Visitors to Dali City will find that the Jiatu Scenic Hotel (Dali Erhai Park Railway Station) is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Dali Railway Station just 4km away and Dali Fengyi Airport only 12km away, transportation is very convenient. This hotel is located near many of Dali City's attractions including Erhai Park Archway, Long Mountain Park and Plateau Pearl Tower. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Dali City hotel features parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"We had a bit of a disappointing experience at the Jiatu Scenic Hotel. The room listing states ‘lake view’ so we booked that room, however, it turns out that this room does not face the lake and has an internal car par window instead. The listing photos conveniently have the net curtains of the windows drawn so you can’t see this from the inside photos.
The receptionist insisted the Trip.com listing was accurate because the hotel was near the lake and therefore a ‘lake view’. They would not change us to a room with the lake view that we believed we booked, despite having multiple lake-view rooms available and us checking in at 10.30pm. They insisted the only way we could change the room was to cancel our booking (and incur a 50% cancellation fee) and rebook the more expensive ‘sea-view’ room instead. We contacted Trip.com who spoke to the hotel also but they were unwilling to help or move us, despite the room not matching the listing description. Trip themselves were very helpful and offered us some compensation.
In the end we stayed in the room we’d booked with no lake view. The room itself was lovely and spacious, had storage options and was clean and tidy. If we’d booked knowing this didn’t have a lake view then it would have been perfect!
The location is near the station which is great if you’re there for one night, however we were there for 2 nights and had to travel 40 minutes to get to Dali Old Town or the 28 bends ecological corridor, so personally if I were to come to Dali again I would choose a hotel in that location instead. It is worth noting that the hotel is across the road from the lake, so you can see cars and the road even in the lakeside view rooms."

"We will be back! This felt like a home away from home, except it had such a wonderful view of the lake. The host was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the railway station, which was very handy for us as we came over from Kunming and then went back. You're close to many of the central places and with DiDi taxi, it's super easy to get around from here. We will for sure book here again; we're already planning a visit back."

"Great experience at this hotel. Hotel is very clean and offers great view of Erhai. Erhai is easily accessible via the backgate. Owner is very friendly, helpful and responsive. Service is excellent. He provided clear guide for us to reach the hotel. He offered to pick us up from the main road and even helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs. He also gave us free upgrade to a bigger room. It was raining the day we left, the owner ensured we had already booked didi before driving us and our luggage to the main road. Highly recommend this hotel 👍🏼"

"The room was quite spacious and clean. The hotel was also located near some great photo spots. There were many beautiful cafes nearby. I thought the hotel had a swimming pool, but it turns out the pool is only available for certain room types.However, it's too cold for swimming 😄. A shuttle car was available to pick you to and from the hotel and the gate . Breakfast at the hotel had two options: Chinese rice noodles and Western Spaghetti & Omelette, and they were tasty. The housekeeper Xiao Luo and Fei Fei are very helpful Xixi in explaining via WeChat as we don't understand Chinese."

Facilities: The room design has a Greek flair, making it feel very cozy. The in-room lighting and other amenities are smart-controlled.
Cleanliness: The hygiene was quite good.
Environment: The hotel is located in Xiaowan Village, offering beautiful scenery and a quiet location. You can enjoy views of Fuxian Lake from the room.
Service: We arrived by car around 9:30 PM. Unable to find parking, we contacted the hotel, and a staff member warmly greeted us at the entrance. However, due to the New Year's Eve crowds, there wasn't enough parking, so we had to park elsewhere. The hotel promised to cover the parking fee. After checking out, I showed them the parking payment screenshot, and they asked for my QR code for payment. However, from check-out at 10:30 AM until I got home at 9:00 PM, I still hadn't received the reimbursed parking fee.
Complimentary fruit, tea, Americano coffee: Since we arrived late, I didn't have coffee at night and asked the hotel if I could have it the next morning. They agreed, stating coffee was available from 8 AM to 11 PM. However, when I messaged them at 8:30 AM the next day asking for two coffees, they said they would deliver them at 10 AM. They were never delivered, even by 10:30 AM check-out. The other fruits and tea were also not provided.
Overall, the hotel's environment, cleanliness, and breakfast were good, but the service attitude was quite casual. They failed to deliver on their promise to cover the parking fee (20 RMB) and provide the complimentary coffee.

Very satisfied with a trip, stayed at the favorite hotel, took beautiful photos. Just arrived at the entrance of the hotel, the front desk lady enthusiastically came to help with the luggage and sent it to the room. The environment was also very good. When I saw the garden, I knew that this trip would be over the screen circle of friends. I took a good photo and saw the sunset on the roof terrace in the middle of the night. In the evening, Miss Sister also sent us fruit and milk, recommended local characteristics, and the taste was good. The breakfast on the second day was very rich and the taste was super good, especially the rice noodles. I like it very much. I will come to their house next time.

The room is very large, close to Hilton, belonging to the property management of Sun Mountain Resort, very safe. You can see a very beautiful lake view from the balcony. It has been raining these days. The surrounding forest hillsides are surrounded by clouds and mist. It is very beautiful! It is very convenient to play around. Several net red check-in points in Sun Mountain Resort are worth visiting. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive. I will stay here next time!
