We spent our honeymoon in TRS hotel with my wife. Check in was very quick and smooth unlike some other reviews i read takes a few hours, maybe it was on a weekday. Francisco at the check in counter was very helpful , he helped us upgraded our room to swim up suit and it was amazing! Sostenes and Cesar assigned as our butler for our stay and they were very helpful as well and always smiling. One thing I’d like to mentioned is that they said they have 25 minutes complementary spa for us for our honeymoon, and the reception told us to meet at the lobby next morning at 8:30am to take us to breakfast and to tour us around the resort. But the next morning we realized we have to attend to the sales center where they wants to sell us some traveling package which we didn’t expect, altho they are all very nice but we spent two hours there listening to them on the first morning of our stay and it was our honeymoon. wish they would let us know earlier then I would rejected, and they said we had to attend in order to claim the complimentary spa which at the beginning they said it’s for our honeymoon. Anyways, For food I highly recommended Gaucho steak house, we tried the bone in steak and they grill them with charcoal and it was very delicious , but the second time we went the steak was over cooked a bit. During our stayed we joined two activities, one is water aerobic and paddling. Both instructor was very fun and especially Dente. He was super friendly and patient! Overall we are satisfied with our stay, and would recommend to our friends.

We loved Selina, we stayed in the suite for 7 nights which was spacious and gorgeous.
I would have loved to give a 5 out of 5 but for half our stay we had to put up with dj’s playing until 2am, and 4am on one of the nights.
We asked about a room change but would have had to give up the suite, they provide earplugs but nothing can cut that noise or bass out!
My suggestion would be to stay if you want a great hostel in a great location but ask for a room that’s further away from the music, if that’s even possible.

I just have to say… This hotel far surpassed my expectations! I found such a good price that I was a little hesitant as to what it would be like. However, all I can say is, I was extremely pleased, and will definitely stay here again! The staff is absolutely wonderful… welcoming, friendly and very accommodating! The rooms are large and have a mini fridge and a coffee pot. In the shower there is a shampoo and body wash dispenser. Another nice perk is the free bottled water they supply daily. They also have a hydration station to refill as often as necessary. The location is perfect! Literally a 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal, a 5 minute walk to Playa Centro and 8-10 minute walk to Playa Norte. Directly next-door is a place to rent golf carts if you choose to do so. Keep in mind there is no where to park a golf cart at the hotel. I have read where some guests have complained about the noise, but that was never a problem for us. Yes, you are on a busy street but with the air running in the room, you honestly cannot hear it. Our room even faced the street and it was never an issue. I cannot wait to return to the island and stay here again!

I had an amazing experience at Mayan Monkey! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of flavors that left me impressed. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. Special shoutout to Dany and Paola for their outstanding service! They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

If you are wanting to have a destination wedding, I highly recommend Casa de los Suenos on Isla Mujeres in Mexico. My wife and I started planning about a year in advance and were coordinating with the hotel manager/Chris, who is also the wedding coordinator and Robert his assistant. We did not know what to expect when we got there for the wedding with 65 friends and family members, but our expectations exceeded 100 times over. The bar tenders and wait staff worked tirelessly throughout the whole evening to make sure everyone was happy and accommodated. From food to flowers to cake to seating to pictures and the timing of all of the day’s events, (It was Amazing!) We stayed in the Presidential Suite and had the other 12 rooms booked out as well for 5 days. The restaurant/ bar down on the beach “Kin Ha” has 3 pools, GREAT food and service, and allows you to be in a self-contained environment with your group. We can’t say enough good things about Chris. His knowledge, connections and attention to detail made for the perfect wedding for my wife and I.

Muy cómodo lugar para descansar y a muy buen precio. La habitación es amplia con TV, refrigerador, aire acondicionado. Tiene jacuzzi dentro de cada habitación, lo cual considero muy mal, dado que en la isla hay escasez de agua y un baño en jacuzzi desperdicia cantidades impresionantes de agua. El hotel tiene alberquita, para ir a la playa caminando hay clubs de playa cerca, ya si quieres ir a punta Norte, un taxi te cobra de 100 a 150 pesos. El servicio del hotel es muy bueno, a excepción del señor de la recepción quien siempre te atiende con cara mala. Es recomendable este lugar pues si quieres descansar, esta lejos del bullicio y tráfico del centro de la isla. Relación calidad-precio muy buena.

Everything was good. We loved the Mexican restaurant especially a man who brought breakfast got mad at me, telling me to make space for the food. There was clearly plenty of room and it wasn't even messy, but he yelled at me with all sorts of commands for no reason. It felt like he was taking it out on me, so I felt bad, but other than that, overall the stay was okay.

