Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Interlaken District

We considered to stay during five nights in a wonderful place like Brienz, and we choose the Alpenrose thanks to some good recommendations from friends We stayed in one of the traditinal hauses they manage next to the Hotel, and we enjoyed a wonderful stay, all in the appartment was very clean, both kitchen utensils and bed linens in perfect stay and cleans, Breakfast was included in price and was fantastic, not a huge breakfast buffet, but the most important, the quality of food, some of them made by them like jams and marmalades, next to a superb friendly and helpful service from the members of family owners of the complex.

We booked Jungfrau Hotel at first didn't know that it's not in the same area. We had to check-in and get the key from Jungfrau Hotel and walk to Alpine Inn. There was no staff at the Alpine Inn, no telephone, if there is any problem we had to send them an email and wait for them to reply. We stayed there for 3 nights and the staff did not refill the amenities (shampoo, bath gel, coffee, tea etc) on the second and third day, we had to email the reception but still the HK staff did not do it until our departure date and 3 emails. The room was quite cold in winter as they used old radiator. The views and the village were amazing, we were on the second floor and had mountain views including Jungfrau from our window. There is a big seating area on the balcony, which I guess would be really nice to sit during summer. The room itself was quite big, clean with all amenities. The second floor has no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. After check-out we can leave the luggage at The Jungfrau and go for a little sightseeings before come back for our luggage. Wilderswil is a beautiful village, not far from Interlaken, not busy with tourists, not as expensive and can easily travel to Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald or other cities. We had to ask the staff during check-in for the travelling card for the free transportation in the area which they should automatically given us when we paid the city tax.

The hotel is really confortable, clean and beautiful. The staff super friendly and always there to make your stay confortable. The breakfast was delicious and different each day. We enjoy a dinner at the hotel and we spend a pleasant night in family. And is so close to the center, 10 min walking. I fully recommed this hotel!!!!

I love this place and can’t recommend it enough. This is the second time I stayed— once last summer for 3 days and then for over a week now, in June 2024 (solo both times). I needed a bit of a break from life and unplug, and the kindness and hospitality of the staff made my stay feel like a home away from home. If you feel hesitant about booking due to lack of amenities like fridge or microwave in rooms, I can assure you it’s not an issue nor burden. Again, I stayed here for 8 days and was perfectly fine and able without either! I didn’t even need them. I also left very early before breakfast (crack of dawn) and the staff was so kind to pack me a breakfast and even some sandwiches. I hadn’t even asked! The home away from home feeling here is unmatched.

We stayed in the gallery apt 10 which was the perfect size for our family. The hotel is located close to the train station and in the heart of everything. The apartments are actually in the building behind the hotel but we thought that worked out better than being on the main street. The staff was always nice. The breakfast was the same everyday but that was okay with us because we just wanted to eat quickly to get to our adventures! Now here are the pros and cons in our opinion! Pros: -ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VIEW FROM THIS APARTMENT 10! We sat outside on our balcony every evening and just marveled at the beauty of the mountains. -Love the balcony -Having the small kitchen was very nice especially to go to COOP and get some food, drinks, snacks - Breakfast included - Bathroom was nice - Apartment was clean Cons: - There is no air conditioning so if it's warm then you must keep the windows open. Unfortunately, you do hear noise from the hotel restaurants nearby. However, everything seems to quiet down by 10:30. - Our son ended up sleeping in the bed upstairs because my husband and I were very concerned about going up/down the stairs inside the apartment. They were unusually shaped. I would definitely recommend staying here especially in the apartments.

The hotel is located about 650m from Interlaken West station. It is a direct, flat and easy enough walk, even dragging suitcases behind you. It is an old, traditional style building, with 2 sections - front and rear - with the rear section possibly a bit quieter than the front, from a traffic perspective, but the road is not overly busy anyway. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable. We (a couple) were upgraded to a family room (mezzanine second bedroom) in the rear section, although the main area was still relatively small. The room had a balcony, which is always nice, but no fridge or air con. Two portable fans were in the room and these were needed, in conjunction with an open balcony door, given the days were hot and nights warm. However, the important things were good - a comfortable bed and a good shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly; the predominantly cold breakfast was quite reasonable; there was a bar/lounge on the ground floor of the rear section; the Old Town was a 10 minute walk and there were a number of restaurants within the same 10 minute walk, so the location was fine. All in all, although not really modern, it was comfortable and it provided a pleasant stay.

I've been coming to Regina for several decades. It has always been a home away from home. It is one of very few hotels that has managed to keep the luxury and allure throughout many years. They adhere to a very high standard on every level. For many it might feel antiquated, but if you're looking for something that is truly unique, that has stood the test of time and is not just another generic modern day luxury hotel, this is the place to be. There's not many hotels where you can sit in a lounge by a warm log fire, playing a board game while a pianist is playing. It's a hotel that is filled with history, warmth and kindness.

We got the private room with shared toilet and shower - everything is clean and nice.. we even have a balcony!! The hostel has a jacuzzi, a relaxation room, a bar/club, great kitchen and big lounge / backyard area. We really enjoyed the activities they have - we joined the sunset swim and hiking to the waterfalls. Will surely book here again when in Interlaken ❤️

Good hotel location, near the train station. Enjoyed the hotel breakfast provided as well.

Location is great. Room is clean , ladies at front desk are nice,, HOWEVER, it seems that the lady who serves coffee at breakfast does not want to serve people who are not from the western countries, she only ask to take drink order from other people even they come later, and this happened to quite a few people… what a bummer of the nice stay, or even the whole trip :(
