"The pool and outdoor area is stunning, definitely worth 4 star. I also enjoyed the shower. However.... The rooms and breakfast are not to a 4 star standard, I have genuinely had better in 2 & 3 stars hotels. The rooms are old yet unfinished looking? None of the balcony doors or windows, or presses close as they are warped, so the smell of the wildfires was constantly in our room and the A/C couldn't fully work as the hot air was getting in from outside. There was makeup on the sheets as we just checked in.. and the WIFI is SO BAD. Once again I've had better wifi in hostels.. it comes and goes very frustrating. The breakfast had a fine selection, yet the rolls were rock solid and pastries were stale, they kept putting the same stale, hard rolls and pastries out every day I think it's just for show? It's sounds like I'm being picky, I'm honestly not I stay in 2/3 stars all the time I'm just disappointed as we were excited to stay in a 4 star and it was a massive disappointment apart from the pool."

"Sangat kagum, terdapat kolam renang, berhampiran dengan jalan pejalan kaki. Biliknya sangat bersih. Kakitangan perkhidmatan yang baik Sekiranya anda berpeluang untuk kembali dan melancong, anda pasti akan memilih untuk menggunakan perkhidmatan itu semula."

"The AC wasn't cooling that day, but the staff moved us to a new room immediately. Unfortunately, the new room had a bit of a sewage smell, but it was already late so we didn't mind. The staff were very proactive and helpful. Overall, it was a good stay—great service, and I understand that some issues are just down to the building's structure."

"Nice small resort. Good vibe. Go for the larger villas facing the river. Price difference not not much. They are much quieter. The village villas are not villas but more like a cabin, so not sound proof and packed near each other. Breakfast is modest. Great friendly staff. Good Italian restaurant. Picture attached for both types of villas."

"Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Canary Guesthouse. A short walk over the bridge to the Walking market, which was great, but removed enough to be nice and quiet in the evening. Very friendly and accommodating staff, helped us check-out early too. Nice comfy bed, good bathroom, and free tea & coffee. There were a few tiny ants in our room on the first evening but we managed to get rid of them. Overall would definitely recommend!"

"This place is just on the main area of PAI. This is a modern hotel with great facilities and swimming pool. The hotel staffs are very kind. Room had a great view alongside absolutely clean and comfortable. The minibar contains many complimentary snacks, cookies and drinks. I had a great stay, The breakfast could be improved a bit."

"Ia adalah tempat yang bagus untuk individu atau pasangan berehat. Terdapat menu sarapan asas dengan hidangan telur, dan roti dengan jem dan mentega disediakan. Kopi dan teh lain boleh didapati pada bila-bila masa. Air panas perlu dihidupkan selepas sarapan pagi. Seronoknya ada Korean cup ramen. Terdapat 7-Eleven hanya dalam jarak 3 minit berjalan kaki, dan terdapat kopi ais, teh Thai dan banyak lagi di hadapannya. Mereka juga menawarkan perkhidmatan ulang-alik percuma ke pusat bandar. Suasana agak sunyi dan ngeri pada waktu malam kerana tiada sesiapa di meja depan, tetapi anda akan terbiasa dengannya selepas beberapa hari. Wi-Fi berfungsi dengan baik dan air panasnya bagus. Pai ialah sebuah bandar kecil, jadi tidak ada hotel besar, jadi menginap di tempat peranginan ialah cara terbaik untuk berehat. Orang Thai sangat peramah."

It's perfectly situated in the city center, making it an easy and pleasant walk to the main Walking Street for evening markets and shopping. There are many popular cafes and excellent restaurants right outside the door, so you'll never be stuck for a meal or coffee. Value: 5/5 The price is very cheap, offering excellent value for money, especially considering the prime location. Rooms & Comfort: 3/5 The rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, I have to be honest—the decor and furnishings make the room look not very comfortable or inviting. It’s functional and clean, but definitely basic. Noise Level: 2/5 A major downside is the poor sound isolation. You can clearly hear noise from the hallway, outside, and sometimes from neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared for potential disturbances, especially on busy nights or weekends. Overall Impression: If your priority is a cheap, clean, and centrally located place to sleep while you spend most of your time exploring Pai, this hotel is a perfect match. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, or luxurious room experience, you might want to consider other options. Recommended for: Solo travelers, backpackers, and budget-conscious couples."

"Checkin was a bit rushed and the lady behind the reception was not nice. When we had a question later about how to lock the door I got a rude answer that she ‘told us at check-in’. Which we did not recal. I don’t expect 5 star service. But minimum would be nice. Hygiene was good, location is amazing! If you are looking for a place to sleep, shower and put your stuff close to the center. It is the right accommodation."
