I just have to say… This hotel far surpassed my expectations! I found such a good price that I was a little hesitant as to what it would be like. However, all I can say is, I was extremely pleased, and will definitely stay here again! The staff is absolutely wonderful… welcoming, friendly and very accommodating! The rooms are large and have a mini fridge and a coffee pot. In the shower there is a shampoo and body wash dispenser. Another nice perk is the free bottled water they supply daily. They also have a hydration station to refill as often as necessary. The location is perfect! Literally a 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal, a 5 minute walk to Playa Centro and 8-10 minute walk to Playa Norte. Directly next-door is a place to rent golf carts if you choose to do so. Keep in mind there is no where to park a golf cart at the hotel. I have read where some guests have complained about the noise, but that was never a problem for us. Yes, you are on a busy street but with the air running in the room, you honestly cannot hear it. Our room even faced the street and it was never an issue. I cannot wait to return to the island and stay here again!

We have stayed at IZLA hotel since it 1st opened so we have seen the changes of time. The Property is in like new condistion still, Staff is great. However what has changed is the nickle and dime charges and the excessove cost of thier food. It was $30 per persn for Breakfast option, yet yoy ucould order ala carte breakfast for 1/2 that. They give you 1 small 16oz bottle of water per day and they only sell Evian in the gift store for a outrageous cost, They now charge extra of you want a bali bed which sat empty the wntire time we were there. As for the propertym the room it was all stellar as always to us.

I went there for my daughter's wedding in May 22-26 2023. From the time we were picked up from the airport until we were dropped of at the airport the service was excellent! The resort was beautiful, clean and so relaxing. It was the attention to detail that impressed me the most. The rooms were amazing, with our own jacuzzi, pool access from our patio with a hammock. The massage spa on day 1 was excellent and the spa amenities were great. There were fun activities every day such as water spin cycling, water Zumba, yoga, rifle shooting, archery, beach workouts, margarita classes, aloe scrub classes and more! We participated in many of them as a group or individually. I have to tip my hat to Lancelot who was our rifle shooting, archery and margarita class instructor. His energy was great and so fun! He deserves a raise for how hard he works and his great personality. All the activities instructors and assistants were a joy to be with. I normally would not participate or just watch for a few minutes but they were so fun and nice that I wanted to participate. And they would remember your name everywhere you went which made it feel like a loving community. I learned a lot from the margarita(Lancelot) and aloe scrub(Munther) classes. I'm glad that I participated. I also played water spike ball in the pool for the first time which was surprisingly fun! The restaurants were great as well. Our favorite was the Market Kitchen buffet though because there was so much to choose from everyday and the food was very good and fast. Dukes Lobster Restaurant and Insieme Trattoria were great and had a beautiful view of the sea over the pool. The server Angel was a delight to have serve us. He made sure that we were personally taken care of everywhere we ate including Duke's, Insieme Trattoria and The Market Kitchen. I personally let him know how much I appreciated his hospitality and warm personality. He along with Lancelot and I believe it was Jose were all a joy to see everyday and I often complimented them on their excellent service. The Tropical Juice Bar was a surprising delight. At noon you could get fresh coconut water in the coconuts that they grabbed straight from the trees on the resort! The Sweet Corner was great as well with delicious various coffees, pastries and ice creams available everyday from 7am in the morning til 10pm. There was live performances every night and they were all great! I really enjoyed the Reggae Band, the Michael Jackson Experience and the Mexico Day event. The food was excellent for the Mexico Day and there was something for adults and children. We only had one negative situation which was that for some reason our room cleaning on the last full day wasn't done by 4pm and I had to call concierge twice to get it done. But they apologized eventually got it taken care of and it wasn't a big deal. It didn't hurt our over all experience at all. That was the only negative the whole trip. If you are wanting to have a destination wedding, I highly recommend Casa de los Suenos on Isla Mujeres in Mexico. My wife and I started planning about a year in advance and were coordinating with the hotel manager/Chris, who is also the wedding coordinator and Robert his assistant. We did not know what to expect when we got there for the wedding with 65 friends and family members, but our expectations exceeded 100 times over. The bar tenders and wait staff worked tirelessly throughout the whole evening to make sure everyone was happy and accommodated. From food to flowers to cake to seating to pictures and the timing of all of the day’s events, (It was Amazing!) We stayed in the Presidential Suite and had the other 12 rooms booked out as well for 5 days. The restaurant/ bar down on the beach “Kin Ha” has 3 pools, GREAT food and service, and allows you to be in a self-contained environment with your group. We can’t say enough good things about Chris. His knowledge, connections and attention to detail made for the perfect wedding for my wife and I.

Muy cómodo lugar para descansar y a muy buen precio. La habitación es amplia con TV, refrigerador, aire acondicionado. Tiene jacuzzi dentro de cada habitación, lo cual considero muy mal, dado que en la isla hay escasez de agua y un baño en jacuzzi desperdicia cantidades impresionantes de agua. El hotel tiene alberquita, para ir a la playa caminando hay clubs de playa cerca, ya si quieres ir a punta Norte, un taxi te cobra de 100 a 150 pesos. El servicio del hotel es muy bueno, a excepción del señor de la recepción quien siempre te atiende con cara mala. Es recomendable este lugar pues si quieres descansar, esta lejos del bullicio y tráfico del centro de la isla. Relación calidad-precio muy buena.

