Staff was great Room was clean Breakfast was very good Pool and jacuzzi was awesome!

Our stay was excellent in every way. Check in went smoothly. A luggage cart was there to carry our bags onto the spacious elevator. The room was very clean and the ac kept us cool . The TV was easy to operate. The complimentary breakfast had everything one could ask for.The ice machine was nearby for our soft drinks. The microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator were nice, too. And the price was better than other hotels that cost more but had bad reviews. We will stay here again.

My husband were in Houston to celebrate my Birthday! We were initially given room 401. The lighting in bathroom was very dim, only the bottom part of the mirror was lit up the rest of it wasn’t working so they advised a part would have to be ordered and changed us to the room next-door room 405 where we found that the door had been placed on the hinges unevenly or incorrectly, which caused a gap! You could see the hallway from the inside and you could see the inside of the room from the hallway, that wasn’t safe at all and the room didn’t have a television remote, so we moved to a third room 421, the third room the water pressure was almost null and the safe didn’t work either because of batteries, so those were replaced the next morning. We were told that the lack of water pressure was due to a boiler issue and he would check into it and let us know something but it never increased and he never got back with us like he said he would so the water stayed a trickle during our entire stay. Breakfast was decent. There were a few children running/stomping loudly up and down the hallway on our floor both morning and night! This stay was a nightmare! I mentioned it to the front desk staff, and she said I know they’re getting on my nerves too. But did nothing about it Manager Judy Corbett advised she would give us 5000 reward points for all our trouble. We got the Runaround from both front desk staff and her. She didn’t bother to contact me until after I’d completed a survey/review on this hotel. My husband and I were very disappointed and dissatisfied with our stay here to say the least. I would say communication with your hotel guests is key! Don’t leave them hanging or guessing about repairs or anything else that is concerning!

We were visiting Houston for a celebration of life for a departed family member. We stayed at this property for 3 nights and stayed in a suite. Our decision to book this property was based on proximity to our family events and the reviews found on Trip Advisor. We were welcomed and checked in by Griselda who was helpful can courtesy. The hotel was very clean including the lobby, hallways and our room. The included breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The food was hot and plentiful. The omelets were tasty and the scrambled eggs were not laying in water! Over all I gave this hotel 5 stars which is unusual for me but I feel it was deserved. Hope to stay there again.

Interior of the Hotel was very clean, room was larger than expected and bed very comfortable. However, when I went to hang up my shirts/pants, there were dirty linens in the closet left by housekeeping from previous guest. Additionally, there was no shampoo and conditioner in the bath/shower area. When I brought the dirty to night clerk, I informed her that I needed shampoo & conditioner for the following evening, she stated it would be communicate to housekeeping that day. When I returned that evening, none was present and I was disappointed and gave up on this staff.............

Good hotel in a decent location, decent breakfast too. Would recommend.

I am very disappointed in the customer service shown to my husband tonight. My husband booked a room and called to make sure my cousin could get in, as she would be arriving at the hotel tonight. He asked to speak to the manager, and I was appalled to listen to the extremely disappointing conversation he had with Jerry. My husband was very kind, explained that he booked the hotel with points and that my cousin was listed on the reservation. Jerry was extremely unprofessional in the way he spoke to my husband and ended up telling him he wouldn’t budge on this unwritten policy that my husband had to be there first (online it says you just have to add the other persons name to the reservation). My husband said he’d call member relations to get it resolved and Jerry very aggressively told him that he has his caller ID, has video of this call and would call customer care himself to let them know that my husband called him and he would be not be refunding the room. He aggressively stated several times that he would be keeping his points. When my husband said he was a platinum elite member and was hoping he could vouch for his identity, Jerry exclaimed that he was an even higher status member as to say that my husband’s status meant nothing. Frankly, it was embarrassing. We hope Jerry was just having a bad day and this isn’t his normal behavior as a manager in this customer-facing industry. My husband immediately called customer relations and found out that Jerry had already cancelled his reservation without letting us know. Thanks to Gemma over at customer relations, it was all sorted out and faith was restored in the Holiday Inn team. We will continue to pray for Jerry’s staff over at the Spring location.

This stay was completely enjoyable. Sloth I missed out on breakfast, everything was excellent. The room was very clean and spotless. The shower was very warm and cozy. Dove body wash and shampoo/conditioner was provided. Towels were provided daily. Bedding was comfortable and cozy as well. This was a solo staycation and I look forward to visiting again. Location was perfect to nearby freeways, stores and restaurants. I definitely recommend this location!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
