I checked in on 30th April in this hotel while on a business trip to Indore. The location is excellent, on AB road near Medanta hospital in Vijaynagar. Connectivity is excellent with all parts of the city. The property is comparatively new and interiors are nicely done. The hotel is divided into A & B wings. The rooms on A wings are near to the AB road and hence less quieter. The rooms are not very large but cozy. The bathrooms are small and not very comfortable. The toiletries are banded and well stocked up. The room service is quick and polite. The food spread in the buffet breakfast is impressive but not very tasty. The same applies for room dining too. The hotel seriously needs to train its staff properly. The staff is disinterested, cold, unresponsive and sometimes plain annoying right from the security guard at the gate, reception desk and at the restaurant. When I checked into the hotel at around 7:30 in the evening, I requested the staff at the reception to extend my stay one more day. The staff checked and informed me that four rooms were available and my stay will be extended. Imagine my surprise when the next morning i.e. on 1st May, when leaving for a meeting, I was informed that I have to check out because the staff in the evening shift had not extended my stay in their computer system and the rooms had been sold out. They even had the audacity to sermon me that I should have checked with the reception staff in the morning itself. Overall a good building, great location but very poor & substandard service. Recommended only if one can put up with cold & unhelpful staff and low standard of service but with good building & location.
