Renovated in 2025, the Yading Zhaxi Kongshu Tibetan Culture Theme Hotel is a great choice for accommodation in Daocheng County. This hotel is located near many of Daocheng County's attractions including Daocheng County Yading Balala Cultural Museum, Shano Dorje and Daocheng Yading Viewing Platform. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with friends.
"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Even though most of us don’t speak Chinese, one of our friends is Chinese and helped communicate with them. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel their sincerity and excellent service. They came to pick us up from the bus station, helped with our luggage and check-in, and even offered us welcome tea when we arrived. The lady we believe to be the owner was always smiling and going around to make sure everyone felt at home. She gave us excellent advice on how to trek safely in Yading. On our second day, when we decided to take a shorter route, she thoughtfully suggested that we prepare our luggage in advance and simply message her. She then arranged for our bags to be loaded and sent ahead from the nearest hotel bus stop, saving us the trouble of returning to the hotel ourselves. Such warm hospitality and thoughtful service made our stay truly special. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Yading National Reserve!"

My Driver was great person who showed me places on the way and also helped me to click photos. The Hotel staff attends to your requirements with enthusiasm. The Rooms are big. Rooms have heated floorings. The Natural Spring area is a Public bath with different types of Pools. Some room too have Pool with water from the Natural Hot Spring. The hotel's Campus is the CITY BUS STOP to the Airport."

"The hotel is just right near the ticket office 3 minutes by walking. The room was clean and warm providing a full set of amenities, an electric blanket, and also the oxygen machine. All of the staff have the best service minds, one of them gave me a lot of suggestions before I arrived through WeChat and also prepared a taxi to pick me up at the bus station at late night. Another one gave me good taking care since I got a serious headache when I arrived hotel, he gave me and installed an oxygen machine which helped me feel better eventually. I do appreciate it and waiting to go back again."

"This was a perfect place to spend the night in Daocheng before a flight the next morning. It is only a 15 minute walk away from the White Pagoda, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were very helpful with figuring out logistics for getting to the airport and recommending activities and restaurants in the area (Make sure to have WeChat set up). One of the ladies spoke fairly good English too. My one complaint is that the tap water seemed to have a slight brown hue to it, especially when using warm/hot water. This showed up in both the sink and shower. Thus, I did not want to use the tap water to brush my teeth or to filter for drinking, which has not been a concern of mine anywhere else in China. Because I usually use a water filter to drink the tap, I did not have extra bottled water prepared beforehand. Some is provided, but if you think you'll use/drink a lot of water (as I do, especially because of how dry it is in Daocheng), buy some extra beforehand."

"I've got upgraded to a bigger room on the third floor. The hotel owner was very helpful carried our luggages up to our room (hotel has no lift). Initially I've booked for two nights, later extended one more night because of experiencing the high altitude sickness and help to contact another hotel for booking cancellation. He and his wife help us plan and advice the trip to Yading National Reserved, free laundry, contact the hotel in Chengdu for luggage storage before the trip to Jiuzhaiguo, booked tickets for mode of transportation that save money to the next town and drop us at bus station for free. Thank you very mush for an impressive and excellent service."

"I had high expectations for this hotel, given its 5-star rating. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet that standard. I had booked five rooms. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and there was a queue for check-in with only one staff member at the counter. As a result, the service quality was poor. The process was not smooth and was frequently interrupted by other guests. Upon heading to our rooms, we found the hotel corridor lights were not turned on. The dark corridors made it difficult to locate our room numbers. To our disappointment, one of the rooms was not ready. While we would understand an early check-in issue at 2:00 PM, finding an unprepared room at 6:30 PM is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The overall service was a major letdown. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and spacious, breakfast has a good selection."

Camp fire dance was not available as described, I know it's cold and low season, but if you can't offer it, do you promise it. 3. A bit far from downtown area. 4. I was downgraded to a small window room, without telling me, only after I requested to change back to my original booking. The property has only 1 double bedroom with large windows, but in the booking process, I can book two double bedrooms with large windows. 5. There is no elevator."

