The cornerstone was the perfect home away from home! It felt so cozy and welcoming. The towels and bedding were soft and plush, and I loved the fresh baked goods downstairs (both vegan and non-vegan options). The innkeeper Brian was really friendly and helpful when I needed anything. The breakfasts were substantial and tasty as well. I will most definitely come back anytime I'm in the area again!

Stayed 4 nights here in large apartment style room with sitting area and small kitchen. Old style furnishings and beautiful main dining room and sitting room area Breakfast was continental midweek with cereals, hard boiled eggs, selection of breads bagels and toast, pastries and fresh fruit. At weekend we had cooked omelette, home made cherry cake, filled croissants and avocado on bagels as well as midweek selection Very friendly staff and place spotlessly clean Location very safe and residential close to 2 great restaurants we ate at, Seafood Unlimited and Southgate with brilliant Happy Hour food and drink offers. Would definitely stay here again and the complimentary cocktails at their sister hotel The Morgan, was a great excuse to visit that hotel which was a beautiful hotel and again lovely staff

I am not sure how this hotels have so many wonderful reviews. I will start with the pros and move to the cons. PROS 1. The staff were friendly very warm welcoming. 2. Parking if free. CONS. 1. The place is run down and needs renovations. The curtains were have with dust, if you suffer from allergies, asthma or sinusitis DO NOT STAY THERE! My allergies Immediately flares up. Itchy eyes, sore throat and headache. 2. The sitting chair in our room was torn and faded, and was covered with a blanket to hid the rips. 3. Bathroom is down the hall and we had to share it with guests. 4. The bathroom stall wait not clean ( Please bring a pair of slippers to wear in the shower). The bathroom windows, sink and needs to be fixed. 5. The outside porch/veranda has old torn, and faded furnitures. The flooring is also old and faded and broken. 6. The only restaurant close by was an Ethiopian restaurant, and a pizza shop. I wish I could upload a video This place is not as advertised. We did not stay for breakfast.
