Lovely hotel, what really makes it is the staff.
Comfort of Sleep: Good, soft, nice pillows and heavy duvet.
Temperature: It is hard to make the room cool without keeping the door open.
Breakfast: Quite a limited selection compared to other hotels. If breakfast is not included, I would not pay for it and go to Starbucks or CO-OP within 1 minutes walk.
The staff are really the thing that makes it though, we even were given chocolate on arrival and a small bottle of Prosecco for New Year's Eve with a handwritten card to welcome us and help us plan our NYE.

Everything is very good. Close to the Zurich Main Station, clean and neat room and bathroom, with ”help yourself” coffee in the corridor. The air-con was well functioning that I had good sleep staying here. The only thing was the pillow quite soft but still acceptable.

入住時發生了驚魂一幕——由於航班晚點，夜裡將近12點才到的酒店，一個男性前台工作人員給了308、309兩間房。我和朋友兩家人分別刷卡進房時，發現2間客房裡都已有客人，都是中國客人而且已入睡，彼此都大驚失色、尷尬不已。回到前台，工作人員也十分尷尬，一個勁道歉，又不知將電話打給了誰，一通漫長的德語電話後，重新給了兩間房，其中一間升級成了132景觀套房。房間很大很漂亮，唯一的美中不足是，房間太大，上廁所有點有點繞。
另外兩個洗臉枱的下水都有點堵，擰開左邊的水龍頭下水塞子，發現裏面卡了一個硬硬的東西，看起來很臟，應該是堵了很久了。不知為啥一直沒人反映和修復，我把塞子拿開了，希望酒店能夠發現並清理。其它都挺好，酒店很先進，所有控制開關都是觸摸屏，也有空調，但是沒能啟用，不過還好不是太熱。
必須稱讚早餐很豐富，十分不錯，也很乾凈衞生。總體上來説是個值得推薦的酒店！

Hotel yang sangat bagus, semua kemudahannya hebat dengan dapur terbuka yang bagus. Pasar raya besar berdekatan supaya senang untuk memasak sendiri. Hanya beberapa minit berjalan kaki dari stesen kereta api. Mungkin mesti tinggal lagi jika saya boleh datang Zürich lagi!!!

프런트가 친절했으며 짐 보관이 되었다는 리뷰가 많은데 셀프 체크인이였고 따라서 짐 보관도 불가했다 트립닷컴의 설명 어디에서도 그걸 찾기 힘들었다.
예상과 다른 점… 국가번호까지 해서 핸드폰 번호를 잘 적었음에도 셀프 체크인에 필요한 메시지는 오지 않았고 마침 중앙 출입구 문이 수리 중이였기에 들어가서 전화를 걸고 안내를 받을 수 있었지 아니였으면 문밖에서 별 방도 없이 나오거나 들어가는 사람을 기다렸다가 내선전화를 했을 수도 있을 거 같다.
여기 트릿닷컴에 적은정보가 호텔 체크인이랑 잘 연동이 되지 않는 거 같다. 이메일도 전화번호도 멋대로 써 있었다. 심지어 나는 중국인도 아닌데 중국 번호가 내 번호로 되어 있었음. 짐보관도 안 됐는데 체크인 시간에 가니 아직도 청소가 안 되어서 못 들어간다고 했다. 체크인 가능시간 1시간 30분 전도 후에나 들어간 거 같다. 4:30 넘어서? 그러나 죄송하다거나 하는 사과는 없었고 그냥 5분 기다려라 10분 기다려라 그게 다였다. 시간 지나서 왔는데 더 기다리라니 당황…

Отель расположен в тихом районе. Вокруг банки, кафе и рестораны, есть где покушать. Магазины также, все в пешей доступности. До аэропорта или ж.д. вокзала ехать 30 минут. Комнаты маленькие но уютные. Из минусов - нет множественных наборов гигиены. Отель достоин своих денег!

The room was very clean and spacious, with all amenities including a hair dryer.
The aesthetics of the restaurant/breakfast area was very beautiful and a wide variety of choices for breakfast.

