Hotel - l'Invitation AU Voyage

We have just returned from 6 luxurious nights in the most charming of hotels where everyone goes the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. On entering you quickly see how chic the place is with high quality decorations, furnishing and lighting. Everything is spotless. Pierre was a star even going to the parking machine which was giving us trouble. We learned that the charming couple who look after breakfast are actually the owners of this 19 room oasis of calm and comfort. This is almost certainly why it is so good – hands on owners. The young lady on reception when Pierre wasn’t was also a great help and she told me she replies to the TripAdvisor comments (nice that they do many can’t be bothered), so a big thank you. The room was fabulous (103) and I would recommend a room at the front overlooking the charming little square as it’s great for people watching. Fresh lemonade in the fridge and Nespresso coffee (what else?) and they use Nespresso coffee not cheap capsules like many hotels do who boast Nespresso. The hotel is within metres of several excellent restaurants and is nicely away for the main very busy part of Honfleur, but in no way distant from the action. As I said in the title, I really don’t know why anyone would want to stay anywhere else – unless price is your sole driver, because you get what you pay for. Thanks all, we will remember it for a long time – but it’s not the easiest name to remember unless of course you are a student of French poetry, it being famous.

What a wonder hotel. Best location in Honfleur. We arrived on the bus and called for directions. Pierre asked where were and came to us to guide us to the hotel. They recommended restaurants and activities that were wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel. And Honfleur is a great place to visit. Saturday has a great market.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It is in a fantastic position in Honfleur, everything is within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Honfleur is a beautiful town and well worth staying for at least one night and this is the Hotel to use. The rooms are modern and extremely comfortable

Attentive and staff that will go above and beyond for you. Their breakfast is absolutely delicious with fresh, high quality ingredients. They also offer breakfast in bed for an additional 5 euros. Clean, modern rooms. All you could ask for. I would definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel in great position with great staff. The team at the hotel all work very well together. Hotel close to all town amenities and an abundance of restaurants nearby. It’s my third visit to this lovely hotel and number 4 booked! Love it!

Had a wonderful experience and stay at this hotel. Sadly it was just one night and wished it was for longer. Warm welcome from the staff and owner. Attention to detail throughout the hotel. Newly renovated with excellent taste and style. I’m an absolute bedding diva and this hotel did not disappoint.. fantastic thread count and a comfortable bed. Now let’s talk about the breakfast. I had the best pain au chocolate and croissant that I have ever had in my life. I’m not kidding. Artisan quality. Set me up nicely for the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Kristina

Perfectly situated in the middle of Homfleur. We had a very warm welcome from Sandra who gave us lots of advice and made us feel very welcome. Spotless room and excellent service with the most delicious breakfast. Can't speak highly enough of it.

Unbeatable location, modern and big room. It's worth any penny. No parking in place however there is a very convenient and cheap parking just across the place.

If you're looking for a five-star experience at a three to four-star price, this hotel is perfect. It's not far from the "leisure" harbor and the winding medieval streets in the beguiling town of Honfleur. Our room had a true king-sized bed (which is huge since my husband is 6'8" - yeah, huge!) The room was clean, large by European standards and was very quiet. The owner is a lovely hostess that made us feel at home.
