One of the best things about this hotel is its location it’s right in the center of General Luna, making it very convenient to explore Siargao. Restaurants, cafés, shops, and other places to visit are just nearby. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it a great place to rest after a full day of exploring the island. The hotel also has a nice and relaxing atmosphere while still being close to the busy area of General Luna. Breakfast was also really good, with a nice selection and satisfying portions definitely a great way to start the day before heading out to explore Siargao. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at SeaSky Siargao Hotel. The convenient location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and good breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting Siargao, and I’d be happy to stay here again! 🌴☀️"

"Thiis is our second stay at SIV, and we were assigned one of the newer rooms on the third floor. Breakfast was great, the gym was well-equipped, and the pool was nice. One small suggestion: it would be helpful to have a faucet near the gym so guests can clean their slippers before heading upstairs."

Our flight arrived early, and they were very accommodating by allowing us to check in as early as 11:00 AM, which we truly appreciated. They even prepared a small suprise for me since we arrived on the day of my birthday. We booked the Rattan Villa for five people, and it was incredibly spacious. There was more than enough room for everyone to move around comfortably. We also had restful nights—the beds were so soft and comfortable that it felt like sleeping in a five-star hotel. The resort has a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Ferra Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway. Note: The road outside isn’t cemented, so it’s a bit of a bumpy ride getting there, but 100% worth it once you arrive. Just think of it as part of the adventure. 😉"

"Overall a pleasant place to stay, not super central but always a short scooter drive away. Room was comfortable, although sound insulation was poor and there was morning construction going on from 8:00 which was very disruptive. The cafe / restaurant was very pleasant with jungle view and by the pool, yet had limited choices - adding fresh fruit juices (not concentrated ones) and appropriate coffee (not solvable one) would be appreciated. No gym available. Staff were pleasant but often slow to react or understand simple requests."

"J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel avec ma sœur pendant trois nuits et tout s'est très bien passé. L'hôtel est situé au bord d'une magnifique plage, calme et agréable. Il est également très bien placé, à proximité des restaurants, bars et lieux animés de Siargao. La chambre est confortable, même si la salle de bain est un peu petite. Le personnel est très sympathique, serviable et toujours disponible. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et de bonne qualité. Le principal point à améliorer concerne le ménage, qui pourrait être réalisé avec un peu plus de rigueur. En dehors de cela, le séjour s'est très bien déroulé."

I am happy to recommend Fat Lips Surf Lodge as a great place to stay in Siargao. The location is excellent—situated along Tourism Road in General Luna and conveniently close to popular spots such as AFAM Bridge (Catangnan Bridge), Catangnan BBQ, Shaka Café, and Cloud 9. It is also within easy reach of many of Siargao’s well-known restaurants, cafés, and tourist attractions. The place itself is cozy, aesthetic, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, and I was especially impressed by how clean and fresh the sheets and linens were. Having a private balcony overlooking the greenery was a wonderful bonus. Everything about the stay was smooth, hassle-free, and well-organized. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen, which is very convenient if you prefer to prepare or cook your own meals. One thoughtful touch that stood out was that they provide a coffee press along with freshly ground coffee beans for guests to enjoy—perfect for starting the day in a peaceful setting. Most importantly, the host was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout my stay, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Fat Lips Surf Lodge offers great value, comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao.

Kalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal). The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

I had a good time at Casavia Siargao. The location is ideal if you want to surf at Cloud9: you can walk there in 5 minutes, and it's much quieter than General Luna but still close enough if you want to spend the night eating/partying there. The private room was pretty nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom could use some love, but still it was ok. The staff is nice and always willing to help, and the hostel has several social nights organised via a Whatsapp group. While I didn't take part in those events, it's a convenient way to meet other travellers. My only remark was about the noise: my room was facing the upstairs social area and, despite the signs specifying the quiet time (22pm onwards) and also a 500PHP fine for people not respecting it, every night I had people making phone calls, playing the guitar or shouting loudly after midnight (or later) in front of my room and there was nobody around to remind to keep the voice down. That was annoying.