My experience at Atelier was nothing short of amazing. I visited the resort for my 30th birthday which was also my first solo trip. Every single person I encountered treated me with care and received me with love. I felt so special, literally like a Princess! I would love to come back and visit another time with friends and family. Here are some highlights worth mentioning: - I ate at Alba, Mercado 19, María Dolores, Takeshi, Limon y Sal, Bikini Azul, and La Consentida during my stay and all of them were good! Now for me, some were better than others depending on the type of food you like, but still, every single thing I ate was delicious. No hit or miss, the food was amazing, and at no point did I fall ill from food consumption. - Carmelo was my server at Maria Dolores for my birthday dinner and he and the entire staff treated me like royalty. I was alone at the restaurant for most of my reservation so they were all very attentive to me. The attention to detail in the food and the presentation made this a fine dining experience like no other. Everything was very well thought out and explained beautifully, like a story. Although the food at the restaurant is not included in the price of the resort, it’s very reasonably priced and worth it. - Joshua, Freddy, Adriana, and the pianist at the Azucar Bar & Lounge treated me like family for my entire stay. Every night I would visit them they would be so happy to see me and wanted to celebrate my birthday with me. Joshua is such a talented mixologist, every drink he made was made with love. I attended one of the cocktail classes hosted on Sunday evenings and although I learned some cool drinks, I wish we were able to be more hands-on and actually replicate making the drink instead of just watching him. - On the night of my birthday room service delivered a small plate of cheese and bread along with a champagne bottle, I really enjoyed that surprise! Random things to note that could matter to some people and are worth mentioning: - The walls in the rooms are pretty thin and you can hear everything going on around you, whether in the rooms surrounding yours or outside in the hallway. There’s ambient music playing 24/7 which is nice during the day but I think they should turn it down at night so guests can rest. - The app they suggest using for the resort is a bit glitchy and not fully functional. They encourage you to make dinner reservations using the iPads around the property because you can’t make reservations via the app which I find to be counterintuitive. You’re not able to see the reservations you set up in the app so if you forget what time you booked, you have to find an iPad to double-check. Also, the map of the resort on the app is very hard to use and understand. - I feel like this is a given at any beach resort but if you’re looking to get a cabana by the pool or hut on the beach, I suggest you get there early. We spent our honeymoon in TRS hotel with my wife. Check in was very quick and smooth unlike some other reviews i read takes a few hours, maybe it was on a weekday. Francisco at the check in counter was very helpful , he helped us upgraded our room to swim up suit and it was amazing! Sostenes and Cesar assigned as our butler for our stay and they were very helpful as well and always smiling. One thing I’d like to mentioned is that they said they have 25 minutes complementary spa for us for our honeymoon, and the reception told us to meet at the lobby next morning at 8:30am to take us to breakfast and to tour us around the resort. But the next morning we realized we have to attend to the sales center where they wants to sell us some traveling package which we didn’t expect, altho they are all very nice but we spent two hours there listening to them on the first morning of our stay and it was our honeymoon. wish they would let us know earlier then I would rejected, and they said we had to attend in order to claim the complimentary spa which at the beginning they said it’s for our honeymoon. Anyways, For food I highly recommended Gaucho steak house, we tried the bone in steak and they grill them with charcoal and it was very delicious , but the second time we went the steak was over cooked a bit. During our stayed we joined two activities, one is water aerobic and paddling. Both instructor was very fun and especially Dente. He was super friendly and patient! Overall we are satisfied with our stay, and would recommend to our friends.

Everything was good. We loved the Mexican restaurant especially a man who brought breakfast got mad at me, telling me to make space for the food. There was clearly plenty of room and it wasn't even messy, but he yelled at me with all sorts of commands for no reason. It felt like he was taking it out on me, so I felt bad, but other than that, overall the stay was okay.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel, I just had the best time here. I do want to say that I am absolutely not a resort person who goes to an all-inclusive and spends all their time in the resort, doing the resort activities and hanging out by the beach all day. I spent a total of 8 days at this resort and half of those I was out the entire day. The 4 days I did spend at the resort I mostly just hung out on my balcony (which was FANTASTIC) reading. I didn't do any resort activities, I didn't listen to any of the evening entertainment, etc. I did eat at the restaurants, which were all very very good. I did seriously enjoy my balcony, which was one of the ocean view balconies that has 2 loungers instead of a chair and a hammock (I would not have enjoyed the hammock, so this turned out great for me). I also ordered room service multiple times, which sometimes took a little while and once they messed up my order, but the food was very good, and hot, and you could order it even late at night which was nice. Service across the property was great, everyone was extremely friendly, and I needed help a couple of times with random stuff and they bent over backwards to help me out. Couldn't have asked for better service. The location is great, very walkable to restaurants and stuff, and the property is really very nice. Overall I had a great time and I would happily stay here again.
