I needed a solo wellness, weekend getaway and used our corporate rate to book a stay here knowing the quality of The Ritz Carlton brand. I hadn't been since it was The Four Seasons. The hotel is quite lovely and has beautiful amenities. The door persons, bellhops and front desk associates were very welcoming and professional. Due to my Gold Elite Status with Bonvoy I received a complimentary upgrade to a corner tower king room with a furnished balcony. I was so blessed to receive this room and loved the view overlooking the pool and outdoor back patios with a slight view of the golf/fitness area. ROOM: The room was so spacious with a separate lounging area, large bathroom, and furnished balcony where I had my coffee/breakfast each morning and sat each night before bed. Unlike some of the other reviews, my room did have blackout curtains (I wouldn't have slept otherwise) and I was able to sleep in both days. The big CON to this room was that I went for a restful, relaxing getaway and the AC wasn't working properly. It was cool when I arrived and would shut off during the night so it kept me up on an off all night long due to it getting hot then cool (never cold) in my room all night long. I called for them to review it the next day and they did and said 'it is fixed'. A sweet front desk person (Jasmine) even came up to my room to show me how to turn the fan on high so it would stay on. The 2nd night was much of the same. The AC is so inconsistent in delivering airflow that I woke up sweating on and off again the 2nd night. DINING: This is the biggest miss for me. Knife Italian was reserved out the first night so I couldn't try it so you either had to do room service or Outlaw, their casual dining. I opted for Outlaw. While there was room for me, there isn't much seating and their menu is very limited but my Las Colinas Salad with brisket was delicious. Service the first night was great. Tried to get a drink and dessert there on Saturday night (not busy that night) and it took 20 mins for a server to approach me. I did try Knife the second night and found that the ambiance was nice but the food for the price is mediocre at best. I am gluten free and I found the food offerings in general for room service, Knife, and Pool bar are very limited. Knife was very hard to find gluten free items and our waiter said that their pastas were technically gluten free b/c they use a 0% flour which I didn't understand. He wasn't very engaging or helpful in my dietary restriction. I did has a poke bowl by the pool the next day and it was fantastic. IN my opinion much better that Knife Italian. Finally, my breakfast on morning one was avocado toast on gluten free bread. I asked for the bread to be really toasted first b/c often times it isn't and it gets soggy. While the avocado mixture was great they delivered it on soggy gluten free bread. The next morning, they offered it to me again and I declined and asked for a the gluten free Belgian Waffle and was told
