Asrama di Vienna

My stay at Stadtaffe Chic Hostel was truly a pleasant experience. The room and staff were remarkable. The room is tidy and clean. Staffs at reception is fun and energetic. Still, sound insulation is poor that you can easily hear people running and laughing along the corridors at night. Early checkin was said to be allowed if you request it 24h before checkin. Shampoo and body wash is provided in bathroom. There are snacks and coffee provided in common area with reasonable price. The hotel is even located at walkable distance with hot scenic spots. In general, it worth for a short stay.

First time for me in a Hostel and these guys made sure my experience was memorable. They were very welcoming and always smiling. The rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. The lounge area had a lot of chill spots, a pool table, a fussball table. At the bar I asked the bartender to make me a cocktail that was not on the menu and he was more than happy to do so. I really appreciated that! The metro station is right downstairs, and you have 5 stations to get to the city center, which is really helpful because in the center of the city are all the tourist attractions except Schonbrun. They have breakfast every morning and you can choose to pay 7 euros to eat. Or not. Not the best breakfast I've had but it does the job. Also, another con would be that there is no other piece of furniture in the room other then the beds. I found myself needing a chair or a small table lots of times. Overall an awesome stay! Would totally recommend! I will definitely come back!

Las instalaciones del hostel en general están bastante bien. Es un edificio grande, por lo que tanto habitaciones, espacio común e incluso casilleros, son amplios. La recepción trabaja las 24h y tienes una tarjeta para abrir las puertas y también tu casillero. Lo cual es cómodo. La ubicación es buena, al lado de un supermercado y al frente del mercado. Además está muy cerca la Karlskirche y del centro en general.

Acceptable, but only for cold months like fall and winter. The room has basic things and is clean for a short stay. However, during summer it is very hot! No aircon and need to open the window which still cannot circulate enough and even bring so much noise. Won’t recommend for hot months. Also the bed is not comfortable at all, hope they put a better one. Location is not in the city center, but is ok as there is multiple tram or metro or bus within 5 minutes walk. Also there is affordable cafe or eateries, and even a shopping mall within 5 minutes walk. I may consider in future but only for cold months that can keep the windows closed.

Great hostel not far from the main train station, but a bit of a walk to the main sites. Great evening social activities.  Can be noisy in the evenings with lots of school trips but otherwise quiet location. Good food & very friendly helpful staff.

Chambres pour deux personnes (60 ans ) avec deux lits simples, rideaux aux fenêtres avec des adhésifs opaques sur les fenêtres. Trois cintres pour deux personnes dans l'armoire je pense que le gérant peut facilement améliorer cela. Excellent accueil du gérant. Je me suis sentie en sécurité. Très bonne ambiance. Hôtel tranquille. Très près du centre ex kartplatz en 10 mn en bus et métro . Très bien situé épicerie bar resto boulangerie à 3mn à pied. Un peu de ménage dans les chambres et salles de bain serait appréciable, sol de la chambre collant! Beaucoup de moisissures dans les salles de bain. Deux salles de bain dont une avec WC . Un WC séparé . Petite cuisine ,micro ondes et bouilloire. Bon rapport qualité prix.

I was supposed to stay at this hostel for 4 night, but I left 1 day earlier because I couldn’t stay at this hostel anymore. I was in room number 212 , the bed they gave me was bed number 1, but the sheets were super dirty and the cushion smelled like a scalp. I told it to the receptionists and they told me they change it everyday, which obviously is a lie. They told me to change the bed to bed number 3, which was also not washed and the bed cushion literally smells like 2-3 different people’s scalp 🤡. The bathroom was even worse , it’s a literal horror show. I am not even exaggerating. I made a video of the bathroom , and you can see it wasn’t cleaned for at least a week. The toiled had a poo stain on it, so I had to clean it before using 🥲. The whole hostel looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for at leasr 2 months. If you don’t want to sleep in the same bedsheet few strangers slept and a bathroom that’s been used by multiple people without being cleaned , do not choose this hostel ! Also their doors do not cancel any noise, you can very clearly hear your roommate’s doing number 2 or 1💀. Also everything that’s happening in the corridor can be heard very loud and because of that I didn’t get a proper sleep during these 3 nights. I don’t understand how this place is still operating and has this many positive reviews… Even though I asked 3 times if they can change my bedsheet, the receptionists didn’t care and the Middle eastern reception literally said “ so?! What do you want me to do” in a rude way 🙃… Also it’s in a very sketchy part of the city and really far from everything. You can see reviews on Tripadvisor of other people who had the same experience as I did. My whole experience of Vienna was ruined because of this disgusting hostel and I don’t want other people to have the same experience. You can check the videos I posted on Google.

Although the idea of the hostel really suited my and my girlfriend’s preference, the execution, management and customer service really let it down. We had a problem with our bed not being cleaned which resulted in the customer service offering us a free night if we made the bed ourselves which we accepted but as there was no bedsheet available we were forced to sleep on the bare and slightly dirty mattress. The customer service line often goes to voicemail which resulted in a 6 hour long wait recess of trying to get the bedsheet sorted. Even when we received a bedsheet from the cleaners the next day it had a hole in. When speaking to management about the issue we were told it was normal for guests to make their own beds, which wasn’t the major issue for us it was the lack of accessible supplies that caused the problems. We were also promised a refund for this which was turned out to be given via Amazon voucher not an actual refund. Other slight problems include no toilet roll for 2 days, the capsules were also quite loud and the noise echoed from the other nearby capsules.
