"The hotel is very far from the city center, at least an hour by metro each way, which was exhausting. The location is really inconvenient. The rooms were clean, but the service was just okay. We reported the broken hairdryer many times, and every time we had to go down to ask for one. Breakfast is overpriced and not worth it for what you get."

"It's a brand new hotel in zona La Sagrera. We stayed for 3 nights and the receptionist was really helpful. They offered us refill water in the lobby. The room with the private bathroom was okay, it was worth the price. The receptionist is 24/7, if you need a hairdryer or ironing board just ask them. They also have a luggage deposit service and everything you can pay by card."

"Very nice hotel. All the staff are very attentive. Best buffet breakfast around. They have personalised egg station which seems to be rarer these days, and have lots of cold and hot food options. Also lots of gluten free options. They also serve curry chicken on the breakfast menu and it was AMAZING. Very good refreshing additional varied option to go with salads etc compared to typical eggs and bacon. This is the second time we came back to this hotel, and the experience is consistently good. On our second stay the only issue we had was with the AC. Everything was working fine but on our third and last day, the AC had switched over to become a heater (no change in the room controls), so ended up in a sweat and had to open the windows. Noticed that they have switched the rooms to all run on heater for the autumn as the city transition to the colder conditions. Would be great if the ac / heater option can be personalised in rooms."

"This small hostel is located on the first floor of a building near shops and restaurants. The rooms are bigger than what the pictures show on Trip.com. There is no breakfast available, but there is a common area with unlimited tea and coffee. My room didn’t have its own bathroom, but I had to use the common one. It was clean and well kept. The receptionists are friendly and kind and try to satisfy guests’ requests. Additionally, the building is located right next to the metro station called ‘Universitat.’"

"The hotel rooms are very comfortable and the hotel staff are also very helpful and friendly. It is a short walk to metro station (3 mins) and the main shopping ***** (5 mins), and if about 20 mins walk to all major attractions. The location is quite good except there are not many eateries around and will have to walk to the main ***** for more choices. There are supermarket everywhere though so sourcing snacks is not a problem."

"I was disappointed with the service at the front desk. During check-in, the staff’s attitude towards me and my elderly mother felt dismissive and unwelcoming. We couldn’t help but feel that we were being treated differently especially from the young lady named started with Lxxxx as I couldn’t fully recalled. I travelled to Europe for a few times and this was my first encounter of feeling such bad experience and totally spoilt my entire mood of my travel journey of the day. That said, the hotel’s cleanliness and amenities were excellent. The room was well-maintained and facilities were very good. I hope management can address the service standards at the front desk, as it does not reflect the otherwise high quality of the hotel"
