Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

Was impressed by the excellent service provided by Kim at the front desk, she handled our check-in efficiently. The rest of the team were also warm and friendly, and spoke fluent English. Something interesting was a self-serve room where you can get extra amenities like face wash and bar soaps, and also try different types of Okinawan brown sugar. There were lots of board games available so families would probably appreciate that. We truly enjoyed the view from our room as it had a good angle of the sea even though the hotel isn’t located at the beach. The room was huge and even had a freezer and an oven. For longer stays or if you’re visiting the beach often, the washer dryer would come in handy as well. The hotel had two restaurants for breakfast and although the variety was great, with a good mix of local and international cuisine, the quality could be improved. We had lunch on our first day and regretted our decision. Location-wise, the hotel would be better for those who intend to drive as it was quite a walk to the nearest bus stop, and the shuttle bus service was infrequent so we ended up not using it at all. 初めて、リッツカールトン沖縄に滞在しました。 クリスマス前なのもあり、エントランス入ると大きなツリーがありとっても素敵でした。 リッツカールトンの好きなところは、大きいホテルなのにも関わらずのんびりと静かに過ごせるところです。 お部屋も広くて本当にゆっくりと時間を過ごせました。 少し気になった点はシャワールームが少し匂う気がしました。

一進到房子裡就能聞到淡淡的木頭香氣，整體環境非常乾淨，讓人感覺很舒服。室內空間相當寬敞，總共有 4 間房間，最多可入住 8 人，很適合家庭或多人同行入住。廚房的設計也很不錯，空間大且使用方便，再加上附近有超市可以採買食材，非常適合一家人一起下廚。衛浴配置也很貼心，樓上樓下都有浴室，能大幅減少大家輪流洗澡的不便。另外還有洗衣機與烘衣機可以使用，對於連續住宿的旅客來說非常方便。地點上雖然比較偏郊區一些，但也因此環境安靜清幽；如果喜歡清靜、放鬆住宿氛圍的旅客，這裡會是很棒的選擇。整體而言，是一間非常優秀的一戶建住宿。

One of the best hotel I ever stayed so far. The staff was very patience and helpful! I love how the staff there attend to their guests. I feels welcome and I really love how the resorts are designed. By the way, their chinese food “Dragon Palace” was super delicious and price are reasonable. Will definitely recommend to my friends/ family who are travelling to Okinawa.

The hotel was very easy to locate, right off the main road, yet not noisy. The staff gave us a warm welcome and was very friendly and helpful. They are English speaking too. Room was spacious in Japanese standards. Very comfortable for 2 of us. Beds and beddings were clean and comfortable, we had very good sleep. Lots of amenities for you to pick at each floor lobby. And they have free washer and dryer on the 3rd floor too. Great for travellers staying longer. There are many restaurants and convenience stores all with minutes of driving in the vicinity. This is definitely a great place to stay.

easily one of the best stays ever! The hotel is located right beside the sea, literally along the shoreline, and it’s incredibly quiet. You can open the balcony door, let the cool breeze in, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves — genuinely therapeutic and such a rare experience! For a city person, this place feels like a hidden gem. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good hot water, which was especially appreciated during the autumn season. The only thing was that Wi-Fi seem a bit unstable and took some time to connect. Breakfast is complimentary and surprisingly good — clean, simple, and tasty, possibly reflecting a typical Okinawan-style breakfast. One of the best parts of the morning was taking a short walk along the beach right after breakfast. Overall, a very pleasant and memorable seaside stay.

2025/12/14-17入住雙床房三晚 今年四月來這住過一晚～很喜歡房間配置設備和位置，我們並不在意旅館旁邊是祖先的家，反而覺得安靜很好！ 自助入住，停車場很大很好停，設有車子充電設備，停車場有大型付費烘衣機，房間裏有免費洗衣機（附洗衣精） 雙床房一大一小床，床鋪柔軟適中，棉被舒服，有小陽台可以曬衣服，廚房是明火瓦斯爐，有簡單餐具可以使用，比較挑選鍋具刀具的～建議另外帶！ 還有快煮壺，微波爐，中型冰箱！ 距離美麗海水族館館大概20 到30分鐘車程，叢林樂園也差不多是這樣的距離，開車到名護市區約5-10分鐘，有Aeon和24小時唐吉訶德和其他大超市！採買和購物非常方便！
