MiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's. Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels. The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild. They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc. MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world. The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

Fantastic location, easily walkable to the main attractions and Syntagma Square for airport buses. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. We truly enjoyed our stay at Plaka Hotel.

首先説好的：一個公寓的三層大約共10個房間，位置極佳，交通方便，周邊環境不錯。我們的房間也很大。工作人員熱情。 然後再説不好的：由於15:00手機才能收到開門密碼，在此之前是進不去公寓的，所以想在入住或離店時寄存行李是沒有可能的！一定要注意這個問題。 另外，我們是三個人入住，每天晚上等到第三個人洗澡時已經沒有熱水了，連續三天都是如此，我們一共就住了三晚。 最後我需要糾錯一下，第5張圖片是來自官網的，其實它和這個公寓沒有任何關係！去之前我以為這就是將入住的公寓。

The location is excellent, close to all the main attractions, restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. They also had a roof top bar with great views. Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to go to Athens

Quite modern entrance hall and room (bathroom for disabled was not our choice). Reception friendly and provided good recommendation for late dinner. The first morning I woke up by very loud cleaning personnel. Walls are paper thin and door not soundproof. You hear everything. Breakfast terrace with nice view. Pool terrace too small and only available for some hours if slot pre-booked. Music, food and shisha on the rooftop club/restaurant quite okay.

Very good location, metro station is few minutes away and it is on Airport Blue line route. Shopping and Acropolis are around, central to everything. A rooftop bar with acropolis view and a lower ground storage are a bonus. Though the lift is too small can only accommodate 2 or three people, the breakfast is included.

So, I am very thankful of Bedbox's existence because it really made my trip possible. Earning Southeast Asian's currency with a big ambition to travel on Euro, it wasn't exactly easy to find a good place to stay. I had stayed there for about a week and got to visit all the museums and historical places that I've dreamed about. It was GREAT. However, I do have a few complaints. I feel a bit bad about ranting about them but I believe that the place can do much better if they are willing to make some changes. First, the bathroom situation wasn't the best. For the female's floor, the hair on the drain was not cleared even after the housekeepers had stopped by. The sink was clogged up for a whole day with disgusting tissues swimming around in it. I didn't feel comfortable stepping on the floor sometimes. The bathroom stalls were so small that it was impossible to keep your clothes and towels dry. They had exactly ONE plug point near the bed. ONE. I've stayed in plenty of hostels and dorms, but never one with just one plug point and no USB charging port in sight. We all own more than one devices nowadays (powerbank, phone, airpods, apple watch, laptop ...) and I had to wake up in the middle of the night to make sure that everything's charged for my next day out. Many of their furnitures such as the bed frames, lockers, and tables were rusty. The beanbags's coverings in the public resting area on the second floor weren't washed for ages and they stank. All these shortcomings were slightly forgivable because of their hospitality in the hostel. All the staffs that I've met at the place were absolute angels. They tried their best to accommodate their guests' needs. They were polite, soft-spoken, and gentle. The location is also very ideal, near the market with some authentic local food and excellent fresh meat and vegetables if you plan to make your own meals in their kitchen. It is near a lot museums and historical places, even if you want to avoid using any public transportation it is absolutely walkable. If you want to take the metro, it is only a few minutes walk away. Overall, I was so thankful of the place but also couldn't wait to leave by the end of my stay. It was a mixed bag and you should choose your accommodation based on your priorities.

Disappointing Experience at a 5-Star Hotel Unfortunately, our stay at Divina Hotel did not live up to what we would expect from a 5-star property. There were several small but important details that made the experience disappointing. The room only provided instant coffee sachets, with no complimentary water. We were told that Divani cartons are provided on the first day, but we did not receive any. Instead, we were informed that everything in the minibar/fridge was available for purchase. The toiletries were also empty, including the shampoo, conditioner and lotion. When we raised this, we were told that we should have contacted Reception rather than Housekeeping. However, there is an option to contact Housekeeping directly, and regardless of which department is contacted, these basic amenities should have been checked and replenished before the room was made available to guests. Our room, 348, also had the sofa already opened out as a bed. As there were only two of us staying, this meant we effectively had no sofa to sit on. This was particularly inconvenient and seemed unnecessary. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, meaning the mirror became completely fogged after using the shower. There was also no bathtub, which may not be essential, but is something we would have expected given the hotel’s 5-star positioning. Another concern was the lack of lift security. The key card was not programmed to restrict access to our own floor, meaning anyone could access other levels. For a 5-star hotel, we would expect better security and key-card access controls. There was also no Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ or other streaming services available on the TV, which is increasingly standard in modern hotels. Finally, the in-room tea selection consisted only of black tea, with no herbal tea options. Individually, some of these issues may seem minor, but collectively they made the stay feel much less than what we expected from a 5-star hotel. The biggest disappointment was that many of these are basic amenities and service standards that should be addressed without guests having to repeatedly contact different departments. Overall, we expected a much higher level of attention to detail and guest experience from Divina Hotel.

値段の割には良い滞在だった。駅から近く、タオルは毎日交換され、すぐそば（斜め前）に安くて美味しいケバブ屋がある。フロントのごつい男性はとても親切だった。 ただし、まず場所はあまり良くない。駅からホテルまでの道は夜中でなければそれほど心配ないが、女性にはオススメしない。そして、ホテルを背にして右に3ブロックほど行くと、マニラのスラム街なみの危険地帯に行き着く。麻薬中毒者だらけ。 あと、部屋にはシャンプーや歯ブラシ類は無し。それから、シャワーカーテンがないため、どれだけ上手く入ってもトイレはびしょびしょになる。 でも、値段を考えれば許せる。そんなホテル。
