Look, it’s a three star hotel, so you know what you’re getting and what you’re not getting. What you’re not getting is breakfast; but Hythe is full of delightful breakfast cafes, and you can sort yourself out easily. What you *are* getting is service. When we had a medical emergency and needed to stay a bit longer than expected, the team were considerate and flexible and took the drama out of the situation. Very much appreciated. The location is lovely as well, on the beach and close to everything (it’s a small town). But the kindness shown in an hour of need trumps everything else.

This hotel is ideally located in Hythe. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and had everything we needed for a one night stay. It is tired and rundown but the staff are lovely. We were on the second floor and used the world’s smallest lift to there… made us laugh but may be scared for some 😂 With a bit of investment and cleaning of windows and the outside it would prob be very popular!

Had a lovely overnight stay in a spacious twin room after visiting Port Lympne Reserve. Beds were very comfy, pillows fluffy, room spotless, sheets felt nice and silky. Lovely spot on the beach with free parking. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending, exceeded expectations, room was light and airy with big window overlooking the sea.

Basic ..clean no atmosphere. Says on website toiletries and ironing board in room . Not you have ask on reception if anyone there. Bed very comfortable. But thats it I'd never stay again. No food served nothing. Reception staff on booking in was lovely. But booking out was like talking to the wall. Then found out the room we booked was 128.00 absolute rip off because a walk in got same for 60.00

Arrived had a friendly welcome, a lot of rooms so thought would be noisy but it actually wasn’t. The restaurant was under development so was out of use but still had a seperate bar could use. Great location, room was very clean and cosy Only two things that was a little annoying was the water pressure in shower and taps wasn’t very good and when sleeping at night every time someone flushed, it was like a waste pipe was right outside our wall so kept hearing through the night.

The seaside view was truly pleasant and offered a peaceful spot to relax. The rooms were clean and satisfactory, providing a comfortable stay. It’s a nice experience for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by the sea. The staff was friendly, which added to the positive atmosphere. Stayed last weekend, had booked small double as planned to just sleep at hotel as attending events nearby. Small double room extremely small and the double bed is fixed against the wall and access obstructed from bottom of bed so anyone on the inside would need to physically clamber over the other person to get out of bed. The staff tried to be helpful and were friendly although limited by high occupancy rate so we ended up paying for an upgrade to a larger sea-view room. This room was very hot (as weather was good!) as no air conditioning and the window was restricted to opening to a few inches. There was just a small fan to keep us cool at night. The advertised toiletries consisted of shower gel and hand-soap dispenser so might want to take your own. Overall very poor value.

We booked this hotel to be close to the leshuttle and were all so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. Right on the beach, with the most incredible views. A fab beach bar restaurant just next door & a 10 minute drive to leshuttle. The hotel itself was clean, fresh and the staff absolutely wonderful. Great bar available with huge selection of wines & other drinks & lovely seating areas both inside and out. Great value for money too. Our room was spacious, very clean & had everything we needed. It was on 2 floors too so brilliant if you’re travelling with children & want separate spaces. It took a while for us to park but when we did it was just outside the hotel & completely free so cannot complain! This morning we walked 10 minutes down the seafront to a place called The Lazy Shack (as recommended by the hotel) for breakfast - absolutely superb 👌 Overall, absolutely superb experience. We’d definitely go back & can highly recommend.

My experience was awful First I paid in full in advance and was asked on arrival for a security deposit of £30. I’ve never experienced this before. My room was shoddy and my toilet did not flush. The shower head would fall off under water pressure constantly. Hitting me in the mouth on the first occasion and thereafter had to be held in place. This was reported at approximately 08.30. On my return to the hotel at approximately 18,00 I was told that all was fixed. That was a lie as nothing was done. No working toilet and a defective shower. Absolutely disgraceful to be lied to by the staff. We will never return to the Stade hotel
