Ios Palace Hotel & Spa

Love this hotel ! The location is perfect on the island. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. Great experience overall. It’s our second time in Ios Palace and it is a great place to stay. The hotel can improve and upgrade its breakfast a bit.

We had a lovely stay! The rooms were very clean and they had the best view of Mylopotas beach! The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful! We absolutely loved the breakfast buffet and we also had a very nice dinner at tomatini restaurant. I highly recommend it for vacationing in Ios island

Very well positioned hotel with 1st rate staff. Although the hotel is only a 4* with a number of simple improvements it could easily be rated higher. Bath robes in each of the rooms, improved satellite TV in the rooms and the installation of a gym would significantly improve the hotel’s facilities.

I must confess that I was a little worried after reading some recent bad reviews about the hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, the view and location The view from the hotel is wonderful, and the location is perfect, just a few steps from Mylopotas Beach. Also, the bus stop is a few steps from the hotel and costs €1.60 to go to the center of Chora. The breakfast was excellent too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room cleaning took place every day. The hotel offers a transfer service from Porto for €5 per person each way. Some places in the hotel really smelled like sewage, but that didn't lower my rating. I know it's disruptive, but it's a hotel in the middle of an island, in the middle of the Mediterranean. I don't know if there's much they can do in terms of maintenance, you know? Take note that the hotel (and surrounding area) has a lot of cats. I know it's easy for me to say since I'm a cat lover, but cats just need love and food. If you can, it costs less than €3 for a pack of cat food on the market. Help the kittens. I'm giving one less star just because of the restaurant. We had a problem with the order, which was wrong, but they apologized. But it is also an extremely expensive risotto dish with very little portion of food. You will find much better options at restaurants on the beach and in the center of Chora.

Lovely hotel in an ideal spot. The service, food and drinks by the pool and in the restaurant are great. The accommodation is clean and in good condition - with gorgeous views of Mylopotas Beach. Ideally close to Mylopotas beach and the restaurants. It is well serviced by a bus into town, port and other beaches. A lovely place- we will be back

Lovely hotel everything was exceptional. Friendly staff, great location, lovely rooms. We had a massage in the spa with the lovely Stefa & Debbie it was delightful. Very well recommended. Our second year on Ios and we will definitely stay here again. The pools are beautiful and Mylopotas beach is by far our favourite place on the island

We had a lovely stay at Ios Palace. At check-in they kindly upgraded us to a new part of the hotel. Which we discovered later is under same management, but will actually be separate hotel ‘Ios Grande’ Anyway it was lovely with own pool and terrace with amazing view. Service was great and we had a super time.

Upon arriving, we were helped with our bags and given a welcome refreshment, which was so lovely, especially after a long travel. We arrived before check-in time (two hours prior), and so we waited by the pool with our drinks, which was an amazing and breathtaking view. However, we had assumed that someone would come to get us when our rooms were ready, but no one did. Ten minutes before our check-in time, we decided to go and ask. The very nice receptionist said she would check. She looked at her computer and announced that it was in fact ready. We wished that someone would have gotten us as we waited quite a long time. But we assumed they must have been busy. The view from our room was beautiful, but the room itself was very basic. For the price that you are paying, we had expected something a little more, but the view and the pool were gorgeous. Again, at this hotel, you are mostly paying for location more than anything else. Our first night, we had no hot water as well. But once my husband spoke to the receptionist, they sent someone right away. The hot water was back twenty minutes later. That was nice, especially since it was approx. 11pm when this happened. Great service on that front! The breakfast was awesome too! So much to choose from! We were very happy with it! We would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat but would not pay the same we had paid this time around. If it was a little cheaper, a definite recommendation! The IOS Palace Hotel and Spa is a little gem! The location couldn't be more perfect, situated right on the beautiful Milopotas beach. The rooms were impeccably clean and surprisingly spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The food served at the hotel was good, with a wide array of flavors and dishes. What truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible staff. They were friendly, accommodating, and attentive to every detail, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay with one the best views, while discovering the beautiful island of Ios
