They didn't have our room ready, we had to change from a double bed to a king room because it wasn't ready (after 3pm), the shower wall was cover in hair, I left the room for the day, when I came back to sleep the bed was covered in hair, the kind that looks like ***** hair. I went to reception and the overnight lady said they were fully booked so she couldn't change me to another room, I asked for new sheets and she said she didn't have any, and that I needed to go back in the morning to asked for clean sheets!!!!!!!! I had to (barely) slept in an uncovered mattress. Plus I had to pay for the room again at the hotel because they didn't see my payment from the app and I'm still waiting to get my refund. Awful experience, i won't use this site or the same hotel ever again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Check in was great the gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely go back when we are back in the area. Thank you for a wonderful and quite stay..

The beds and pillows were probably the comfiest we’ve ever had in a hotel before. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. The hotel as a whole was very quiet.

Listing said Galleria but it’s actually Sharpstown. Dangerous area! The hotel smelled like food even in the room. The floors were dirty. Bathroom floor was dirty and the carpet was sticky. The breakfast area closed early so I had to go get coffee at Starbucks. Everything else was good.

Cleanliness was not too great. First room I got, there were hairs everywhere. They moved me over to another room, which was better, but not that I say wow. It looked liked entire 2nd floor was skipped. The bed in my room was👍👍👍👍

There was no soap in the Bathroom. Owner says they don’t have any. I could not believe we would go to a Hotel and be expected to wash our face and hands with hair shampoo. Never coming here again. Now I am scared about going to a Holiday Inn Express again. This property was rated four stars. Can’t count on that to mean anything.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston SW Galleria Area located at 6978 Windwater Parkway N. Our stay was horrible. We had to change rooms twice and the third room still wasn’t up to par. The first room had lighting issues in the bathroom, and we were told by maintenance that the part had to be ordered. The water coming out of the sink in the bathroom was almost a trickle, the hotel phone to dial the front desk was not working in any of the 3 rooms we were in. The front desk staff told us to call if we needed anything to call from the phone in the room, the only way I was able to get the front desk was to call from my personal phone and even then most times it just rang. We moved to the second room and the sink also ran at a trickle, there was no remote to the television. You could see out to the hallway from the room door and you could see inside the room from the hallway and this is all with the door closed. So we moved to a third room. The water still ran at a trickle, maintenance said it had to do with the boiler and he would check and let us know, he never did. The safe in the third room was not working. Unsupervised children ran up and down the 4th floor hallway late at night and in the morning until we left. Manager Judy Corbett advised she would give us 5000 points for our trouble but we have been getting the Runaround from both front desk staff and her. Horrible Service! Horrible stay! Property Not well maintained!!!

I love Holliday Inn, will choose them if possible, the rooms are always nice and clean, breakfast is always very good , this location didn’t disappoint

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Houston, which claimed to be near the Galleria. Unfortunately, this description was misleading as the hotel was nowhere near the Galleria area, which was quite disappointing. As for the hotel itself, it was a mixed experience. The common areas were well-maintained – they were clean and inviting, which initially gave a good impression. However, the room I stayed in was a different story. The room was in a state of disrepair. The most noticeable issue was with the flooring – the carpet was not only torn in several places but also stained, giving off an unkempt vibe. The tiles were another concern; broken tiles were a common sight, both in the entry and in the bathroom. The bathroom continued the theme of neglect. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, and the sink faucet was barely connected, which made using it an unnecessarily challenging task. Even basic amenities like lighting were inadequate, with several burnt-out lightbulbs contributing to a dim and unwelcoming atmosphere. It was evident that maintaining the rooms was not a priority for this hotel. Overall, while the common areas of the hotel presented well, the room’s condition significantly impacted the quality of my stay. It was disappointing, especially given the inaccurate description of the hotel’s location. I would rate this hotel as fair to below average, mainly due to the poor state of the room. How this place got at 8.6 is mind boggling to me!!

I couldn’t even make the check in as the person at the desk told me they didn’t have water and that they didn’t know when this was going to be fixed, I asked if I could get a refund, and he said I would because this was an issue from the hotel, now is two weeks since then and I have no refund yet, neither a reply from the hotel or ******* to get my money back.
