HHollylj4Wouldn’t stay here again… bathrooms were very dirty and never saw them being cleaned. We booked a deluxe 3 bed dorm which ended up being 5m from the speaker which was very inconvenient and listening to the same song until late every night was exhausting. The location is awful on the other side of the island away from most restaurants, bars and shops! You would think because of this they would offer free bikes during your stay or at least a better price than the local stores… If you like a mix of chill and partying I wouldn’t stay here as its always party but is giving very young newly 18 year old cringe vibes! The only decent thing was no bunk beds and decent size lockers. Wouldn’t recommend.

The hostel is a great place to meet new people as there’s plenty of ‘organised fun’ on everyday as well as a good social atmosphere around the hostel. The breakfast is also amazing with the Creaps being fabulous (very clear the French own how shown them how to make them the right way). We’re it falls short is the lake of water pressure and hot water as well as the speaks blasting Islamic prays from 4:45am just next door. The paper thin walls block out little to know sound. There is also no ‘quite time’ so your quality of sleep with be poor if your a light sleeper. I’d definitely recommend bring earplugs.

PPengguna TetamuWe’ve been staying at Gili Buana Hostel for two nights in a private room. Right now the whole island is rather quiet, but you can tell that this place is absolute magic once filled with people again :-) it is very clean, beds are comfortable, there is a pool and even a volleyball field, and plenty of space to relax or sit together with friends. Also plenty of space to put your stuff when using the shared bathrooms and working AC 😉 The owners are really nice and friendly people too, always taking the time to chat with us and good to ask for advice what to do/where to go/etc. totally recommend (and hopefully will be back one day)! (Gili Air is such a beautiful place in general btw, like paradise)

RRobertI wasn't sure what I wanted to do on a Lombok, so I booked this hotel for my first night, and the hotel itself is very close to the Bang Sai port. The room was great but the hotel was lacking things. The restaurant was closed and there seemed to be a very small staff on. The pool showed green algae, and there was no soap in the shower. They also only supplied a sheet but no blanket. My guess is it has just undergone renovation and is being worked up. There was only one restaurant open in the evening within walking distance and I definitely do not recommend it. The only other thing open was a small convenience store in the opposite direction towards the port, and it was like a wasteland around the hotel
