Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

初めて、リッツカールトン沖縄に滞在しました。 クリスマス前なのもあり、エントランス入ると大きなツリーがありとっても素敵でした。 リッツカールトンの好きなところは、大きいホテルなのにも関わらずのんびりと静かに過ごせるところです。 お部屋も広くて本当にゆっくりと時間を過ごせました。 少し気になった点はシャワールームが少し匂う気がしました。

Was impressed by the excellent service provided by Kim at the front desk, she handled our check-in efficiently. The rest of the team were also warm and friendly, and spoke fluent English. Something interesting was a self-serve room where you can get extra amenities like face wash and bar soaps, and also try different types of Okinawan brown sugar. There were lots of board games available so families would probably appreciate that. We truly enjoyed the view from our room as it had a good angle of the sea even though the hotel isn’t located at the beach. The room was huge and even had a freezer and an oven. For longer stays or if you’re visiting the beach often, the washer dryer would come in handy as well. The hotel had two restaurants for breakfast and although the variety was great, with a good mix of local and international cuisine, the quality could be improved. We had lunch on our first day and regretted our decision. Location-wise, the hotel would be better for those who intend to drive as it was quite a walk to the nearest bus stop, and the shuttle bus service was infrequent so we ended up not using it at all. I

Pillow is way too thin. I can’t even throughout my stay.. But the room is super spacious and felt just like a home! Look at my pictures! The bathroom is amazingly spacious 😁 during my check in, I’ve no issue with the noises, hassle free check in and out, free parking.

一進到房子裡就能聞到淡淡的木頭香氣，整體環境非常乾淨，讓人感覺很舒服。室內空間相當寬敞，總共有 4 間房間，最多可入住 8 人，很適合家庭或多人同行入住。廚房的設計也很不錯，空間大且使用方便，再加上附近有超市可以採買食材，非常適合一家人一起下廚。衛浴配置也很貼心，樓上樓下都有浴室，能大幅減少大家輪流洗澡的不便。另外還有洗衣機與烘衣機可以使用，對於連續住宿的旅客來說非常方便。地點上雖然比較偏郊區一些，但也因此環境安靜清幽；如果喜歡清靜、放鬆住宿氛圍的旅客，這裡會是很棒的選擇。整體而言，是一間非常優秀的一戶建住宿。

［珊瑚島］位置雖然遠離名護市中心，但位置坐落於主要道路旁方便易找，而且附設泊車位，每套獨立旅館有不同的室內間隔，非常實用。今次選了2房雙人床的間隔，室內空間感極舒適，全屋採光自然，每個角落也能看到戶外環境，從正門簡潔的石系多肉植物小花園以至室內外的花果樹綠化甚至連浴室浴缸旁也型造一個賞葉植物的天井花園，這都是經過精心設計安排。 全屋內部以柔和的白色、灰色設計，大至客廳睡房廚房廁所的裝修、小至餐具浴巾配套的細微環節也是同一色系，看得出來都是用心誠意之作。 廚房爐具齊全清潔方便（竟然還有紅酒杯）；洗衣機乾衣機靜音、不得不說感應式水龍頭和浴室花灑出水系統都是份外驚喜。每間旅館獨立的小花園種有大紅花和蜜柑相隔確保私人空間還附設保安系統，朝早看到滿園蝴蝶翩翩起舞、晚上看到夜空星河，加上室外倘大的按摩浴池⋯⋯提升了整體住宿的層次，不得不說是一個非常舒適的住宿體驗。 另一方面，Online Check in簡便，而且還備料附近的觀光旅遊小册子，隣近又有便利店和紅樹林步道；旅程結束退房還遇到親切有禮的服務員，她更準備了一包不同口味的曲奇給我們餞別，深深感受到當地人文化及這次非一般民宿禮遇！絕對值得推薦和給予10星好評！！

One of the best hotel I ever stayed so far. The staff was very patience and helpful! I love how the staff there attend to their guests. I feels welcome and I really love how the resorts are designed. By the way, their chinese food “Dragon Palace” was super delicious and price are reasonable. Will definitely recommend to my friends/ family who are travelling to Okinawa.

It is an apartment-style accommodation (or home-stay) with no formal check-in counter or crew. For those non-Japanese without phone access, it is deemed inconvenient or difficult because calling local number for check-in is required. However the house-keeper was sharp enough to spot us struggling in front of the door via CCTV, he then walked from the building and performed check-in for us. Location is not great, adjacent to a cemetery & with only one 7-11 convenience store accessible on foot (no others shops around).Car parking available free.

Bilik dengan pemandangan laut penuh, kemudahan dalaman di dalam bilik agak ketinggalan zaman Terdapat pantai peribadi, sarapan percuma, yang sangat baik, dengan pelbagai ***a dan rasa yang lazat, dan BLUE SEAL ICE CREAM disediakan Kakitangan perkhidmatan sangat sopan dan cuba yang terbaik untuk memenuhi permintaan tetamu. Tempat letak kereta percuma!
