Cari Hotel 3-Star di Daocheng

This was the perfect place to stay inside of Yading Village. If you can handle the altitude, I can't recommend it enough. It was much easier to access the activities within the scenic area, as you avoid the 45 minute bus ride from Shangri-la Town/Riwa into the scenic area. Plus, staying overnight at altitude helps your body adapt and reduced the likelihood of altitude sickness in the higher parts of the scenic area. Staff did not speak English, but were still very helpful and accommodating. I believe my room was upgraded to a duplex suite, which was massive, especially for the price I paid. The view from the room was absolutely incredible, I only wish the windows were cleaner so that I could see it more clearly. But there is a courtyard on the top level that is perfect for taking photos and admiring the view, especially at golden hour. The one cleanliness comment I have is that I wish the trash can in the toilet room had a lid, as it started to smell a bit despite being emptied daily.

The hotel has the best location in Yading village in my opinion. It's located right at the bus stop no. 3 - very comfortable as you don't have to drag your luggages around. It even has a lovely tiny garden in front of the lounge area which make the view look even prettier from the lounge/reataurant. The rooms are facing Xiannairi mountain and Chonggu temple. We can just chill in the room while enjoying the snow capped mountain view The room has heating floor, humidifier and oxygen generator, making you feel comfortable during the stay. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the front desk. Most importantly, their restaurant cooked many good dishes and they serve coffee! I will definitely stay here if I come back to Yading village.

Wow, what a hotel! It’s 1min walking from the 2nd stop of the tourist shuttle you take when you want to enter the scenic area. The view from the window and the rooftop is incredible! The team was extremely kind and helpful and even prepared vegan food for us and upgraded us. Inside the room, there’s a humidifier and electric blanket - perfect for a cosy evening after a long day of hiking. There’s also a little supermarket next door that has everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay here! The owner was so friendly and made me feel so at home. The decor exuded a unique charm that reflected the name of the hotel, with many traditional and lotus themed decorations throughout . It’s situated very conveniently, close to the bus station and many restaurants and shops. With that said, it’s tucked away from the main street so there’s no noise to disturb your rest. There’s also a really cute dog!

I stayed here for 7 nights and was truly impressed. The hotel uses high-quality materials throughout the rooms—they’re new, clean, and very comfortable. There’s even an oxygen concentrator and a smart toilet, which made a big difference at high altitude. The price is very reasonable for what you get. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, not crowded at all—perfect for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature. The location is very convenient, right at Bus Stop No. 3, making it easy to get around. There is also a small grocery shop next to the hotel, which is very handy. The staff can communicate in English and provide excellent service. They were incredibly helpful with everything—from phone chargers to trekking poles and many other small details that made the stay easier. The hotel also has a restaurant with delicious food. I have some food allergies, and the chef was kind enough to adjust the dishes to suit my needs. If I have the chance to visit Yading again, I would definitely choose to stay here. 💖

Good service, clean and welcome to explain how to travel on their village. Local breakfast as natural and nature. I like and recommended this hotel.

酒店位於景區遊客中心不遠的公路旁，門口有一個較大的停車場，對自駕客人十分方便。客人從酒店出發，步行七八分鐘即可到達景區入口。房間乾淨整潔，並配備有製氧機。酒店人員的服務態度很好，能結合客人自身的身體狀態提出針對性強的實用的遊覽方案建議。

The hotel is located directly behind Yading bus station and it's perfect to rest after a long transportation from the bus. The room is clean and equipped with everything you need for a stay. But if you want to go up to Yading, you might need a shuttle bus, or a local taxi to take you to the entrance. There are many shops and restaurants, just a few walk from the hotel. The staff here is very helpful and friendly, although the stationed staff might not be able to communicate in English.

I'm Thai and this is my first time visiting here. I'm deeply impressed and truly grateful. A staff member was very helpful, making my trip here smooth and enjoyable. The room was beautiful and fully equipped with amenities. I will definitely come back to stay again!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is perfectly located, just 350 meters from the entrance of the Yading scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The host was exceptionally kind and went out of their way to help us arrange taxis whenever we needed like to Yading bus station. The facilities were great, and the heated beds were a highlight, ensuring we stayed warm and comfortable despite the cold weather. I highly recommend this place to any fellow travelers planning a visit to Yading; it truly made our trip even better!