RRonan PatrickNice hotel just outside the main area of Zurich. Room was a bit expensive considering it was small and had a shared bathroom. Maybe it was just Zurich prices, or the fact that Taylor Swift was in town and lots of places week booked up. Good tram system meant it was still easy to get around. Room was a bit hot at night and there was construction going on literally outside my window in the morning with the builders blaring their music in my window.

We went out for city tour in the morning and when we come back to the room in the afternoon, our room is like being robbed, 3 out of 4 suitcases are missing, the bathroom is only half way clean, balcony door left open, most clothes hanging in the wardrobe are missing. I called front office immediately and i have been told that housekeeping had found the door of wardrobe is broken and has a risk of falling, so for safety reason, therefore, they have transferred our suitcases to the new room.
so here are the question:
1. Why there are only half of my belongings are being transferred to the new room? You either transferred all my belongings to the new room, but not just half of it, it is so scary when you back to your room which it is like a crime scene!
2. Is it normal for a luxury hotel to touch guest's personal belonging without permission of the guest?
3. If the hotel find it a safety issue inside the room, why do they still let the guest go into the room? That kind of put the guest in a dangerous environment that may get injured!
4. Have the hotel ever tried to contact the guest, by phone/email of such incident had happened in the room? or worst case, to stop me to get in to the room, when i passed by front desk before get back to the room? none of it had been done
In short, this is not acceptable for any hotel, not talking about Ameron is a luxury brand, the hotel has poor risk management, this is my first time using this brand and I don't think there will be a second chance, terrible experience and even on the checked out date, no one care to ask how was my stay.

FFrancisco VicenteGood location, only 20 minutes walking from the main train station and 9 minutes in public transport with several options to travel around the city. They allow you to use their microwave and kitchenware if you bring your own food.
Breakfast does not worth for the price you paid.
Highly recommended if you are coming to Zurich for few days.

OOleksiyPerfectly located within easy reach of the train station , major tourist attractions of the city and a large supermarket . Upon arrival we were cordially greeted by a receptionist with an absolutely lovely sense of humor. The hotel is small but it has all the things you’d need for a short stay. Will book again if we ever travel to Zurich again!

PPengguna TetamuWe just have 1 bottle water free in 1 room for for 3 person, even we stayed for 3 night...only in the first night we had 1 bottle water free..We suggest that if posible give 1 bottle water for 1 person everyday/night...and the tissue just 1 box only 1 time for 3 nights staying.

AAngelinchinaThis hostel is clean and conveniently located, close to the main touristic attractions and the main train station. Shared bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The room is comfortable.
However - the hostel is just next door to a bar, so it’s very noisy until the bar closes (on a Friday night is 2AM). checkout time is at 10AM, which is not only unusual but very inconvenient.
I won’t be staying in this hotel when I return to Zurich

The staff were polite and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and addressing any questions promptly. Overall, it's a good choice for a short stay or for those prioritizing location and value.”

MMoAngusI was plagued with trepidation before staying at the Swiss Star California. I had read some negative comments on Google Maps and trip.com, and the dread of what might go wrong loomed heavy over me. However, as fate would have it, my fears were unwarranted - the hotel, or rather, the service apartment, turned out to be a pleasant surprise and surpassed my expectations.
The room was clean, well-equipped, and not too shabby. The heater functioned perfectly, which was a relief since it was a frosty February in Zurich. They had everything one would expect from a basic hotel room.
But here's a word of caution: after booking your stay, make sure to check your email. You will receive a message from the hotel, not just a confirmation, containing the passcode and room number. Without this information, you might find yourself stranded outside the door, with no one to receive your calls or help with check-in. Trust me; I know how it feels to be left out in the cold, frantically seeking assistance from Trip.com.
Furthermore, if you have a lot of luggage, you may want to pray for a room on the ground or first floor. Unfortunately, there is no lift in the building.
However, let's not forget that this is one of the most affordable places to stay in Zurich. With that in mind, who could realistically expect luxury amenities and top-notch service? All in all, Swiss Star California proved to be a pleasant surprise and an excellent value for the price.
