Ulasan Selina Poc Na Isla Mujeres

This was not one of my best stays. Booked a standard private bathroom room and got a tentee room. Paid 300€ for 3 nights and then had to pay 200$ for an upgrade and they “upgraded” us to basment room. Not very helful staff. Trip.com made everything run smoothly with them but the hotel it self it’s just not what u book for. And the breakfast sizes are kinds portion. The only good thing in this hotel is the location. There is even no beach.

Hostel was very nice and clean. Super polite staff. Clean kitchen with big fridge, stove, sinks garbage and what not. They weren’t really generous with the filtered water since I needed to wait about an hour to refill my bottle with the water they put in. Overall great place on the beach with an amazing location!

We loved Selina, we stayed in the suite for 7 nights which was spacious and gorgeous. I would have loved to give a 5 out of 5 but for half our stay we had to put up with dj’s playing until 2am, and 4am on one of the nights. We asked about a room change but would have had to give up the suite, they provide earplugs but nothing can cut that noise or bass out! My suggestion would be to stay if you want a great hostel in a great location but ask for a room that’s further away from the music, if that’s even possible.

The hotel is very central, has a lot of activities (wellness), parties and excellent staff! We were really in love with facilities and resort style. The only downside to highlight was the cleaning. A lot of confusion specially about towels, they would get in and take our towels and forget to put new ones, or put one towel instead of 2 (we are a couple) and that’s basically the cleaning they do. But overall, I recommend a lot this hotel! We both enjoyed a lot and if we come back, we will definitely stay here again!

Hotel clean and tidy. Very good location. Bed was big and confy. The room has a big bathroom very well equipped with towels, shampoo and shower gel. The room has also a fridge with cold drinks. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to go to the Terminal and it is close to the bus stop. NIn every floor there are vending L L lmachinesd for snacks and cold drinks. Also you can get tea and coffee.

Bel endroit ,bien situé, beaux équipements cependant notre chambre 123 était petite et la vue horrible, sans compter un voisin de chambre qui s'est cru en discothèque à 3h du matin et qui semblait soûl tous les soirs et à qui la direction n'a rien dit.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Selina Isla Mujeres. The communication was nonexistent; they never responded to any of my inquiries. A hurricane was approaching, and they failed to notify or prepare guests in any way. The front desk staff was mostly unfriendly and unhelpful, providing no information when asked. My room was an interior one with no windows, leaving it in complete darkness. During the hurricane, the hotel was totally unprepared, and we went an entire day without food. To top it off, on the last day, they charged me to store my bags in their luggage room, even though no one else came and there was plenty of space. I would never stay here again.

We had a few times where we desperately needed to speak to the hotel prior the trip and during the trip,and they never never answered our calls,nor replied to texts... would not recommmend to anyone,felt like being scammed and didnt feel safe .....

Booked to stay here for two nights, the first was in an 8 bed female dorm and the second we chose to spend more on a teepee. Unfortunately, it was not made aware to us that on this night (Thursday) there was a party basically outside the teepee, with blaring music until 2am. Even with earplugs in there was not a chance we could sleep. We complained about this the next morning, and expressed our disappointment in having paid more for this experience when we would have been better off in a dorm with solid walls. The staff were quite unavailable and totally unforgiving, offering us no sympathy or compensation. It’s a shame I have to leave this review as the hostel was really well set up, good location with a pool, lots of hammocks and loads of space as well as a coffee shop but this ruined our last night of a 3 week trip for us.DO NOT stay in the teepees if you want to get any sleep. Customer service was awful and they didn’t seem to care about their reputation. Everywhere else we have been has been so warm and helpful but I cannot recommend this hostel in the case that something goes wrong, you won’t get help. In addition, it is not worth booking breakfast as the window to get it is very narrow (particularly as we had not slept the night before due to the party), there were limited options and they made me pay more for alternative milk. It would be cheaper to not add it on and buy it/go somewhere better as it was pastries and baguettes only. We had problems with wifi too, which was down for a whole afternoon and on reading reviews this is not a one-off occurrence. I wish I had read before! The drinking water frequently ran out and was not changed with any urgency and the kitchen and bathrooms were dirty.

Great location, great people and great beach. Facilities are well maintained, common spaces such as the cowork, kitchen, cinema are useful and people seem to care about it. Nice front staff, hard working people from housekeeping and rooms. Safe place to hang around, we definitely return.
