Ulasan Dash Living on Hollywood

1) During our two-night stay, housekeeping did not make the bed or clean the cups; they only replaced the towels and left. 2) We were dismayed to discover a cockroach in the bed sheets, which we spotted crawling out on our last day. We managed to took a photo of it running to hide in the end of the bed … 3) The fire alarm rang incessantly from midnight until 2 am, making it impossible to get any rest. 4) The AirCon was unable to be adjusted to a normal setting, and regardless of the mode, the airflow seemed to be stuck.

Great location to explore Hollywood and central area. Easy check in/out. Room modern and great views over the city. Kettle provided though no tea or coffee.

Hot water is either too hot or too cold. It’s hard to adjust to right temperature. Sound insulation is not good. You can hear people talking in another room. But overall is good. Good location. Bars, restaurants and stores near nearby. 10 mins walk to Sheung Wan station.

Great locations, plenty of cafes and restaurants. There are some stairs from front desk to the elevators, so hard to carry luggage. The rooms are on the smaller size but enough to be comfortable. I would book again!

The room TV would suddenly turn on at night. There’s some hair in the bathroom which is sorta disgusting. The bed is comfortable so at least we had a good sleep.

Lovely little hotel just next to mid levels. Rooms are a good size and the bed is super comfy! The only problem I had was that you could hear each nearby rooms TV, thankfully the neighbours stopped watching tv at a reasonable hour but I do think the sound proofing should be better. I would stay here again.

Everything by you could want for a short stay in Hong Kong (island). This new hotel offers studio-styled rooms with everything neatly built-in or tucked away to make best use of space. It’s about a 10min walk to tram and subway stops near Central and Admirality. Water, kettle and mini-fridge were all provided but no tea or coffee. The 7-eleven across the street has a nice variety of snacks and there are several great restaurants and bars along the street next door - Thai, Italian, Western/Steak houses and coffee shops are right across the street. This is a neat place to stay and at the same price as the Ramada further down the road, it holds its own in matching up to franchise competition, for the solo-traveller on a budget.

Dash living on Hollywood is a great location. Small economic room. Unfortunately the maid left the key out so heating or aircon would not operate when you are outside the room. Aside from that great hotel and would definitely consider staying again!

Pros: Location is great. Close to all the bar streets and close to the metro station. Easy to find. Modernish room. Good shower. Cons: 2 guests in the room only 1 bottle of water. The bathroom mirror don’t have any lights so not sure how to see anything when putting make up on. The full length mirror is tinted so also cannot use for makeup. Hopefully it’s an easy fix for them.
