Having never seen regional Victoria as an Irishman living in Australia for 28 years (I have lived predominately in QLD), I thought on the 5th of January that I'd go on a random business/holiday trip alone in my car around regional Victoria for 2 weeks over the holiday break. I hadn't planned where I was staying (I hadn't booked anything), I just knew the route I was going. I decided the night before leaving Melbourne that I would start in Horsham, so looked on TripAdvisor the night before for somewhere to stay. I picked accommodation somewhere else without booking, but then realised as I was driving into town, it definitely wasn't 0.9 Km from the town centre that they advertised. Anyway, I pulled up in the town centre, checked where to stay as an alternative and came across the Townhouse Motor Inn. Rang them, Jackie (the owner) spoke to me and I was checked in within half an hour. Booked for two days, then decided on the second day that I needed to stay an extra day, it was not a problem for her even though they were pretty booked up. I highly recommend this as the place to stay when in Horsham, it's in the centre of town (but still quiet), very well priced and Jackie and Dave the owners were so hospitable. I will return to Horsham again, and this is where I'll be staying. I'll also say, and you will see these similar reviews over the two week trip that i took, but having worked in hospitality for 38 years, please book directly through the motel. 3rd party bookings don't help any hospitality business. We need businesses like the Townhouse Motor Inn to ensure we have an enjoyable experience as a random traveler. It was a delight to stay here.

We have stayed at the Town House several times and always find that it meets our expectations and more. The owners are very friendly and obviously take pride in their motel. It is immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed, and wonderful linen and towels. The air conditioner is very, very quiet, which makes sleeping so much easier! You are offered a small bottle of fresh milk on arrival, which is so much better than those tiny packs of long-life milk. The motel is very conveniently located in the centre of town as well. Some of the photos on their own website are a little dated and it is much smarter in reality! We will stay again!

I have stayed at the Townhouse Motor Inn for a number of years, and it has always been a fantastic experience. From the friendly welcome from Jackie and Dave when you arrive, if you have any queries or requests, Jackie and Dave are always happy to assist, the spotlessly clean rooms and of course, the Townhouse is so central to all of the eateries and shopping that you would need. Highly recommend the Townhouse Motor Inn to everybody.

We recently had a one night stay at the Townhouse Motor Inn and we will be staying there again next time we visit Horsham. We booked a twin room which had a queen bed and a single bed. the room was spacious and had everything we needed. The heating was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. It is very centrally located so we could walk to the shops and restaurants. The gentleman on the front desk was very accommodating and even booked a restaurant for us when I asked for suggestions on where to eat. Pool looked lovely though it was a little chilly to use it. Value for money and great central location.

The Townhouse Motor Inn - Horsham is a great place to stay for business, couples or family. Always presented neatly and very clean. The rooms are not small and very comfortable and have a great en-suite. They provide everything you may need; microwave, milk, disinfectant, a selection of chips & chocolates to purchase, TV, an aircon for all seasons and a fantastic pool area and more! The owners, Jacky and Dave are helpful, caring and very happy to help all clients with any needs you may have. Stays have always been pleasant, professional and well worth the stay! I highly recommend the Townhouse Motor Inn, as the priority accommodation if you visit or pass through Horsham :)

Booked 3 nights accommodation with the property for a Queen & Single. Had a friendly check in with a map & food options freely given. The complex is the traditional 2 storey type, with nominated car parking spaces. We were allocated Room 6 on the ground floor. Plenty of room inside with 2 beds, a table & 2 dining chairs. There is really nowhere to put luggage, one going on an ottoman type thing & the other on the floor. There is a bar fridge, microwave, tea-coffee making & a large tv. The air con is really efficient. The beds are very comfortable. There is an openable window serving the main part of the room but still the room was very dark. The wifi is free fast & can be relied upon. The ensuite has a shower stall with a large shower head. The toilettries are 2 squeezy bottles in the shower & near the hand basin. There is no window but there is an exhaust fan. You need to ask to have your room serviced. We asked for extra towels. The motel is in a great location, right in town, close to food outlets. It is very quiet & we heard no noise from other patrons or road noise meaning a good nights sleep. This is a good value hotel.

This motel is conveniently located for a one night stay in Horsham. It is walkable distance to all shops, pubs and restaurants and on first inspection it is clean and well appointed. However they seem to have saved money on the very thing people look for in a motel and that is a conformable bed. The mattress was like a brick and the pillows cheap and insubstantial so we had a restless night. It was also unfortunate that nobody seemed to know that one side of our curtains didn't work. We were able to fix it partially by standing on a chair, with no tools, so it didn't seem like a huge ask for the maintenance person. We'll try somewhere else next time.
