Was perfect for a clean, no-frills stay. Spacious tripple room in hotel part (not separate cabin. Everything was clean and there was friendly staff. Restaurant was good with regular Iceland prices. Located on a working farm with sheep and building equipment around.

PPengguna TetamuWe were a family of 8 - three adults stayed in one cabin and the family of 5 (with 3 children 10-15 years), in another. The cabins were convenient because they had enough sleeping areas for everyone and had kitchens so we didn't have to eat out for every meal. Food in Iceland is extremely expensive!! Things that could be improved - reception/office hours weren't convenient given that the guesthouse is a bit of a distance from the important tourist sites in the area so we tended to leave before the office was open or return after it had closed. One cabin had an issue with the faucet in the shower not being clearly marked and thus it was challenging to get anything other than scalding water - but it wasn't until nearly the last day that we were able to get to the office to ask for help. The curtains are symbolic at best - during the summer you'll need eye masks since it never gets dark. One of the cabins had a mirror in the 'living room' which was very convenient so we didn't all need to use the bathroom mirror when trying to get ready for the day. It would be great if this was standard in all the cabins. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this guesthouse to others.
