We got upgraded to a bigger quad room with windows for free, which was very nice. Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided. Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well. Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too! Service: The staff was friendly and helpful. Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than ”name labels”. Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night. Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

The hotel is near the Hualien train station. Environment is nice. The room is very big. Breakfast is buffet style, very delicious and nice. Overall quite good.

Location- near to Hualien station about 5-8mins walk. U won’t miss the hotel as it is painted a bright yellow. You can spot it from far! Food- Complimentary ice cream, coffee and juices are avail 24hrs. Snacks - crackers, tea jelly are avail from 3-8pm. Breakfast and supper are complimentary. Now this is really unexpected. Breakfast consists of meat, vegs, eggs. Chinese, western and veg options. Supper is lighter eg porridge rice curry potato and eggs vegs. Cocktail is avail and yes, complimentary too. Also fruits. Service- I was at first skeptical. To name a Hotel kindness will imply the hotel embraces the kindness value. True to its name, staff are polite and kind and goes out to help guests. U don’t need a password to log into wifi, I haven’t been to a hotel with complimentary breakfast and supper. I was suprised that the hotel is painted bright yellow and I realise it helps guests to locate the hotel as all other buildings are all grey and black and the yellow really lights up the area. I find it a thoughtful gesture. Room- Room is big. They gave me two queen size bed for three pax. There is also a bathtub. Amenities are provided. Oh yes, complimentary laundry service with washing powder provider. Now isn’t this thoughtful and kind and really take care of the guests esp those traveling with kids. Water refill is available at each floor next to the lift. Would definitely stay in the hotel if I go to Hualien again and yes, would love to stay in kindness hotel in different parts of Taipei too! Wevtrvl in a group. Room was superb. Breakfast, location mattress is good. Friendly staff. They hv freeflow drinks ( coffee, tea n water) at lobby which is another plus

Amazing place, Hasir is an amazing place for lunch by the pool and Ali our server was beyond excellent accommodating and pleasant… all the food is fresh. Drinks are sooo good…great salads … friendly fir families

We stayed here while playing in the Magistrate's Cup slow pitch softball tournament. The rooms are small but meet the basic needs. The word resort doesnt have the same meaning as it used to.

Location is good, but only provided one soft pillow which is hard to lie on. Soundproofing could be better, can hear kids screaming in alleyway at night time.

Location Located in the heart of beautiful Hualien and very close to night market as well (like 2 mins walk). Hotel provide free transportation to hualien airport but not to railway station. Hotel. Hotel was very cheap at the time of booking so I wasn’t expecting anything special however I was surprised by the quality of the service they provided. Rooms were great and they do have elevator.Room had electric kettle, coffee powder, bottled water and all the toiletries. Breakfast was great. Staff speak English which was helpful. Overall I am very happy with this hotel and will definitely stay here if I visit hualien again.

Very central location. Very kind and responsive host. Check-in procedure should be communicated ahead of time. No elevator. Overall, positive experience in the end.