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel has the best location in Yading village in my opinion. It's located right at the bus stop no. 3 - very comfortable as you don't have to drag your luggages around. It even has a lovely tiny garden in front of the lounge area which make the view look even prettier from the lounge/reataurant. The rooms are facing Xiannairi mountain and Chonggu temple. We can just chill in the room while enjoying the snow capped mountain view The room has heating floor, humidifier and oxygen generator, making you feel comfortable during the stay. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the front desk. Most importantly, their restaurant cooked many good dishes and they serve coffee! I will definitely stay here if I come back to Yading village.

PPengguna TetamuVisiting Yading nature reserve is a once in a lifetime experience and staying in the village itself was a must for me. This hotel must have one of the best views in Yading village. It's situated right at the top of the village. The location is convenient right next to bus stop 1. The front desk staff member Simone is very responsive and will try her best to help with anything you need. There is a lot of options for breakfast and the food tastes great. The rooms are really bright and comfortable. The shower is great and the hot water comes quickly. They provide tea for free and 2 bottles of drinking water. Above all I think the price of the room is really great value.

IIga ProckaBeautiful stay in the heart of Yading Village This hotel is absolutely beautiful – the owners have really thought of every detail. It’s tastefully decorated and located right in the center of Yading Village, with stunning mountain views all around. There’s even a rooftop terrace where you can relax and take in the scenery. Our room was spotless and had a great vibe – cozy, clean, and comfortable. The owners were amazing and incredibly helpful when we weren’t sure how to get to the trail. Their kindness made a big difference to our trip. There’s also a restaurant in the hotel – we had dinner there and it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is served buffet-style with a wide variety of options, all fresh and very tasty. Another big plus: there’s a grocery store right next to the hotel, perfect for picking up snacks before heading out for a hike. We highly recommend this place – it made our stay in Yading truly special.

AAbigail WebbIt was okay. Would not book again. Unfortunately, this was one of our worse stays in China during our month long travel. There was an unfortunate plumbing issue (that they had no control over, totally understandable) but they moved us to a different room not listed with not as good of a view. And after asking and having to personally message the boss via WeChat received a 10% discount. The room was not very clean. Leftover tissues and hair in corners from the pervious person. The walls were thin enough to hear the neighbors. And we arrived to breakfast 30minutes after it started and there was very little left. I would be more gracious but this was also the most expensive place we stayed at. Did not meet my standards and would not stay here again.

GGabbfernandaI stayed at Aden Zhishanxia Hotel while visiting Yading Nature Reserve, and the biggest advantage is definitely the location. Since the hotel is located inside the nature reserve, it is very convenient if you plan to do the hike over two days instead of rushing everything in one day. I arrived quite early, around 10 AM, and the owner kindly allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated after the long journey. The hotel is also located right at Bus Stop No. 3, so you can get off the shuttle bus directly in front of the hotel without needing to walk far with your luggage. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with modern smart appliances. My room also had a beautiful mountain view. Even if you are not into hiking, I think this place is nice enough for a relaxing staycation inside the scenic area. There is also a grocery store next to the hotel where you can buy snacks, drinks, instant food, or other supplies for your hike, which is very convenient.

LLaurentontherunRight in the center of Xiangelila town, 2min walk from supermarkets restaurants and even a Dicos! It's right on the road that will take you straight to the main entrance to Yading Scenic Area (about 6km, taxi 40RMB or 10RMB per person if carpooling). During check-in the nice ******* lady at reception upgraded my room at no extra cost. Place is clean above usual Chinese standards. If you want a heater is 5RMB per night, but the electric blanket was sufficient. Water is warm, but not scalding (personally I only take showers at +45 degrees, but it was enough to wash my face without discomfort). I was very happy with my stay so next morning I booked another night, rather than staying in Yading town. When I returned very late at night, and owing to my pickiness when it comes to food, the lady at the desk made me quick and delicious fried rice and wouldn't accept my money no matter how many times I offered. I would have stayed another night if I didn't have to leave next morning. Thanks for everything, I'll be back one day!

Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation. The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great. The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong.