It’s located a short bike ride from where everything happens which is good. And they have a free water and coffee station. No cleaning of the room for the 5 nights we stayed there but got clean towels when we asked for it.

Rucksack is the biggest Hostel in Siargao, it offers private rooms for couple, family or group traveller and Dormitory Type rooms for Solo Traveller like me. Dormitory bed is comfortable with thick Hotel bedding, ventilation is very cool. Price is also great specially if you are budget conscious . Rucksack has its own Pool, Restaurant and Bar. Plus activities for guests every night. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

Pros: • hotel is new, they only opened last August • room was very spacious • beds, pillows, comforter were very comfortable • bathroom was very spacious with complimentary toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner • airconditioning was superb • room has a balcony (that we didn’t use) Cons • because it’s new, apparently their how shower has not been installed yet. But they provide hot water from the kitchen and will bring to the room in a pail 😂 • location is not ideal as it is a good 10-minute walk on a dirt road to get to the main tourism road • breakfast wasn’t impressive. The tapa and the tocino were tough. All in all, it’s still value for money. The entries crew were very friendly and accommodating. And I will still consider staying there next time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at POTB for six days, and despite a few minor inconveniences, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. POTB provided a memorable experience that I am happy to share with fellow travelers. Upon arrival, I noticed that the hotel’s mini bar was still under construction. While this was a slight disappointment, it did not hinder my overall experience. The hotel staff quickly accommodated my needs by providing alternative options, ensuring that my stay remained comfortable and enjoyable.Another aspect that caught my attention was the distance between the front beach and the sea. Although it was farther than expected, the hotel’s stunning surroundings and peaceful atmosphere more than made up for it. The well-maintained beach area offered a serene escape from the bustling city.In the evenings, I did encounter some occasional noise from nearby establishments. The loud music could be annoying at times, especially when seeking a peaceful ambiance. However, I found that during the majority of my stay, the hotel’s serene environment allowed me to unwind and relax, creating a balanced experience overall.I highly recommend POTB to those seeking a relaxing getaway with comfortable accommodations and impeccable service. Whether you are looking for a peaceful escape or a rejuvenating vacation, POTB is sure to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience.

You get what you pay for. If you want a budget accommodation with privacy and don't want to stay with a hostel, this is an option. Okay naman location since it is along Tourism Road. The downside is walang masyadong kainan na malapit kapag lumabas ka kaya need mo magtricycle palagi everytime gusto mo kumain. Kaya they also offer free breakfast kasi wala ka nga naman makakainan sa labas na malapit. 6:40am start ng breakfast nila tas yung babaeng assistant wala man lang urgency na ihanda agad at 7am pa magsisimula magluto. Lol. The worst part is yung pinapatay nila yung breaker ng electricty kapag tanghali (kasi inaassume nila na walang tao sa room) kaya minsan sobrang init kapag nagstay ka sa don. So need mo pa sila tanungin kung brownout ba or pinatay lang nila breaker tas tsaka nila bubuksan ulit. Then sa gabi sinasarado nila yung main valve ng tubig kesyo nakakalimutan daw ng guest na nakabukas daw yung gripo. E pano makakalimutan eh pinapatay nga nila yung main valve. So dapat lagi may ipon ng tubig para incase na patayin nila yung tubig eh makaligo ka pa rin. Lol. I suggest wag na kayo magstay dito and mas better kung makahanap kayo ng accom along Town Hall para malapit sa kaninan. Note that they collect a key deposit of 100pesos which wag ka na umasa na mababalik. Since all departure flights sa Siargao ay umaga and tulog pa sila around 5am then yung main house is nakalock so I guess yung 100pesos na kinolect is parang payment na rin sa key duplication so if ever na matapat din kayo sa ganung situation eh wag niyo ng iwan sa room yung susi at itapon niyo nalang.