PPengguna TetamuMy experience at Atelier was nothing short of amazing. I visited the resort for my 30th birthday which was also my first solo trip. Every single person I encountered treated me with care and received me with love. I felt so special, literally like a Princess! I would love to come back and visit another time with friends and family. Here are some highlights worth mentioning: - I ate at Alba, Mercado 19, María Dolores, Takeshi, Limon y Sal, Bikini Azul, and La Consentida during my stay and all of them were good! Now for me, some were better than others depending on the type of food you like, but still, every single thing I ate was delicious. No hit or miss, the food was amazing, and at no point did I fall ill from food consumption. - Carmelo was my server at Maria Dolores for my birthday dinner and he and the entire staff treated me like royalty. I was alone at the restaurant for most of my reservation so they were all very attentive to me. The attention to detail in the food and the presentation made this a fine dining experience like no other. Everything was very well thought out and explained beautifully, like a story. Although the food at the restaurant is not included in the price of the resort, it’s very reasonably priced and worth it. - Joshua, Freddy, Adriana, and the pianist at the Azucar Bar & Lounge treated me like family for my entire stay. Every night I would visit them they would be so happy to see me and wanted to celebrate my birthday with me. Joshua is such a talented mixologist, every drink he made was made with love. I attended one of the cocktail classes hosted on Sunday evenings and although I learned some cool drinks, I wish we were able to be more hands-on and actually replicate making the drink instead of just watching him. - On the night of my birthday room service delivered a small plate of cheese and bread along with a champagne bottle, I really enjoyed that surprise! Random things to note that could matter to some people and are worth mentioning: - The walls in the rooms are pretty thin and you can hear everything going on around you, whether in the rooms surrounding yours or outside in the hallway. There’s ambient music playing 24/7 which is nice during the day but I think they should turn it down at night so guests can rest. - The app they suggest using for the resort is a bit glitchy and not fully functional. They encourage you to make dinner reservations using the iPads around the property because you can’t make reservations via the app which I find to be counterintuitive. This is the second Excellence resort we visited and although similar every resort has its own experience and shine. Although you may be tempted to check out the steak house or the seafood restaurant for dinner, we highly recommend checking out the AGAVE restaurant. Not only did they highlight traditional local dishes but again the service was great! Our Hostess Alexandra, was friendly, made us feel more than welcome, and gave us some great tips as to what to do at the resort!

However what has changed is the nickle and dime charges and the excessove cost of thier food. It was $30 per persn for Breakfast option, yet yoy ucould order ala carte breakfast for 1/2 that. They give you 1 small 16oz bottle of water per day and they only sell Evian in the gift store for a outrageous cost, They now charge extra of you want a bali bed which sat empty the wntire time we were there. As for the propertym the room it was all stellar as always to us.

Ok, so this place is a little off the beaten path, (1 mile down a bumpy, dusty, dirty, goat trail of a road to be exact), but so worth the effort to get there! Fernando and his staff have crafted a beautiful, eco conscious, peaceful oasis on the beach here. Stunning beach views, great accomadations with private plunge pools for each room and excellent food make for a great retreat. Very tastefully appointed and modern renovations! We fell in love with this place and are already planning our return!

Restoran di luar hotel sangat murah untuk dimakan. Pada dasarnya, berharga US $ 100 untuk membeli makanan yang mencukupi selama 3 hari dan membawanya kembali ke hotel. Bercakap mengenai kelebihan. Sangat tenang, suite dengan pemandangan laut mempunyai segalanya, microwave, dapur, peti sejuk, pinggan mangkuk, mesin basuh, sangat sesuai untuk kehidupan keluarga. The food was good. The steak house was our favorite. I do wish the ability to get reservations / walk into restaurants was better. Some were better than others. The pool and beach were very well maintained and perfect for all ages

After many, many visits to Isla Mujeres and stays in hotels as well as small casitas, our group of two couples opted for Rocamar because of its location on the malecon and its walkability to the beach, cafés, shops and restaurants we love. We requested second floor rooms and were squared away quickly despite a midnight arrival thanks to Jesse. A very quick room change was effected by 1 pm the next day for our travelling companions who had requested a king bed, and I’d say it was a fabulous upgrade to Room 18! If you’ve stayed there you’ll know why. Many thanks, Alma. A few thing took some getting used to but were quickly sorted. Bathrooms have glass walls but full privacy is ensured by pulling draperies over exposed areas. Stand far back as you adjust your shower temperature where you like it — hot water there is HOT. Our housekeeper was Kandy, a sweet woman who left everything gleaming each day around 11 am in our case. She provided extra towels and even some “Cloro” so I could get a stain out of my new white tee. We made sure to tip her everyday, even her day off, for her pleasant demeanour and friendly conversation. It helps that my Spanish is good. I’d say the hugest plus of Rocamar are its balcony views of the Caribbean Sea and the waves rolling in. Coffee and sunrises just naturally go together here. The sun moves to the southeast by lunchtime, so we would often spend our early afternoons by the small pool or the outdoor tables under shady canopies. The pool was clean and uncrowded; other guests were pleasant and respectful. Our single complaint was handled swiftly by the desk when a family had their small children in the courtyard running and shouting at 1 am. A definite bonus for us was the hotel cat, Misha, a clean spayed female dilute calico. She befriended us and spent most nights on our bed sleeping. She meowed to go out and returned in the evenings after dinner! There may or may not have been tuna involved. :) I hope all guests are accepting of her if not completely mad about her as we are. Look past a few dated things that could use paint. New pool umbrellas would be great but we know they take a beating with the constant onshore wind. We most assuredly will return to Rocamar for what we feel was an economical, safe and comfortable stay.

Enjoying our second stay now and booking our third before we leave. Not an overbuilt modern, fancy resort. More traditional rooms, with small fridge and nice tile shower/bathroom and a balcony or patio. Main rooms are spread along the beach behind gorgeous older trees & landscape with a pool. The Tower rooms are in the white building across the street- half overlook the street as it empties onto the beach, and offer good side views of the beach. Rooms on the other side of the Tower overlook quiet landscaping. Building adjoins Buhos, which is wonderful. Prices are incredible anytime of the year. Service is consistent and friendly but remember- this is not New York, or even Cancun!! More locals speak Spanish than English but every single one will find a way to communicate with you. Keep google translate handy on your phone anytime you have a request involving anything uncommon or requiring more than a few words :) A true hidden gem!
