I recently stayed at the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel on 31/12/2024 and I wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, my stay had several challenges that impacted my overall satisfaction. Since there were no available double bed rooms on the non-smoking floor, I was assigned to a smoking room on 9/F. As a non-smoker, I expected a slight cigarette smell, but the odor in the room was quite heavy. I informed housekeeping to spray air freshener while I was out for dinner, but the smell persisted, and even after checking out, I could still smell it on my clothes. Additionally, the room itself felt outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s, and it is in urgent need of upgrades and maintenance. The decor and furnishings could definitely benefit from a refresh to enhance the guest experience. Another downside was the Wi-Fi connectivity. The signal in my room was poor, making it impossible to download games to my Switch. I found myself having to stand in the corridor just to complete the download, which was quite inconvenient. On a positive note, the staff were polite and attentive, which made a difference in my stay. I also appreciated the spaciousness of the room, which provided some comfort despite the other issues. In summary, while the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel has potential with its friendly staff and spacious accommodations, significant improvements are needed in terms of room conditions, maintenance, and amenities.

Arrived late almost midnight, staff are friendly and helpful; only surprising no shower gel, shampoo at room due to government policy: ( buy a set, only use shower gel, others wasted! NobECO friendly at the end

The hotel is quite central in location. There’s Starbucks next to it. However there are a lot of stairs and is not accessible to individuals who could use ramps, like travellers with large suitcases or disabled. There’s steps leading to the check-in lounge, steps to go up to the lifts and from the lifts on each floor to the rooms. The room is clean and of a good size. However, mine is right next to the main road and is very noisy. At night, there’s a low ringing noise that came in every 10s - I couldn’t get a good night sleep at all. The housekeeping is ok - but they missed some items after they cleaned up the room - they did not replenish the slippers, the toothbrushes, and the bath essentials. One of the towels had a lipstick mark on it. I had to go to the front desk to get them, but the front desk is very helpful. On the last day when I wanted to check out, the front desk personnel is missing and I had to wait about 15min for the person to return.

Diiringi oleh muzik kecapi yang merdu dan pemandangan Victoria Harbour yang memabukkan, anda pasti terharu dengan keindahan dan berasa santai dan gembira. Bilik-bilik tetamu yang selesa dan elegan, perkhidmatan dan kemudahan yang bertimbang rasa serta lengkap membolehkan orang ramai bergembira dan pada masa yang sama lebih mengetahui hal ehwal semasa dan mendapatkan maklumat tentang maklumat.

Location was a little far from the city center; however, was very conveniently located next to Tai Koo MTR station. Our room was spacious for Hong Kong standards, and kept clean. We greatly appreciated the receptionists accommodating our request for early check-in and late check-out.

Clean, with a good view - comfortable bed, pillows.. good location, though still a 15-20 minute walk from Victoria Park. Sheets, towels were very clean, and plenty of hot water. Things are a bit dated, though not in a bad way, except that the TV was so small it was nearly laptop-sized - only real negative to the whole stay was that the doors close with such concussive force that neighbours returning to their rooms feels a bit like a cannon going off.
