"To start with the hotel rooms do not look anything like the photos on the website unfortunately they are very plain which isn’t the issue just abit disappointing. We booked a superior twin room and was first given a tiny standard single size room. I complained because not only was the room wrong but it had mould and smelt musty and dirty. The concierge said they had a double took me up to look for at it on the 7th floor but the electric wasn’t working on that level due to a storm that previous evening (storm not their fault) so we went back down had a look and said the room next to us is available and is a triple sized room 3 single beds, you would think ok perfect that’s more like it… WRONG… the walls were damp at the plugs and towels were left on the floor because it was leaking. Still bigger than the first room tho. We went down for breakfast which was actually quite pleasant considering and was called over to say they are cleaning a superior twin room for us should we want it (no s**t Sherlock that is what we paid for… which did smell fresh and was clean and best part the room we actually booked with the obvious as stated still nothing decorated wise as the pictures but we got there kind of in the end. First photo is what’s pictured when booking pic 2 and 3 was the first room given (single) pic 4 is the triple room (zoom in) with the damp wall round the plug sockets and final pic was the sound you can see is what we should have had to start with minus the decor. I have never had to complain about a room in all my years travelling."

"I recently stayed at Ermass Modern Living Apartments in Athens and overall had a pleasant experience. The property is in a very good and central location, with bus and metro connections nearby, making it easy to get around the city. It was also easy to find, which is a big plus for first-time visitors. The room was comfortable and practical, equipped with a mini-kitchen and utensils, which was convenient for light cooking. There is also a nice rooftop garden where you can relax and enjoy the view. The apartment is close to the famous Stani Greek restaurant, as well as several mini-markets for groceries and daily needs. An AC is provided, which made the stay comfortable during warmer days. A special mention and thanks to Thanos and Konstantina for their warm hospitality and constant support throughout the stay. They were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide useful information about places to visit, travel tips, and other local details. However, there are a few downsides to be aware of. The back side and nearby streets are not very clean, and the area does not feel very safe late at night. After around 10 PM, it’s better to avoid walking around, as we noticed several homeless individuals and people associated with ***** in the vicinity during nighttime. Overall, Ermass Modern Living Apartments offers great value, a central location, and helpful staff, but guests should be cautious about the surrounding area at night."

"The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Acropolis and the museum, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. I don’t remember the staff’s names, but they were all very kind and helpful. The only downside is the poor sound insulation in the rooms — you can hear everything happening around you."

"The room in this hotel is very small because the house is too old. This room is built on an ancient castle. There are glass on the floor of the hall and the door, and you can see the ruins of the underground castle. The room is not big but very clean. You can see the Acropolis at the breakfast on the rooftop. The elevator is very small and can only hold two people. The service is good and no tipping is required."

"Awful hotel! We booked a room for 3 adults and when we arrived we were given a room with 3 beds and 2 mattress!! One of the bed had blankets and as mattress! Very uncomfortable and dirty! The staff were rude and the cleaners were terrible! Room full of black mould. They tried to charge us 30 euros because they said that we dirtied the towels and they couldn’t get them clean!😳 Avoid at all costs, plenty of lovely hotels in Greece, not this one."

"The service was helpful, and although the breakfast was the same every day, it wasn't bad. Unfortunately, the elevator was only available for luggage. The room had a view of a wall, and both the bathroom entrance and the bathroom itself were tiny. The shower stall had some kind of window curtain hanging in it. The hotel's surroundings were, well, unremarkable. However, there were many shops run by multinational citizens of the world. The security guard in front of the hotel, though, was impressive. If I were to visit Greece again, I wouldn't choose this hotel. These things aren't visible in the hotel's photos, unfortunately."

"I have to say, booking this hotel was a mistake. It's my own fault for not choosing the location carefully. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, about 700 meters from the metro station. I dragged my luggage and it probably took me 20 minutes to walk there. I should have booked something near Syntagma Square, as that's where the airport bus stops. It also cost me 10 Euros for a taxi from the main attractions in the old town to get here. Since it was already booked and couldn't be changed, I had no choice but to stay here. Then, when I went to sleep, I'm not sure if it was because I was anxious about leaving the next day or if the pillow was a bit too high, but I just couldn't get a good night's sleep."
