Pp hThis was our second time at the namib guesthouse as we had a wounderful experience the last time. The Namib Guesthouse is centrally located and within walking distance of Swakopmund city center. The hostesses are extremely warm and very helpful in all matters. Among other things, when you check in you will receive a city map and all the sights and ways to get there will be explained. They are also very helpful with reserving a table for dinner in one of the numerous restaurants in the city. The rooms are spacious, quiet and modern furnished. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired You can park your vehicle in a guarded parking lot directly in front of the accommodation. For us, the Namib Guesthouse is the ideal place for a few beautiful days on the coast and the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities around Swakopmund and Walvisbay

We spent 2 nights in Swakopmund & chose to stay at the this hotel because we felt it offered a good balance of price, location & quality. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and felt the hotel met all of these expectations. The rooms are clean, modern, light & airy and the bed one of the most comfortable we slept in during our trip. The bathroom is open to the rest of the room which didn't bother us being a married couple, but for people sharing a room as friends, it is just something to bear in mind. Swakopmund was surprisingly chilly during August being winter especially at night (it reminds us of a British summer lol!), so we were pleased to find that the AC can be used to heat the room as well, which came in handy in the evenings & early mornings. In terms of location, the hotel is great as there is parking outside with security to keep an eye on your car, the lighthouse & museum across the road and you are just a couple of mins walk in the other direction to the shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a great bar next door, one side of the hotel and a lovely Italian restaurant / pizzeria on the other side, so it was a good spot for dining too! The included breakfast was also great with a selection of toasts, fruits, cakes, juices etc as well as the option for cooked eggs, full English etc. The staff were all lovely & very helpful and we would gladly stay again & recommend the place to others!

It was great staying at the Jetty, and we always like coming back. It may not be the most fashionable home, but it feels like a real home. From the moment of arrival, late night when the owner himself was there to welcome us until the last moment when the wonderful busy bees around the house helped us with putting all belongings together. VERY NICE

As our travel abroad was coming to an end we finally were treated to sleeping in a bed and hotel showers. We were all pleasantly surprised by a new home. We spent 3 nights and 2 days here. We enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. Before going home we wished we could stay a few more days. Everyone were great.

PPengguna TetamuMy friend and I stayed at this guest house for three nights as we explored Swakopmund and the surrounding area. The room was clean and just big enough for the two of us. The buffet breakfast was simply and tasty and the staff went above and beyond including opening breakfast early a couple mornings so we could get to our booked activities in time. Laundry service was affordable and quick. Great location within walking distance to the ocean, restaurants, and shops. Would highly recommend!
