WiFi hardly usable at times, sometimes speeds of not even 1mbits. Very noisy and noisy. When the room neighbor takes a shower, it sounds like it's raining in the room. Unfortunately there is a lack of basics like some soap. Only small towels. Check-in process, communication with the hosts was very good. The location and price are of course top. Although the room is located in a very dodgy building, it is extremely central, right in the heart of Hong Kong. And luckily you don't have to take the elevator, you can also take the stairs. There are often waiting times at the elevator

I've been staying in this hotel for 4 nights. And I could say that this is the best option when you are budget-travel like me. I liked the cleanliness of the room, and the staff here was nice to me. Also, i had such a nice view on skyscrapers! I had no struggle at finding this hotel. It is located at section C, floor 8. If I want to visit Hong Kong once again, I'll definitely stay in this hotel!

Many people claimed that chung king mansion is dangerous but I think it's not like totally unlivable..the guesthouse we stayed in is small yet clean..the host is super friendly..and the location is super close to metro would definitely stay there again if we ever visit

very small - tiny room. the guesthouse itself is hard to find without outside help. big problem with elevators in the building - long queues.

Very small rooms but also very friendly service, prompt consistent communication and all the basic amenities like washing machine, hair dryer, water filter etc.

Nice little room with own bath. Shower  could have been positioned better instead of over the toilet but you get what you get for a stay in the ChungKingMansions. Didn't expect to just get a small hand towel as a bath towel though. They don't provide any toiletries except the basics when you are asked if you need them. They keep it clean and minimalist. Overall a decent stay for the price and location.

Of all the bad reviews I've read with Chungking Mansions, this hostel has proved us wrong. Location was good because just across the street is the MTR and bus stops. There are also a lot of stores surrounding the place and even inside Chungking Mansions. Very accessible. When it comes to our room, we were surprised that they provided toiletries including slippers and everyday they changed our bath towels and emptied the trash can. Plus, universal adapter was also provided. Despite of our small room size, our room was clean and has airconditioner, electric fan, heater, TV, Wi-Fi and fire alarm. They also have refrigerator, hot water for drinking and hair blower outside the room. The owner and lady cleaner were very nice. They also allowed us to check-in an hour early and allowed us also to leave our luggages for few hours after our check-out for 50HKD. Over-all, we were very much satisfied with our stay. We hope to be back! Thank you so much! 🤍

Room is small, a typical size for guesthouses in Chungking. There are only 7 units so it is not noisy or annoying environment. location is best. only one problem is that I feel the towel is not quite clean and a bit smelly.

No one was there to let me into my room. I had to wait several hours outside with my luggage. Than they requested a deposit of 200 HKD for the key which was never mentioned in the booking reservation.

You get what you pay for. The location is excellent. Right next to one of the central stations in Kowloon, walking distance to Temple night market area, bars and restaurants, shopping, etc. Short train ride to pretty much anywhere you might want to go in HK. The room is absolutely tiny, there is no natural light at all, the bed is small and not super comfortable. But it's way cheaper than any other options and the people who run it are nice and take good care of what it is. Our blankets were always folded, we got new (tiny) towels every day. It was good for what it was. Staying in Chungking Mansions was interesting and convenient, too.

Location is good if you’re looking for shopping in Mongkok, if you’re looking for sightseeing maybe not the best choice

The location in the Chungking mansions is good because super close to the metro, but the only elevator is crowded on evenings, and of course it is really small. It is functional though, we had a good sleep. Of course, no luggage storage for the first and last day, this is hong kong.
