Unless you want to continually call the front desk to come adjust the a/c temperature, choose your a/c setting wisely. During night 1 while trying to go to sleep we heard water dripping. The a/c unit was installed above the rood door and was leaking. We placed towels on the floor and noticed this issue must have been going on for quite some time before we checked in because it was obvious the top of the door and some of the door trim were warped from the constant exposure to water. We notified the front desk the next morning and they sent someone to repair the unit. The repair was short lived and that evening we again got to listen to dripping water all night. The towels we placed on the floor the second night were soaked by the morning and the water had made its way into the hallway also. But, the worst part about our room was the bathroom. It was disgusting. Please see pics. The bottom of the shower curtain was completely black with mold and the grout and caulk on the tub / tiles needed to be completely redone. On a high note, the staff was friendly and daily we would see the hallways being cleaned and mopped (including the staircase). Too bad some of those cleaning efforts weren't put towards the bathrooms. The location is fabulous and located near many restaurants, etc. However, based on our experience here we'd look for accommodations elsewhere the next time we're in Granada.
