We had such an amazing experience at this Disney hotel, and I truly feel like this property deserves every bit of praise. My husband, our 6 kids, and I traveled all the way from Orlando, Florida in America, and after such a big trip, staying somewhere this welcoming, clean, and well-run meant so much to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made such a strong impression on me. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful. It did not feel fake or forced at all, it felt like they truly cared about making sure our stay was comfortable and special. One thing I really want to mention is that even with us traveling from America, the language barrier was honestly not hard at all when dealing with the staff. That was something I truly appreciated. Everyone was so kind, so patient, and so willing to help that communication never felt stressful. They made everything feel easy and comfortable, and that meant a lot, especially traveling with a big family and small children. No matter what we needed, they did their best to help us understand and made sure we felt taken care of. That level of effort, patience, and kindness goes a very long way, and they really made us feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond in so many little ways, and those things really added up. Any time I had a question, needed help, or wasn’t sure about something, someone was there with a smile, ready to help without hesitation. That kind of service stands out, especially when you are traveling with family, and it made such a huge difference for us. They were not just “nice” .They were the kind of staff that makes you stop and think, wow, these people really care. You can feel when people are just doing a job, and you can also feel when people are truly making an effort to give guests a great experience. This staff absolutely did that. Now let me talk about the cleanliness, because honestly this is one of the cleanest hotel properties and rooms I have ever seen in my life. I do not say that lightly. The moment we walked in, everything looked absolutely spotless. Not just tidy, not just “good enough,” but truly immaculate. The room looked fresh, polished, and cared for in a way that is hard to explain unless you see it for yourself. Every surface looked pristine. The floors were clean, the bathroom was shining, the bedding felt fresh and perfectly maintained, and the entire room gave that rare feeling of being deeply, properly cleaned. There was not that uneasy hotel feeling some places have where you start wondering what has or has not really been cleaned. This place felt the complete opposite. It felt sanitized, refreshed, and cared for to the highest standard. The room was so clean that it immediately made us feel comfortable enough to fully relax. When you are staying with children, cleanliness matters even more, and this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. I noticed the details, and the details matter. The bathroom was spotless, the beds looked crisp and fresh, the furniture was clean, the floors looked amazing, and the whole room felt like it had been cleaned with real care and pride. Even beyond the room itself, the entire property was unbelievably clean. That is what impressed me so much. Usually a hotel might have a nice room, but the hallways, common areas, elevators, or grounds do not always match that same level of care. Here, the cleanliness was consistent everywhere. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and you could clearly tell that cleanliness is taken seriously at every level. Everything looked so well-kept, so polished, and so intentionally maintained that it honestly made the whole stay feel even more luxurious and relaxing. It is such a good feeling to be able to fully settle in and enjoy your stay without noticing dirt, neglect, or things being overlooked. This hotel gave us that peace of mind completely. Wanita di meja depan hotel sangat baik dan mengambil inisiatif untuk membantu kami mengatur bilik di kawasan Chaoyang. This hotel is very beautiful and nicely located at the Suzhou River. Excellent view of the river along with the view of the Oriental Pearl Tower. It has been memorable and will definitely come back to stay again.

I highly appreciate the outstanding concierge service at Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund. Special gratitude goes to Brin, Tom and Rookie. They are polite, responsive and highly professional. They kindly helped handle luggage, arranged transportation and offered practical travel tips around the Bund. Every request was dealt with efficiently and attentively. Their thoughtful care made my stay comfortable and pleasant. I will definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

great hotel to stay when you’re on the budget! the location is good, around like 10-15 mins to the nearest metro station, there’s also a lawson nearby, the room was quite small but the bed was comfortable

The hotel is very best. Near to the train station. And the front desk No.005 she is very kind and very helpfull. She help me alot. From check in until check out. Their service was excellent. Room spacious, very clean. I like this hotel so much. If i travel shanghai again will order this hotel again.

The entrance to the room goes through a shared corridor where a man and a woman live — they often talk loudly and smoke, so it can be noisy and a bit uncomfortable to pass through. The entrance itself looks more like a small shack, which feels quite unpleasant. However, once inside, the staircase is really cool and gives the place a special atmosphere. The location is great — lots of nice cafés and restaurants nearby, and it’s easy to get around. The host was very kind and responsive, always replied quickly, helped with everything, and even refunded the nights I decided not to stay. After checking other options, I realized this place isn’t as bad as I first thought — it has its good sides. The room itself is beautiful, stylish, and pleasant to stay in.
